I have a perfect credit rating.832 three bureaus.i have no bad marks and everything is upto date. I applied for personal loan maybe around 100k they came back with 10k at the worst APR Pposible 34.9999% how does this happen to someone with perfect credit. Their computer Is flawed.

Had terrible time fixing problematic…
Had terrible time fixing problematic records, where apparently my daughter selected the wrong school and took several extra weeks to correct record (many phone calls with different agents on Credible and MEFA ends to make sure right school received loan funds). Recognize mutual responsibility, and ideally would be a more efficient pathway to resolving such matters (I still have early/legacy documents with wrong institution noted, and am told no way or need to change - makes me nervous since are legal documents of record).

Credible fake filed loan application
I started a loan application via credible but decided not to complete it. Now lenders and sending me letters as if I applied for the loan. "Credible" aka Untrustworthy spammed me to finish the loan application and when I did not, they apparently applied for the loan on my behalf. This is a scam So many 5 star reviews are probably fake

Hi Neeraj - Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. Credible is an online marketplace for loans, and not a lender. When you create a pre-qualification request on our personal loans marketplace, you authorize Credible and the lenders on our site to perform a soft credit pull that will not impact your credit score. A soft credit pull involves obtaining your credit score and credit profile, including existing credit accounts, balances, etc. The emails you have received from lenders are called denial letters or "adverse action notices." Some lenders choose to treat a pre-qualification on Credible as an application and send these out if they are unable to offer rates. We certainly don't want to email anyone unnecessarily. In the account settings at credible.com, there is a button to delete your Credible account and that will absolutely end all communication from Credible. If you're receiving any sort of marketing email after you’ve unsubscribed, please forward that to [email protected] so we can review what is being sent to you. Never coming back
I wanted to refinance my student loans, but instead they took my information and applied me to several personal loans from different banks on my behalf. To my knowledge, I didn't consent to this and had to call them to delete all my personal information. The lesson here: Check that you're making an account on a website that is credible, not a website that just calls itself Credible.

Worst experience!!!
I had a terrible experience with credible. When I called, the person wasn’t the least bit helpful. I had an issue with them sending the loan money to the wrong school. If 2 schools have the same name maybe having the option of choosing the state might be good. Apparently this isn’t the first time this has happened. My daughter’s semester payment was late due to this and I started the process as soon as my daughter came home from her first semester ending. Maybe some notification would have been good since I didn’t get anything from them until 4 weeks later.

Inaccurate quotes, Horribly Inaccurate
Inaccurate quotes, horribly Inaccurate. Over a percentage point inaccurate. Inaccurate records as well. I never submitted any different information from the info that I submitted for an initial quote with Credible. When I was linked to the offer through a 3rd party company that they quoted me for it was a completely different rate.

Your application asks the wrong…
Your application asks the wrong questions or sends it incorrectly to lenders. Your application asked where i went to college. Im the parent. I called to confirm you wanted my college information. You sent that information to the lender which caused multiple delays and addition forms to get the right information

Absolutely clueless about mortgage or…
Absolutely clueless about mortgage or mortgage refinance process, took me 3 month to refinance with great difficulty. There was absolutely no communication with my agent and he and his assistant called on daily basis to get updates. Complete headache and ended up loosing the house.

The whole process was difficult and…
The whole process was difficult and confusing. At this point in time I still have no idea if the loan has gone through, if it had when it will be distributed. And still can’t long on to website. Website says I need to set up account. Put in information. It says I already have account. Type in Information it say I don’t have account. At this point customer service is non existent. Basically per generated emails say they got my emails.

