Caution
My husband and I were blown away by the service Arnold and Mishel provided us during our home purchase. Everything they did far exceeded any expectations we had. We were so impressed with the whole process and their services we couldn’t stop talking about it. The comfort level and knowledge they provided us led us to feel 100% confident in our purchase and informed every step of the way. We would never consider using another company after the services we were provided here. We will recommend Arnold to everyone and consider him to be one of the main reasons our home buying journey was so positive. Thank you Arnold and Mishel for taking so much pride in your work and putting forth so much effort to make our dream come true. We are truly grateful. Update : We were forced to refinance our home within less than a year due to our impound account being short almost 2k I believe. Our payment had spiked almost 400 dollars for 4-5 months to fill our impound account. Even after that our mortgage still went up more than 200 dollars a month. Anyone and everyone we spoke to about this said the same thing “I’ve never heard of that before” Arnold claimed this was due to our property tax assessment. This was untrue because our property tax went up $100 dollars a year. Not nearly enough to cause such a huge issue. We never got an answer as to what went wrong. We trusted him to refinance our home and I’ve already received calls of checks going the wrong places and for the wrong amounts. We will now wait and see if our payment increases in another 10 months. The fact that we paid for another refinance due to whatever happened and not because we simply wanted to and we are already losing confidence in it is sickening.

We are now with Homebridge as out…
We are now with Homebridge as out broker chose them for our new home . We had the worst time getting the loan closed and it cost over 4000 in additional cost to stay in a hotel and pay to hold furniture on a moving truck for 10 days. The process and the amount of times we sent the same paperwork over and over . Where do we send the tort claim for these cost not covered by anyone? Tim McKern

Don't waste your time
Simply put, do not go. The staff couldn't have been any less helpful. Giving a rate much higher then competitors all while insisting they are the best. When I spoke with their agent their response to my telling them the interest rate they offered was way too high was "I've been doing this for over 30 years, I know what I talking about" all while interrupting me and hanging up the phone on me multiple times. Extremely unprofessional and very disappointed in their service. I suggest king's mortgage if you want a good rate and excellent service. They closed out our escrow earlier then anticipated even though we went with them a week after we went into escrow. Dont go to homebridge. Not worth your time or money by far!

Worst experience ever
Worst experience ever! I lost my earnest money because my loan app was with the underwriter for over a month. My loan origination guy kept asking for updates and was never given a real update just “it’s in the que for the underwriter to review”. I will never apply for anything else through this company. Customer service is the worst.

Had gentlemen name David Wickham NMLS # 849764 called me . He asked if i was interested in refinancing my home, said that he worked for Homebridge . Said that i qualified . I was kind hesitant, because i had just refinance 11 months ago , i keep putting it off and off for 3 months . David and i had conversation . He explained to me that my payment would drop by 281 dollars , ( that his company would not let him refinance me if it was 100 dollars . Well get my statement , and my payment only dripped by 81 dollars . i called David back said he would get back to me. Well he has not gotten back to me .i called him and he tells me that here nothing he can do .... because its been 30 days ... well it has not been 30 thirty days .... If this homebridge way of doing business , i dont want to be with them .....

Brent failed us
While the process was explained to us and we provided all documents on time, we were constantly asked for information that we had already provided. We called on a Friday to ensure everything was needed for our closing monday and were told that everything was good. On monday, the lender was late in providing documents to the title company causing us to have to push back our closing time. Furthermore, when we went to close the lender requested us pay more costs that they had "forgotten". Overall we had to wire money three times increasing the amount we were fronting when we originally had been told that we would be recieving money back during closing. I am extremely disappointed in how homebridge handled the loan and caution anyone in using them as it may cost them losing a home but will most definitely cost them more than homebridge quotes. Overall, this company has poor communication and poor timing. Despite us as the customer constantly checking in to make sure everything was flowing smoothly, homebridge failed us as a lender

