Constant Hang Ups and Cold Transfers
HomeBridge is leaving a terrible impression on myself and other parties involved with the closing of my home. For weeks, the closing attorney's firm has been trying to reach out to obtain a Payoff Statement. I signed an authorization form allowing them to do so. My closing attorney emailed the request and offered to have the Payoff statement faxed or emailed back. The customer service representatives told my closing attorney that they have no authorization to release the statement. When I spoke to the customer service representatives, the rep first said that the request couldn't be found. Then, she said the request was found but it wasn't specified how the closing attorney wants the document sent to them. Upon further review, she found the fax number and (obviously) the email to respond to since the request was made via email. Nevertheless, I had to get involved and send the Payoff Statement myself. Now yesterday, I spent 2 hours being transferred over and over for one simple request: "Please put a stop payment on my property taxes due this month." I went through the proper prompts to get a hold of the tax department. I was cold transferred to "Ms. Hall - ID# 485886" who promised not to cold transfer me and that's exactly what she did after a 30-minute hold. Then I spoke to "Charlene - ID# 0192" who refused to get me a supervisor and then proceeded to hang up on me. Each time I called back last night, customer service reps hung up immediately almost as if they have a long phone queue to clear quickly. This service is terrible . . .

Shared Financial Information without Consent. DO NOT USE!
Do not work with Homebridge if you value your privacy. This lender shared financial information regarding loan preapproval amounts with third parties without asking for our consent! After applying for a loan through Homebridge on the recommendation of a local realtor, Homebridge shared the results of our preapproval with the realtor without asking for our approval. Furthermore, they have yet to contact us directly with the results of our application. This feels like a HUGE breach of trust. Sharing the result, and amounts associated with, our preapproval with someone we have not given permission to share the information with feels inexcusable, let alone doing so before sharing this information with us, the borrower.

If I could do zero stars...I WOULD
If I could do zero stars...I WOULD! Homebridge is a joke. I have been waiting for a refund for an overpayment for 14 business days. I was told it would be done in 10. I have called Homebridge about 12 times only to be hung up on after being put on hold. Don't waste your time, GO ELSEWHERE! I submitted a ticket for a refund on 10/2, was told it would be processed and I would receive a check in 10 business days. Didn't happen, turns out the incorrect ticket was submitted after I was told by a supervisor it would be expedited. She was expediting the wrong ticket. I called back asking for a status update, that's when I was told they submitted the wrong ticket to they would have to submit a new one and get an ACH deposit to my account. I was promised it would be completed in 24 hours. 24 hours came and went. I'm still waiting and when I called to get an update I was told they don't do ACH deposits I would be receiving a check. I cannot make this stuff up... this place is awful and would definitely not recommend if you appreciate decent customer service and knowledgeable staff. They don't have either!! Waiting from October 2nd to October 22 (and still have an open ticket) for an overpayment refund is ridiculous! UNACCEPTABLE.

IMO-Worst Mortgage Company
This is by far the worst mortgage company I have ever had to deal with. I have been trying to resolve some discrepancies with them that amount to thousandS of dollars for monthS now (maybe more than a year) and cannot get answers. I have been on the phone for hourS at a time, to be transferred over and over and disconnected time and time again. They cannot get stories straight, don't have knowledge, don't know anyone that does, cannot reach out to supervisors, the list goes on. I have been promised over and over a call back, only to never receive one and when I did get a supervisor, they also have not followed up to resolve the issues. Even calling just to make a payment is a long, drawn out, painful process.

Judy became very rude when I was asking…
Judy became very rude when I was asking questions. She said multiple times that she’d never do a first time home buyer wrong and that’s just what she did. She began to not disclose all the information that was needed. She told me to ask ANY and ALL questions I tried doing that and she was too busy to answer them. She then ignored my messages. Made comments like, “how will you pay for your mortgage?” Very disrespectful.

Hi Mikayla, Thank you for taking the time to bring this to our attention. Customer service is a top priority for Homebridge, so we're sorry to hear about your experience. A member of our team will be reaching out to learn more about your experience.

Very upset and disappointed
Myrissa randomly stops emailing you after telling you she’ll get back to you. I emailed her twice after that just in case she forgot about me. Obviously she couldn’t help me, but it would have been great to be told that so I could go look for someone else to help me. I’m desperately trying to move so I can finish my education so it’s very disappointing when someone takes an entire month and a half, replying sporadically, and then just drops you without letting you know.

