Replacement- no longer available! Warranty changed from 5 years to 2 years!
Called Dyson last week because the motor and LED timer is faulty on my V11 TORQUE handheld stick vacuum. The problem was confirmed via video with Edward and I was told to return it to Dyson with their prepaid label for a new replacement since it’s under warranty. Today (hours before I was taking it to UPS to return) I receive an email that they no longer have my vacuum in stock and my warranty has been changed from 5 years to 2 years! How? Why? This is the customer service I get after spending an huge amount of money on a Dyson vacuum?

Horrible experience!
Horrible experience! This product is garbage he doesn’t grabbing your hair it takes forever to get your hair dry is not too powerful. It’s not for a curly hair maybe will work better if you have straight or fine hair but if you have curly hair wasted time or money making this purchase. The worst part is the customer service. I returned my Dyson product 2 days after I received it. Since December, they had the product with them and today almost February, I haven’t gotten my money back they still holding my $600 I paid for it and I don’t even have the product on my hands stay away from these people. They are a big stealer.

I used to be a huge fan of Dyson air…
I used to be a huge fan of Dyson air purifiers. My daughter has a lot of allergies and they've helped her breathe better over the past 8 years. Usually I'd have no trouble ordering a new filter through Dyson, Target, or Best Buy. This time they weren't available at the stores and I got the wrong one from Dyson. It was not the same as previous versions, it's now black rather than green, which was confusing. I contacted customer service through the website and didn't hear back at all. I finally went to their Twitter/X page and saw an email address to contact in the comments. Finally I heard back and was helped to get the right filter. The person helping me said I didn't need to send back the other one. Then a couple of days later I got emails from Dyson with a QR code to mail back the wrong filter, which is fine with me since I don't need it. But the whole experience took up my time trying to find a way for customer service to help me and respond. I don't know what's changed at Dyson recently, but they don't seem to be the same company I trusted years ago. It makes me not want to buy their products anymore.

battery problem on my Cyclone V10 …
The battery on my Cyclone V10 wasn’t going the distance. I phoned Dyson Australia, a very understanding lady asked me a few basic troubleshooting questions, took down my address and 3 days later a replacement battery with installation instructions arrived on my doorstep. No 3rd degree … they honoured the terms of the warranty. Absolutely painless.

I will NEVER purchase Dyson again!
I will NEVER purchase Dyson again!! Animal 2 broke down in October 2023 after barely 2 years. First they send us a wild goose chase around the DMV looking for Dyson service center that was never open!! Then I sent it to them through UPS on November 10th!!! I have called them over 15 times and they can't find MY vacuum cleaner!! Wth!!?? Supposed to be sending a new one since January 10th!!?? I have nothing?! February 1, 2024. Going to BBB.com for my $500 back!! This is beyond F-up. On hold right now waiting for the resolution about my vacuum been over 30 minutes I don't think they plan on sending me a replacement

Deep Cleaning Cycle Malfunction
I changed 3 Dyson purifier humidify+cool formaldehyde products in 3 months. How Does? It all started when I put my machine, which had just completed its first month, into a deep cleaning cycle. The cleaning cycle finished but the screen got stuck and I couldn't get it to work again. When I did not get any results after my online conversation with the service, I sent the product to the technical service. When the problem could not be solved, they sent a new one, but this process took exactly 1 month. I ran my second newly arrived product in the deep cleaning cycle to test it and the same problem. Again technical service and unresolved malfunction. 3. I had the same problem with my product and now it will go to technical service again. In short, I got into a dead end cycle. I think the serial is faulty. I wish quality control, testing, etc. had been done more properly before leaving the factory.

Horrible customer care experience
Their customer service is clueless! They send you loop, promise updates within 24-48 hrs that never arrive, are confused as heck (they thought my return tracking was their replacement order tracking?!?). Horrible service, or better total lack of service, support, capacity to address the simplest of issues (a replacement!!!). Also, extra long processing and waiting times. Never buying from them again.

Horrible Customer Service
I would give Dyson customer service a minus 10 if I had the opportunity. I made a purchase in December for the upgrade to Dyson airwrap. The attachments are too large for my short hair. I have been attempting to return the product since December to no avail. I have a claim against Dyson from PayPal; however, from what I understand Dyson is not cooperating. I would NEVER order from the Dyson website again. Lousy customer support. Purchase Dyson products from Best Buy instead. I wish I had. Linda Guhe

The customer Service is the worse!!
The customer Service is the worse!!! It should be a minus score! I have spent over 2 hours on the phone waiting for customer service and while they look into things. I don't know where I called to, but clearly they have to put you on hold while they check something. I have a DC23 canister vacuum where the turbine floor piece no longer works and they no longer have parts for it. Alot of money spent on a vacuum I can no longer use and the vacuum itself works fine. All I wanted was to return 2 items that did not fit my vacuum. I will never buy another Dyson product again.

