I used to be a huge fan of Dyson air…
I used to be a huge fan of Dyson air purifiers. My daughter has a lot of allergies and they've helped her breathe better over the past 8 years. Usually I'd have no trouble ordering a new filter through Dyson, Target, or Best Buy. This time they weren't available at the stores and I got the wrong one from Dyson. It was not the same as previous versions, it's now black rather than green, which was confusing. I contacted customer service through the website and didn't hear back at all. I finally went to their Twitter/X page and saw an email address to contact in the comments. Finally I heard back and was helped to get the right filter. The person helping me said I didn't need to send back the other one. Then a couple of days later I got emails from Dyson with a QR code to mail back the wrong filter, which is fine with me since I don't need it. But the whole experience took up my time trying to find a way for customer service to help me and respond. I don't know what's changed at Dyson recently, but they don't seem to be the same company I trusted years ago. It makes me not want to buy their products anymore.
