So they advertise right on the main page if they “can’t find you the best rates they give you $200” well they didn’t find me anything at all! Pretty disappointing 😑

Hard to communicate
Hard to communicate, approvals are guided by ridiculous standards. It can never ever help any person with high debt and low fico. Very unreasonable standartds for people who needs a break......now in addition to your response to my first review, first of all, it WAS NOT you or any financing company that approved me! It was was a bank. It was only for 3k which was not even enough to tide me over.! And has no affiliation with you whatsoever!!!! If your standards weren’t so geared on making money by basing the INTEREST YOU IMPUGN ON LOW SCORING FICO AND HIGH DEBT TO INCOME RATIO APPLICANTS! Then we would be in a more stable condition. You and your sort who pretend to help people in desperate situations like us ARE NO DIFFERENT THAN THESE PREDATORY LENDERS WHO RAPE OUR ECONOMIC WELL BEING BY MILKING THE VERY LAST PENNY WE HAVE!!!!! Poor service
They only provided a quote from one company. I sent emails 3 times with questions and they never replied. To be honest, I’m still not sure if this is a legitimate business

Lacking Credibility...
Online platform is easy to use and streamlined; however, customer service is non-existent. Unfortunately, service is required for any mortgage product. Rates, terms and cash required from Credible estimate vs actual loan estimate from Lender (Quicken) were way off - in a bad way. Required five days to get a response, which didn't address any of my concerns, and admittedly the loan officer was equally confused given rates were decreasing. Another four days elapsed and I received an apologetic note and asked if I would like to continue. I responded Yes but I needed a corrected LE within 24 hours because Credible was delaying everything... three days and still no response. Within 24 hours of receiving the incorrect LE from Credible / Quicken, I received two loan estimates from different lenders with better rates and less cash to close. Furthermore, the loan officers responded to all questions within a couple hours. Save your time and energy and go elsewhere. Better yet, skip the broker (Credible) and just go straight to the lenders.

Shady marketing practices. They sent me a letter that was disguised as a check/W2 and didn't even manage to spell my name right. If I was in the market to refi I would do that on my own. I don't need garbage sent to my house unsolicited.

Refinance Experience w/ Credible
Requested a simple cash out refi, and was told it would take 60 days to close. Credible was working with Loan Depot for my loan. To note during this process I had readily available all of my income verification documentation, appraisal, survey, etc and any request from Loan Depot or Credible was answered within 1 day. I am now at day 110 and still have yet to be approved. Biggest problem is it apparently take Loan Depot at least 10 to 12 business days to review anything and respond (2 weeks). Also they do not appear to have an escalation process. Additionally Credible never appears to have any agents available that can answer definitively any questions (always a callback). Lastly the agents do a poor job with following up on requests, often times inquiries fall through the cracks i.e. poor operations management. I am going with local credit union while my appraisal and survey are still valid. This is ridiculous.

I used an online prequalification application. I have an 829 credit score per my results. credible said that I was not qualified due to delinquencies, length of credit and score. I have no delinquencies and my scores are all in the 800’s. My credit is also over 25 years old. I would not do business with credible or trust the results.

Worst company ever
Worst company ever. Do not try to refinance or get a mortgage through them. You won't have a direct line to your mortgage officer, to get them on the phone you have to call and wait on a main number, usually 20-30 minute hold time to be transferred. I started the refinance process in JULY and still was trying to close in October. My loan officer quit in the middle of it. Then on the day of closing they changed the terms of the loan. DO NOT USE CREDIBLE.

I've had multiple problems with Credible, from long wait times on the phone to confusion about my loan status (made me go back and forth with College Ave for no reason and this is still not resolved on your site even though I already received my loan) and a lack of response on my emails.

credible does not stand by their word. I was referred by someone who never got their referral bonus and I referred someone and they won't even answer my emails regarding this. horrible and i wish I went with another company that was more deserving.

Very long and drawn-out process for a…
Very long and drawn-out process for a home refinance. Communication with the Credible staff was marginal in the items that were being requested via email, text message and online portal. Making phone calls to the specific agent asking for the documents were impossible to do. Every call I wanted to have with the agent needed to be scheduled around their availability even though my follow-up was very timely--within minutes of recieving requests for info. The process took so long that I kept having to send in paystubs every other week because the previous expired(?). I don't recommend Credible to do your home refinance.

Kind of a waste of time
I didn’t get much help. I thought they would have given me a list of loans to refinance, so I created an account only for them to tell me that they have nothing for me. So I made an account for nothing and now I’m getting all these emails from these other 3rd parties and this is annoying. I’m sure others have had great experiences, I know my sister said she had a good experience with them. But I can’t say the same for myself unfortunately. Response to company: Oh my, can’t make a review without this company being condescending. Obviously, I know I’m correct, that’s what happened, why did I need your “validation” I would have probably been more comfortable reaching out to customer service if I wasn’t belittled. I did not even mean to bash this company at all. I just said my experience and how it didn’t work out. And I’m not seeking another loan I’m seeking refinance of old loans so that doesn’t help my situation. Maybe there was a misunderstanding, but that just did not make me comfortable at all. Again maybe others will have a better experience, so by all means they should give them a try. Personally, I think I’ll pass for now. Have a great rest of your day.