Terrible customer service!
Terrible customer service!! Almost impossible to get someone to answer a chat, an email or a call. When you finally get someone on chat your spend a ridiculous amount of time waiting for each reply and your hear stupid excuses and apologies instead of resolution. I returned an item and waited 18 days without a refund so I contacted Dyson. After all the hassles and time spent the answer was you'll hear from us in 2-4 days. DYSON CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND AND WILL NOT REPURCHASE.

Terrible Battery and customer service
Battery didn’t last a year. Now replacement recalled due to fire hazard after a few months. . Ordered another replacement battery from Dyson, still hasn’t arrived after 2 months. Customer service is the worst. You will spend hours on hold with an order issue. Avoid Dyson at all costs.

great vacuum-when it works and when you have it
I have had a dyson vacuum for 10 years. there is not enough room to tell my whole story, but suffice it to say, this is the 3rd time dyson has had to replace my vacuum and i have been without a vacuum for 5 weeks. every time i call, they tell me 7-14 days. today they said 5-7 days. still waiting. i will never PURCHASE another dyson.

Terrible return process/experience
Product wasn't great, which happens. Trying to return it was another story. Took them 2 weeks to provide a shipping label to return it. After that, they confirmed receiving the the item but I've been waiting two weeks with still no refund. VERY long wait times trying to talk to customer service. Avoid.

Terrible Product and customer service. Dyson Hot+Cool stopped working within 2 week of use. Contacting customer care from past 1 month and finally got response: Thank you for contacting Dyson, We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you and will make sure that we provide effective resolution. As per previous conversation we see that machine replacement would resolve your issue and you're waiting for machine replacement confirmation. Unfortunately, the item is out of stock with no estimate on when it will be restocked. Our team is working diligently to secure new stock. We truly apologize for the delay. Dyson has Fantastic prices and service.
I bought their cordless vacuum and it is the best. Smart mode to determine suction, versatile with the various attachments, can easily fit in areas a regular vacuum can’t. It is much quieter than your normal vacuum. I also bought one of their smaller air filters. I wish it a smart one to see what is in the air.I bought the big boy air purifier for alegery season. Lots of pollen and dust come in and you are constant cleaning every thing plus deal with allergies. I can’t wait to get it!!

Terrible return process!
Terrible return process!! Buy elsewhere if there is a remote chance that you might have to return! I bought a V12 on black friday. Returned it on the 7th of Dec '23. Dyson confirmed the reception of the item on the 9th of Dec but as of 02/07/2024 there is still no refund on my credit card. Thats 60 days!! Customer support says the refund is just around the corner but I am starting the process of disputing the credit card transaction with my bank

Where do I start. If I could leave less than 1 star review I would. I had to call customer service 6 times to get a reference # to return my Dyson, which is still under warranty, for repair. Twice I took the number and label into UPS store, and UPS couldn't find any such #. They were willing to ship it, but were going to charge me $56 for a shipping box, after Dyson said UPS would provide one. And Dyson refused to let me talk to a supervisor. They finally told me, on Call #6, that they were "upgrading their system" and were having problems with the reference numbers. The first time I called, I was on hold for 28 minutes before a rep came on. The 6th time I called, I was on hold over 35 minutes. All the times, I was consistently put on hold. And the reps were typically very difficult to understand. What HORRIBLE customer service. They should be ashamed of themselves. I finally got my husband to make up a shipping box (I was NOT going to pay $56 for a box@!). I can't even imagine how long it will be before I get my vacuum back.

Great customer service and hassle free return with great communication
I had a great experience with customer service. My Dyson broke and I still had it under warranty, I contacted Dyson via email and they said they would send replacement parts, however then those parts were out of stock. I contacted them again mentioning the issue to them and they immediately helped solve the problem by telling me to send the vacuum back with all the accessories. They were very kind and understanding and made the return process hassle free. The Dysons are a little pricy but the customer service was great on my behalf.

I dont give u 0 starts just cause is not an option. I called cause Im a profesional Hairstylist from IL but rn im out the state in PA. I wanted to get my professional discount. Accidentally I hunged up in the moddle of our call but i got a voice mail from them making fun of me pretending my phone olan expired. They need to be more professionals.. what an idiot kids u have working there.

Expensive Dyson hair dryer lasted 2-3 years
I love my Dyson Supersonic hair dryer but it stopped to turn on after 2 1/2 years. I have followed all cleaning instructions from dyson and I never even took it out of my drawer after each use. Dyson Service Center told me the motor is dead and there is nothing they can do because waranty expired in 2 years. I wrote a complain to Dyson support and they didn’t even bother to reply me. I was very unhappy about the short life for such an expensive appliance. I suggest you only buy this hair dryer if you don’t care about the expense of a new purchase every 2-3 years.
