My order has still not been received…
My order has still not been received from 1/6. I have no idea where it is other than PBK E Mailed me to say it was somewhere in Canada. I have been in touch with Canada Post and they do not have the package either. So right now I am one very dis-satisfied customer ! Having spent a considerable amount of money with ProBikeKit recently I am very disappointed in PBK customer service. However i don't suppose this review will make any kind of difference. PBK have my money however i do NOT have the products I paid for. Duncan Rokahr

Narrow tires
I ordered 700x28 and these tires were way narrower, more like 700x23-25’s. Also, the max pressure was stated as 120 psi. I pumped both tires to 110 psi. Both tires blew out. $20 down the hole. The max pressure is more like 90 psi. Not real happy with these tires. Thanks.

Rudest customer service I’ve ever encountered
So, I ordered a new bike part from BTD and the order sat in limbo for 6 days “packed and waiting for shipment” so I contacted them to inquire about the status (promise is 1-2 day shipping). Ron at BTD confirmed that they had misplaced the order and that they did not have another to ship to me so I agreed to go on backorder. Ron was helpful and polite. That evening I noticed that I had been billed the full amount (a few hundred dollars) so I requested, via their online inquiry page, for this to be refunded. I never received a response so the next day I checked on their website to find that my backorder was canceled. I contacted Nate via their chat and he was extremely rude and started telling me how expensive it was for them to lose this part. Then he lied to me and told me that USPS lost the order but refused supply the tracking # to me so I could check on my shipment. All I wanted to confirm is that my refund was processed and that my backorder was reinstated but he refused to do it saying that all I can do is reorder it, at full price. My original order had a significant discount because I had shopped their for over 10myears. He obviously was lying about the order because the part was showing as in-stock in their online inventory and he just didn’t want to sell it for the original discounted price. I conceded that he would not be helpful so I told him that I would save the rude chat to take this up with customer service. Not only did he block me from receiving the chat info, he told me that he would personally cancel any orders that I try to put into their system. Clearly a case of an immature person digging themselves into a hole an trying to lie their way out of it. They lost a customer for life because of an immature and rude customer sales rep.

Worst customer experience for an online site
If you are expecting decent customer service, avoid this site. Agents are smug and want to prove you wrong at every turn, with no concern or admission of their mistake. It’s actually laughable how this site thinks it can get away with this attitude in this day and age.

My order went from Portland to Anaheim…
My order went from Portland to Anaheim (I live 30 minutes away). THEN, it was sent to Tulsa, Oklahoma where it stayed several days before sent back to Anaheim. I missed a planned ride with my cycle group all because of a shipping error. A company is only as good as its promise of timely delivery. And in this case, it was a horrible experience.

Order placed 2/17 qualified for free…
Order placed 2/17 qualified for free shipping, sent USPS and has still not delivered as of 3/4. UPS is more reliable than USPS and only costs slightly more. I spend at least a couple of hundred $$ at BTD every year, just placed an order for a needed component with another west coast based online store and got it in 4 days, Will take this into consideration on future purchases.

Hello Reg, Sorry to hear, we also heard from dozens of other customers with delays whose orders shipped mid February as well. With severe weather around the country at that time both UPS and USPS had lengthy delays. I checked your tracking and your package is in Lake Mary now so you should have soon. It should be noted that our warehouse workers walked and rode into work during an ice storm to make sure orders were shipped on time, and we did ship on time . So huge bummer to see that a USPS delays has reduced your perception of us. Sorry again for their delay, we tried very hard. Thank you, BTD

I bought a pair of tubeless ready tires…
I bought a pair of tubeless ready tires and tried to mount with Stans and even with a compressor they wouldn't mount on my tubeless wheels. So,how about telling me what tubeless ready means.my favorite bike shop's owner says that terminology is a scam. A tire is either tubeless or its not!!

Hello Barry, Sorry to hear, there are many variables that can cause trouble when setting up a tubeless tire. We never heard from you so we are not sure what happened, but we wish you would of reached out for help. Tubeless ready tires don’t have the sealed casing that UST tires do. That makes them lighter, and also means they require sealant to hold air. Tubeless ready is the standard these days. Overall tubeless ready tires are not a scam and most of the time work fantastic, we have sold thousands of them over the years. We will reach to help, but a guess would be that your 26" wheels are not made for tubeless tire. Thank you, BTD

Hello Brij, These are really confusing, I wished you would have let us help. Vittoria list the size in the USA standard as 700x38c, but the actual ETRTO size is 40-622. You will find both listed on the tire's sidewall, we go with the ETRTO standard for sizing. Worst order experience ever from BTD.
The box arrived very late, was badly beaten up and contained ZERO packing material. The box was badly damaged since it had no packing material. A six pack of cartridges was open leaving the cartridges to bang around in the box pulverizing the box the Vittoria tyres came it. My worst experience with BTD ever.

Is this how you respond to customer concerns?
i ordered tires and checked the box to order the appropriate tubes. They sent me the generic tube that fits multiple size tires rather than the tube specific to the tire I ordered. I asked the tubes be replaced and asked for a call tag so it would not be at my expense. The reply I received was "it will work, rubber stretches". Not really good customer service. As an aside, my daughter worked for 5 years in Hannover doing r&d for CONTI. She agreed with my perspective on the situation.

Hello Michael, Sorry to hear you are disappointed, lets cover a few things. We sent you exactly what you ordered, and what your order could not be more perfect. The Continental tube you ordered is listed as 18-25 and that is ideal for the 23mm tires you ordered. I read our email exchange and it says: "Good morning! Tubes cover a range of sizes due to the inherent stretch of the rubber. You just want your tire width to be in the tubes range, ie 20-28, 18-25, 28-32. The first two in that sequence would be great, the last would not fit. The 700(622)x18-25 tubes on the order are a perfect fit for the 700x23 tires. Let us know if you have any other questions!" This is the exact tube your ordered from us on order 1367745 a few years back. Please install the tubes and enjoy what you bought it an ideal set up. Thank you, BTD

Great until you have a problem…
Great until you have a problem- brand new Conti GP 5000 failed in first 30 miles and their customer service tried to tell me how I had hit a road hazard. All sorts of soft apologies but nothing actually useful offered.
