One of the worse Morgage companies…
One of the worse Morgage companies ever. The reps don’t know what they are doing. They have a attitude with you over the phone and they lie about information with your account. I’m seeking legal advice to confirm the information Home bridge reps tell me. Worse experience ever I wish My account wasn’t transferred to this company.

Don't use HomeBridge
Don't use HomeBridge! They will sell you any loan and immediately turn around and sell it to Cenlar, which is horrible to deal with! They sold my loan just weeks after closing on a new home build. Save your time and frustration!

They sold our loan to another servicer… Lies!
They sold our loan to another servicer that is shady and has terrible reviews after promising they NEVER transfer loans! We trusted them and this has been a nightmare! I pray it doesnt get worse!

Broken Promises
I will start with I thought I did my homework and I see all the fabulous service others received; our story doesn't end fabulous nor was the experience fabulous or even Good! I never do reviews; but I'm hoping by doing this someone will not go through the stress and hoop jumping we did with the lender in Knoxville Tennessee. So beware! We had to jump through more hoops; because the lender was over zealous and promised when he pre approved us he could get us approved! We were trying for USDA and I did not know all the requirements and trusted the lender. There was a delay in the processing department of 3 weeks; again the lender blaming and pointing fingers at everyone else. Phone conversations were stressing; as if he couldn't be bothered to explain things. We had to send pay stubs every week. He must have spent what seemed like 3 weeks trying to get a "computer approved", because we were told that was less of a headache. IDK; for who? It seemed the only time he called, he had an issue or problem. Our closing came and went! The biggest issue in the end was this lender counted on things that in the beginning he never asked for; never said "hey we might need your pay stubs from previous employer, if they can't be reached" some thing a 20 year seasoned lender should have had one notion of; in my opinion! Bottom line we never got approved by USDA because, frankly speaking, we shouldn't have gotten pre approved to begin with. We didn't get ALL the criterias for USDA. There's alot of details omitted or reason, however I Hope that others do their homework. And take away whatever from our experience. Obviously, we didn't get the house!

Would not recommend
The worst loan experience I’ve ever had. Miscommunication, misinformation, and more. Plus their mobile site is awful and the statements never work. When I call in people are rude or they don’t have any idea and then transfer you to the wrong department. Definitely going to refinance away from this loan

Absolute Garbage
Absolute Garbage. they couldn't spell my name correctly, Very unprofessional on the phone, they sent documents that were illegal for them to send (meaning they would send realtor documents) wouldn't answer questions. They made it seem like we were an inconvenience when we would ask any kind of question. There were so many mistakes by the time the documents made it to us and we were the ones catching the mistakes.

Our house was damaged during Hurricane…
Our house was damaged during Hurricane Harvey. We accepted the forebearance and subsequent Loan Modification process, and were guaranteed there would be no negative credit reporting. We have never been late on any payments. I found out they reported 3 derogatory late payments and it has dropped my score by 100 points. I have never had a late payment on my entire 25 year credit report history. This company will destroy your credit due to their incompetent staff. BEWARE.

Stay Away!
I was promised a nice low payment to refinance with HomeBridge, so i did. I had a new low payment for about 4 months than I get hit with an increase of $600 a month! They said they had used a low tax amount which was not even close to what I actually pay in taxes but I signed so it’s my fault. They will pull a fast one over you to get your loan and than hang you out to dry, please stay away from HomeBridge financial.

This is the worst company I have dealt…
This is the worst company I have dealt with in my life. I was new here and did not have a lot of information dealing with such companies. I also was new to buy a house. They waste my time, my effort and they change their words with me many times through their representative. I lost the government help of $3000 or more because of their mistakes in contacting the government representatives. When I tried to tell them about what the mistakes they had done, they are very good in playing around using dishonest words Do not deal with this company in Orlando any more. I will never never forget this bad experience in my life

I am far from a pleased client and have had the most stressful time of my life with homebridge financial services. The way this whole thing has been conducted, from beginning to end, has been a mess and has been full of lies. I cannot believe they conduct a company this way, or are still in business. I am set to close on my new purchase on Friday with this "company" and I am going to start over with a new company tomorrow, because this has been the most frustrating, most dishonest company and transaction I have ever had to deal with in my entire life! I do not encourage anyone to go with this company, or put your faith or trust into a company such as this. They will tell you one things, and turn around and do a completely different thing, they will throw in hidden fees with out telling you and try to put you at a higher rate than you should be in. They will illegally pull your credit, even if you mark DO NOT RUN MY CREDIT on the application. I sure hope this will detour someone else from making the same mistake I did!! They will also try to tell you things that you apparently "said" and make it out to believe that this is all your fault! GO TO ANOTHER COMPANY!!!!!