Woodbridge Branch
Good afternoon, I received a reply that i was going to get contacted and yet I have not received any calls. As of today we are in terrible risk of losing our escrow deposit which are all of our saving. Please HELP! Good afternoon, It has being a month since we start the process for a Mortgage with the Woodbridge Branch, so far I can say it has being one of the worst month of my life and as of today we still have no signs of progress or updates from the branch. Due to the slowness of the process we had to request multiple extensions to the contract, this extensions end up affecting us financially since we lose a credit we had agreed before from the seller. Our perceptions from the HomeBridge team is that they are trying to make any excuse to not give us the clear to close. We have being very diligent providing all documentation request and either they just don’t review the information or request something more. Our processor told us that after receiving the information it takes 48 hours for her to review, since we got the approval with condition on June 4th we have being back and forth with our processor delaying the process every day a little bit more. A few days ago the Area Manager intervene and told us to contact him directly with any questions, this was done in a very unprofessional email to all the parties involve requesting to not ask questions or conditions to our processor. Not sure if this review will help my case or it will put it to the bottom of the open cases they have on that branch. At this point we are very desperate and this whole process have being the opposite of HomeBridge core values and mission. Mission: The experience has NOT being simple at all, neither easy and the “trusted Experts” are not committed at all neither. Core Values: The customer experience has not being their priority since we are treated with no respect at all.

When I refinanced my home
When I refinanced my home, Homebridge gave my refinance company a finial payoff minus my escrow.which I did not request. Homebridge then took my escrow for interest and corporate fees. I DON'T THINK THATS RIGHT. I pay my escrow for taxes and insurance NOT PAYOFF.

Worst Experience Ever
In all my experience of purchasing a home (5 now), I have never seen such a sloppy, unprofessional home loan service. There have been lost documents that were asked for from us multiple times, there have been unanswered phone calls and e-mails spanning weeks and lack of empathy on Jonathan's part to help close on the loan. This lender and Jonathan in particular have made us regret choosing Hombridge.

Communication Issues
My mortgage was sold to Hombridge. I have had very poor experiences with customer response since then. Their call center ALWAYS transfers my question to someone else, often before I complete my question. Invariably, the call gets hung up, and I have to re-call and try another option. They are ALWAYS "Experiencing High call volume". Most calls take me 1 hour or more. Their web site is impossible to log on. I have had to change my password and ID EVERY time I try to log on. Terrible communications!!!!!

If I could leave negative stars I…
If I could leave negative stars I would. Hands down the most deceptive, dishonest, predatory company and loan officer I have ever encountered! On October 8, 2019 I received a FHA refinance estimate on my home with estimated closing costs of $4,616.50. Less than 24 hours later I received a residential loan application with estimated closing costs of $14,126.00!!!! My loan officer, Kendal Becker, was aware I was a single female with no prior mortgage or real estate experience. He also knew I needed the refinance to lower my interest rate and pay off 2 debts. I would have saved over $700.00 a month. Ultimately, the home appraisal revealed my home did not meet the minimum requirements set forth by HUD for a FHA loan. This meant the 2015 mortgage loan Kendal Becker had assisted me with was fraudulent. Rather than be honest, Kendal Becker pulled MULTIPLE credit supplements in less than 3 weeks looking for a way out of funding the loan. When nothing negative was found on the supplements Homebridge Financial and Kendal Becker DISAPPEARED at the closing of my loan with no explanation. I requested a reason 2 weeks later, at which time I received a false statement of credit denial. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY..... feel free to email me a FHAMortgageFraud@gmail for more information.

So since I closed my business due to…
So since I closed my business due to coronavirus my mortgage company Homebridge Financial is prepared to offer me a 3 month forbearance but in 3 months I would owe a lump sum of over $6000. How is that right? How are we supposed to do that? Why can't they put the money on the end? Why no assistance in this troubled time? People are going to end up homeless and houses are going to be sitting empty so the mortgage company will be losing money then right? I've never paid them late before. This company is obviously all about money and greed so you can bet if I make it through this troubled time I will take me mortgage to a company that steps you for our community

I marked one star because I couldn't…
I marked one star because I couldn't find a negative. This is the first and last mortgage company I will EVER work with. When my loan originated there was to be NO ECROW; I paid extra at closing for this. Since February 2019, they ADDED escrow, increasing my monthly payment by $600. After speaking with MULTIPLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSOCIATES, IT IS STILL NOT CORRECT - - AFTER A YEAR!!! I was told on January 15, 2020 that a check was being cut and mailed for over $3,000 for the overage on the escrow account. Today I'm told they did not send the check, and again applying it to an escrow account - that should not exist. What does a person have to do to get thru to these people??????