The agents that I spoke with Ms
The agents that I spoke with Ms. Snow(8997) didnt seem knowledgeable with what she was doing and abruptly hanged up the phone after taking my bank details in the sense on making my mortgage payment. Also I called again and spoke with Ms. Berry (485770), she was very knowledgeable and the payment went smooth. The problem I had there was I was not given a reciept for the $1767 payment I made and now I do not no if your company is going to come back in a few days and say I didnt make any payment.

Absolutely a CRIMINAL company/ Disabled Veteran
They have reported me as delinquent even though I had a forbearance plan with them. ... Besides posting that message, the company did nothing to resolve this. The rep on the phone told me it wasn't their responsibility to inform people that get into a payment plan that they will be assessed as "delinquent" I have a high interest rate and I cant refinance due to this situation.

Hi Jose, I apologize if your account has been reported delinquent in error. I have sent a request for additional information so we can review and contact you directly to address your concerns.

Would not recommend
Would not recommend. Ended up switching lenders because after two months there was still so much "miscommunication" that was going on from our originator. A true nightmare of your approved and close date will be week of such and such only to find out our information had not even been submitted. Judy D and Christine M were the only ones that were actually honest and upfront and willing to give us information. In the end our originator would not even respond to our emails.

Hi Christine, Thank you for taking the time to bring this to our attention. Customer Service is a top priority for Homebridge, so we're sorry to hear about your negative experience. We will share your comments with our leadership in hopes of improving our service moving forward.

Ordinarily this would be a glowing…
Ordinarily this would be a glowing review. It can't be a glowing review today. Back in June or July a couple of things happened to me one of them was that I got sick with this here virus and the next thing was that my partner died from Covid19. I had been in touch with my mortgage company early about another matter and of course they were very helpful. I was given the information about the Care's program and how it could help me with my mortgage during these times. I was given the opportunity to be in forbearance until I could get back on my feet again. I was also given info on the options that I could be considered for once this hardship is ended. I've been getting letters from Hombridge that don't match my situation. The first letter was for military persons and I was told to ignore that one. I get a letter the other day from homebridge telling me that I did not qualify for a disaster relief. I never applied for disaster relief. I have been told that once I came out of forbearance then I could be considered for a partial claim. The letter that I got telling me that I was not eligible for disaster relief does not mention covid19 or the cares act anywhere. I called Homebridge on September 17th and September 18th and I was told that this letter is a denial for me to receive partial claim assistance. The letter does not say anything about partial claim or covid-19 or the CARES ACT. I'm on the phone now awith Chelsea and I'm being told that they have mailed a letter today that informs me that I am not qualified for partial claim because I previously received one. I don't recall that because I didn't know what a partial claim is before now. Oh my goodness! I think I've been hung up on. I keep saying hello and no response. I've been on the phone for 45 minutes. She couldn't even read the letter that is supposed to be for today. I asked her to read what it says and she put me on hold to find someone and she didn't come back. Phone just hung up. I'm worried. I have heard stories about people losing their home because of these kinds of communication problems. I feel helpless. I need help. President Trump and administration said the mortgage companies would understand and be helpful. I feel like I am gonna lose because this is a mess.

Frustrating service
Dealing with Homebridge has been extremely frustrating. We have repeatedly had to redo documentation that we to provided because our Homebridge agent did not tell us exactly what was needed. We have had to go back to our bank multiple times for the same information because each time we submit it there are further things needed for the same documentation. If you want frustrating service, go with homebridge, otherwise find someone that knows and tells you exactly what they need the first time.

My loan origination was fine
My loan origination was fine. I was told I could recast or modify the loan once I sold my home. I have spent countless hours being hung up on, email procedure unanswered. The most horrid customer experience ever encountered. Can’t blame Covid 7 months in. Fraud.

I was put on Forbearance with out my permission. This has caused unending trouble for me. I have asked as of July 27 2020, for a letter explain that I did not request to be placed on Forbearance, and that I have made my mortgage payments on time. I not received that letter as of yet even though I was told by several of you associates in several department, that the letter was written and faxed to the number I provided. I was to receive the letter once on August 4th and then again on the August 10,2020. I have never received this letter and I keep getting stone walled. RUN! Run away!
Started out very informative and helpful and store our hearts. When we committed it seemed like nothing went right. Extremely incompetent and we felt we were fixing errors on their end. Communication was a chain of people and passed on to someone new multiple times. Everything was always expected from us yesterday but then would take several days to get back to us. I assumed this was a stressful process especially during Covid, but nothing seemed to go right until the closing day. And even then, it was always uneasy on how things would go. Very disappointed and wish I did more research