Nothing but issues from day 1
Nothing but issues from day 1. I have been provided so many wrong answers or conflicting answers to questions when I call. I have absolutely resorted to email that way I have documentation. Something here also is if I do send an email asking legit important questions they can't even answe all the questions. So when you reply asking again about the question they didn't answer they're like we need 24-48 hours to respond to your emails. Well if they would have just answered it in the first email there wouldn't be issues. I don't know if they have temps working for them that don't really know what they're doing or what but it has become increasingly unbearable and I have been with them for almost two and a half years. They have said they have not received emails that have said they have not received documentation when I clearly have record that all this was sent They also harassed me when I applied for the FEMA forbearance. I have also resorted to CCing a family member to prove to harassment and lack of documentation on their behalf so I have proof that it's not just me. I can't even look at my loan online. They've made charges on my account that they said would not be charged and when I complained about it I finally get a statement showing it's all been credited whereas if I didn't complain it probably would have been left on my account. It's come to a point that I'm under a lot of emotional distress and aggravation over this. I could never imagine me being this way at work. I take pride in my job but that is obviously not the case at this company. To loise so much information and documentation and not know how to answer simple questions.

Unsatisfied customer!!!
Over the past 5 or 6 months the customer service is HORRIBLE!!! I was given false information dealing with hurricane Irma which put me behind on my mortgage for the first time in 5 YEARS!! I’ve had to call and talk to a different rude person several times a month about not being able to log into my account and make a payment, and today I spoke to the supervisor “Danielle #561” because the rep was rude and her attitude was worse than the first representative!! It’s February 1st, I’ve been trying to log in to make a payment for the past week and I can’t log in, I’ve called in several times to speak to someone and the wait time is HORRIBLE!! The supervisor hung the phone up on me and I haven’t been able to talk to anyone since! I still have not made my payment, and I still can’t log in on the computer! The first agent said my account was not locked, but I’m still unable to get in!! It must have been some sort of change because I’ve never had a problem with Homebridge before now! I am so frustrated right now! I would love to speak to someone other than the supervisor Danielle 561...that’s probably a made up name anyway!

Misleading
I was misled by Roger Hartley on numerous occasions that my loan was going to be and had been approved. I have created a timeline of the events, which outlines the details of what Roger expressed to me and how he led me to believe that my loan would be going through. On November 8th, 2017, Roger issue me a pre-approval letter to submit with my offer on 524 Water Street, Haverhill, MA, which was accepted the following day. On January 5th, 2018, which was my second extension and deadline for written commitment, Roger provided me with a letter under contingency that my students loans were amortized. It also stated that we would be ready to transfer title within one or two weeks I have fulfilled their request and changed my loan payment schedule to be fully amortized. Due to his incompetence and negligence, I was notified on January 16th, 2017 that my financing had been denied after having to extend my purchase three times from my original closing date of December 18th, 2017. Throughout this prolonged process, I have complied with HomeBridge’s requests multiple times to provide documentation as well as pay down additional debt consisting of making an early payment for my student loan, car payments and credit cards. This was done on the assurance from Roger that this was all that was needed for my loan approval. In addition to this, prior to Christmas, HomeBridge requested conference calls with each of my loan providers in order to confirm information. At this time, HomeBridge had the opportunity to have any and all of their questions regarding my debt obligations answered. In the days prior to my closing date, HomeBridge sent me a new list of items that I needed to comply with and I tried to the best of my ability to fulfill them. There were items requested that I have provided to Roger as early as the beginning of November. Over the past three months, there are plenty of opportunities for Roger to carefully review and confirm my information before issuing me with a pre-approval and loan approval letter that HomeBridge would ultimately deny.

WORST EVER!!!!
Never get a call back when told to. Went thru Loss Mitigation to get help lowering payments, in the end, after a year and a half of constant phone calls (EVERY WEEK!) my payments went HIGHER!! Never a call back or follow thru with the company! Worst EVER mortgage company!!!!!!! Still waiting 5 months later for my copy of documents that were to be sent right back to me!!!!!