Horrible
Horrible!!!!! On 9/7 I got quotes from three companies for homeowners thru young alfred. The email stated the quotes were good thru 10/31..On 10/1 I made a decision on a quote with a 1k deductable and clicked "buy this package"...I was taken to the payment screen and went thru the payment process..ok I figure all is good...great!!! NOT!! I get an email with the evidence of insurance (binder)...all the coverage amounts were same as quote except for the deductible..my quote was a 1k deductible...the evidence of insurance (binder) has a 5k deductible!!!!!!!! After two un answered emails to my "assigned agent" I called around 11am and requested a call back..no call back...at around 1pm I call again he's at lunch and will return my call...no call back..At about 2pm I call again he states was at lunch..got your emails...and his "quote team is looking into it"..he stated will get back to me by 3pm...no call back..At 5pm I call yet again...now he says "were not sure what happened" I don't know what to say and we're under staffed today...If I want to change to a 1000 deductible it will be and additional 245 per year due to rate increases ..I was like I don't want to change anything my quote that is good thru 20/31 was a 1k deductible and that's what I paid for. I went on rates change all the time but when you get a quote it's for the stated coverage (1k deductible) and quoted rate is good for a specific period of time..After he continued to keep saying we don't know what happened I don't know what to say.. blah blah blah... I chimed in to me it's simple when you sent the package to the insurance co the deductible was changed to 5k. It would have nice if this agent was a standup person rather than the usual pass the buck.."we don't know what happened" crap.. After I calmed down I called yet one more time to cancel the policy..requested an email confirmation of the cancellation..I get the email and looks like I'm being charged a $12 cancellation fee for a policy that from my perspective I never agreed too or authorized (I would never agree to a policy with a 5k deductible). Found compatible insurance elsewhere with a 1k deductible for a lesser premium than this bogus policy with the ole switcharoo Now I'll have the pleasure of having to straighten out with mortgage co...don't pay the renewal on my current ins...don't pay the billing for this bogus policy..and pay the billing for the new policy I found elsewhere that should be fun Thank you young alfred...NOT!!!!!!! I could care less of what you look into or don't what happened may be a mistake (but you'll never get me to buy into that!!)...the lack of this agent to respond to my emails and his approach to try and resolve during my phone calls (which I had to keep calling back) was atrocious)..do what you have to do...you may say this is not typical...I can only relay my experience.. Again HORRIBLE

You came to our site, prequalified for rate options, and completed a request with one of our partner lenders in July, and following use of our site we send out requests to complete a review via Trustpilot. With your selected lender, if the borrower doesn’t meet the lender’s requirements they would bump the cosigner to borrower and borrower to cosigner. Both the borrower and the cosigner are still equally responsible for the loan. Given that this is the lender’s process, we cannot directly change it, however we can certainly pass this feedback along and also help you connect with a lender’s agent who can speak about their process in more detail. If you are not satisfied with the terms the lender is offering at this time, you are under no obligation to agree to the loan and may with draw the application. This website is a scam, you get per-qualified for a low rate and then takes you to actual site that often doubles the interest rate. Do not give your information. I also find it weird all these 5 star reviews mostly have only 1 review to there history, seems fishy!

Lack of Security of sensitive information
Posting a bad review because I'm not even the account holder. Have been receiving information for someone with a similar email address. Which I emailed credible to inform them of this, and that I was getting emails intended for somebody else. And they just ignored my email. Was pretty awesome being able to see sensitive information for someone else. Top notch security right here. If you're wondering how identity theft can happen this is a great place to start.

They want to know EVERYTHING before you get anything. I am suspicious.
You have to give them all the info they want [and they want a lot!] before you get anywhere NEAR what you want to know. Bankrate.com has been easier to deal with. UPDATE: Got an automated reply telling me that lack of credit history resulted in no takers. [paraphrasing]. It occurs to me that my credit freeze on reports might have something to do with that, but they did not contact me to explain until long after, or tell me what to do to fix it in a timely manner. NOT THEIR JOB, I guess. My initial review stands: They want tons of your personal data, then when they hit a minor roadblock, they do nothing to deal with it. And I can only GUESS at what they do with what I gave them. NOT FAIR in my mind.

You'll never get the referral bonus promised
Several times a week credible asks me to refer a friend and, in return, get a $500 bonus. I did as they asked, my friend completed the process. For over a month I have been given the run around about my bonus. Constant, just wait a little longer, it'll be there within 30 days, blah blah blah. We are well past the time frame and I am still being yanked around by this BS. I have wasted so much time following up on this and now I'm infuriated. Do not bother referring anyone to this group.