Website Issues and Horrible Customer Service
The worst customer service and continually has "website issues" that don't give you access to your account. Every month, since the inception of my loan, I have had issues logging into my account and yet there seems to be no end in sight and no communication. I constantly hear "we have no IT Department" or "they are working on it". Please invest in the infrastructure that services your customers!

Beware - Fishy Bait and Switch
A HomeBridge loan officer executed what seems like a bait and switch scheme on me. I am not sure what they did was illegal, but it was for sure not ethical. Below is a timeline of what happened 1- I just signed a mutual agreement for a property. 2- I approached a HomeBridge loan officer for a mortgage loan quote. I already had a default lender but wanted to shop around a little. 3- They quoted me a too good to be true10/1 ARM mortgage rate estimate. Almost 0.5% less than what I had. 4- Naively, I canceled my application with my default lender and proceeded with HomeBridge hoping to get that 10/1 ARM rate that they quoted me. 5- 2 weeks past, during these 2 weeks they officially rate locked that 10/1 ARM loan estimate for me, so I thought I am definitely getting this deal. 6- A week before the closing date of the deal, they informed me that they can't honor the 10/1 ARM rate they gave me before and instead they can extended me a 30 year fixed rate. They didn't tell me any reason why they did this last minute switch and they advised me to better take that deal otherwise I may not close on time on the property and will have to pay late fees. This felt like extortion to me. HomeBridge was forcing me to take whatever deal they gave me because time was running out. I ended up switching back to my default original lender but I am still on the hook to pay late fees (> $2000) because of the time HomeBridge wasted playing their bait and switch game. I can provided email/text messages/the official estimate to prove every word in this review.

LOAN AGENT NEVER READ THE CONTRACT!!! HE JUST WANTED THE SALE BY ANY MEANS!!
I dealt with a loan agent named Mark Patrick Vejack(266799) out of NY, NY. I initially contacted Mark the end of August of 2019. I found a home I decided to put an offer on and informed him on October 22nd. I had several conversations with him about the home, specifically that it's a 2 family and both units are leased until June of 2020. I also expressed my concerns of not residing in that area/region and obtaining a primary residence loan. Mark suggested we do a "second home" loan with 10% down, which I knew nothing about. My contract was sent to him this same week. His rationale was since I had a sick mom in the area, he could justify the need for a second home. I spent literally weeks obtaining not only the necessary documents from me, but now I had to involve my sick mother, who couldn't even get out of bed some days. He continued to string me along telling me he needs this, then he needs that, he involved others in the office emailing and calling me but that "we're good". "we're going to get this done". This went on for 2 months, until finally getting close a closing date in mid December. Then while I'm away on vacation I get a phone call from yet another stranger in the operation, that I need 25% down and one of the units needs to be vacant. upon returning from vacation, I call Mark and he tells me #1) He "didn't know it was a 2 family home". #2) He "didn't know both units were leased until June 2020". As I stated initially he received the contract in mid October with all of this info, as well as my multiple phone calls to him. This just means HE NEVER READ THE CONTRACT!!! HE JUST WANTED THE SALE BY ANY MEANS!! I SPENT 2 MONTHS OF HELL GOING THROUGH THIS PROCESS FOR NOTHING!! THIS ALL COULD'VE BEEN AVOIDED IF HE DID HIS JOB AND DUE DILIGENCE!!

Stay away..
Stay away... A few months ago I refinanced my house from a 30 to a 15 year. That part went smoothly. However, HomeBridge's online system would not allow me to sign up for automatic withdraw. After battling with them nothing really got solved because they SOLD my loan. This is a major red flag. Reading through other comments it sounds like they are having the same problems. After transferring my loan over to Cenlag my account was screwed up and they are in the process of deleting my account so I can sign up again. Getting a loan is easy and you can do that through a number of people. If you are on the fence about who to use please take my advice. HomeBridge does a great job of signing you up, but after that they are a complete disaster and will sell of your loan. I will not use them again and have already directed a few of my colleagues away from HomeBridge and will continue to.

BEWARE of this company!
BEWARE of this company. I worked with Homebridge Loan officer Kendal Scott Becker NMLS #404622 for 65 days on my mortgage refinance. Homebridge and Kendal Becker DISAPPEARED on the day of closing with no explanation. I am out $875.00 for a home appraisal, 30 years of interest and several thousand dollars due back to me. Do not be a victim of mortgage fraud by this company. BEWARE.