An absolute nightmare
An absolute nightmare. Took 7 months to settle, had to pay for 9 of the 11 contract extensions and was not reimbursed for any of them. Poor communication and rude, argumentative, inefficient people added to the negative experience. This was not my first house purchase but I have never been treated like this by any lender before! Definitely would not recommend.

HomeBridge Financial Services, Inc - Worse Experience Ever
If you are looking to purchase a home, please go to a community bank and save your self a headache. Four Months now and we're not getting any closer to close the loan. Christmas is not looking good for my 2 kids and wife. Apparently, is not enough getting an abusive mortgage rate with a perfect credit score & history and an excellent source of income with paystub and taxes paid, having my family sleeping in the company warehouse and office for a few days with the cold weather, and now in a hotel spending unnecessary money because of all of you incompetent work.

The month hadn’t ended and they sold my loan to Fannie Mae, which has abysmal consumer scores. I am ill thinking about supporting Fannie Mae and Homebridge should be ashamed about selling their consumers out. Remember, many blame Fannie Mae for the mortgage crisis and recession. Items that super charged economic inequality in our country, wrecked an entire generation’s growth and caused massive foreclosures. It sounds like there may be some confusion regarding the Fannie Mae notice that is normally sent out by HomeBridge. FannieMae is the owner of the loan and they require HomeBridge to send notices to advise that they own your loan. But HomeBridge is the servicer unless your loan has been transferred to another mortgage company. And if it has been transferred, the new mortgage company is the servicer. From start till end I had hard time …
From start till end I had hard time figuring out my exact closing costs - yes, I received the estimate but I never got the final exact amount until few hours before closing. Also, there were some charges (totaling over $1000) that on the HUD said optional but Homebridge made me mandatory to get them. I feel like I am robbed. Overall closing cost was much higher than my previous similar closings (I buy residential rental property regularly - atleast one a year). I never paid such a high closing costs in any of my previous properties. Not recommending to anyone or never using them again.

HomeBridge = A Terrible and Unacceptable Experience
Dealing with HomeBridge has been extraordinarily difficult and profoundly stressful. HomeBridge's customer service is breathtakingly terrible. Throughout my ongoing battle with HomeBridge, various representatives ignored questions and e-mails; refused to answer questions and provide information; refused to provide documentation; and repeatedly acted in such a way so as to totally undermine my confidence that they were attempting to service my account in good faith--for example, for weeks HomeBridge told me that they had never received an appraisal which they deemed required to close my account; when I independently contacted the appraisal company, they told me they sent the appraisal to HomeBridge nearly two weeks prior and that HomeBridge had even sought modifications to the appraisal! Despite all of this, the most astonishing problem that I encountered was that no one I spoke to knew what they were doing. I received conflicting information all the time; not only from different representatives, but from the same representative(s) at different times. Rather than do things properly, or find out what properly needed to be done, it seemed they would simply make something up; and then when that was completed and I wanted to move forwarded, they made something else up. I would always find myself at "square one". When everyone refused to answer my questions, provide me with the documents I wanted, or take the action I was asking them to take, they passed me off to HomeBridge's attorney--who promptly refused to answer any of my questions! I've never felt so disrespected, and it disgusts me that so much of my money and my home is tied to this company; a company that, aside from not wanting to deal with me--the consumer--apparently has no interest in properly servicing my account. If you are having problems with this company, know that you can submit complaints to the federal government's Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the process is all easy and online. If you believe an error has occurred, they may ignore you, but they cannot ignore the law, and they must investigate the error by law if you submit a "Notice of Error". This must be sent by CERTIFIED MAIL to this address: HomeBridge Financial Services, Inc. PO Box 100050 Kennesaw, GA 30156-9202 Attn: Customer Service Also, if you want documents or information and they refuse or ignore you, they cannot by law ignore a formal request called a "Qualified Written Request", which must be submitted in writing, to the same address above, by certified mail.

Horrible experience.
Horrible experience.. I was a first time home buyer and loan officer was not informative at all, had to get information and answers from another source. They missed a couple of deadlines and prolonged the deal for month's.. I was pushed to the back burner and realtor had to take over to close the deal.. not to mention money was taken from my I escow account to pay fees without knowing to who and for how much.... wouldn't recommend to my family...
