Good customer service on first phone call.....poor on every other interaction
Purchased a split level wine cooler about 5 years ago. Unit failed recently leaving my wine sat at 73 degree for a number of months. Called up to discuss with Newair and while out of warranty was offered a replacement part (not a whole wine cooler) at no cost. It was nice to be able to reach a human being within a few moments. Now what would be really great is A) if the unit hadn't failed in the first place and B) they contributed to replacing the 40 or so bottles of wine i had in there. Here is a follow up on 13th July. To date i have not received the part, i have not received a response to my email and they are not answering their phones.

My first call wasn't processed correctly. Fortunately, they reps that helped me on the second call were able help get the issue resolved.

My previous new air Stainless steal ice…
My previous new air Stainless steal ice maker broke in under a week.. I was shipped and incorrect one and charged 100 dollars. The Agent Mellissa hopefully fixed this problem

Very helpful service rep
The service rep has been really good. Waited an age for a replacement part for a defect. It never came and Newair are giving me a new appliance. Will write another review when it arrives undamaged! Maybe 5 stars for the eventual customer service.

Purchased an Avalon Bay air fryer
Purchased an Avalon Bay air fryer - September 2017. My kids are especially in love with the way it cooks French Fries! After it recently failed I contacted customer service to inquire about my options.... my email was promptly answered by Straton and he provided instructions as to how to obtain a replacement air fryer. Although disappointed that the Air Fryer didn't last very long... I am very pleased with the customer service from Newair. I am hopeful that the replacement Air Fryer lasts longer than 9 months. 3 stars because it stopped working after only 9 months but excellent Customer service since they are going to replace it.

Representative friendly and knowledgeable
My representative was very friendly and knowledgeable. She was also very prompt with responses. The only issues that I had with the process was the time limit on my response. I do understand how this can be effective in keeping the process succinct. The one suggestion I have is to provide the necessary major steps upfront, instead of sharing them as you go. I needed to provide photos the first time, and then another later. It just prolonged the process. All in all, Laurelee made the process for recall and refund credit a positive one.

Oil filled Space Heater AH-450
This heater will warm a room, but you must consider the size of the room. It is rated at 150 sq feet. Be conservative with this as the heater takes quite a bit of time to warm up spaces. There is no fan. It relies on radiant heat from the fins. I do have a concern with the battery holder on the remote. It is made of plastic and the molded plastic seems like it could easily break when you open it up to get at the battery. The remote uses a common 2032, included, button battery. Overall, I am pleased with the heater and its performance.

Now discontinued nugget ice maker leaked
Update: Newair stood by their product and offered a replacement with reasonable shipping and tax charge. Their Customer service representatives are excellent and get 5 stars. They responded quickly and were pleasant in phone conversations. Thank you! Ice maker leaked all the water out. I recently read other reviews and found that I am one of many who had the same issue. It leaks from the inside. Company said “unfortunately you are past warranty and we have discontinued your item.” No help to fix or replace the product. I felt like they just said sorry about your luck.

Vanessa has been great
Vanessa has been great both on the phone and by email. She has been attentive, understanding, and persistent in helping me resolve my issue. It is very disappointing that a company like this with a product like this, and at this price, cannot remedy this situation. There has to be some way to eliminate this odor before you sell this product to the public.

Newair Customer Support with Charles Trapp
I purchased a Newair Wine Cooler, and after four days started to hear a loud popping sound. I contacted customer support and began to have a online chat with one of Newair's support staff about my issue. I ended up with a support person named Charles Trapp, who stayed with me throughout the entire process. He requested video of the problem along with purchase details, serial and model number. I sent it to him and was asked to unplug the wine cooler, wait for 24 - 48 hours, then plug it back in and let him know if the noise had stopped. I informed him that the noise had not stopped and sent him another video with the noise. Charles had a new wine cooler sent to us to replace the defective one. Charles was helpful, easy to work with and helped turn a frustrating situation into a positive one. Based on the customer support I received from Charles, I would consider buying another product from Newair.

What an experience to make this purchase !
I was NOT able to purchase the wine coolers online 4x because of your website problem. Then I placed the order verbally with Camilla Mendez and was able to receive the 2 units. I received the ordered units within a short time. HOWEVER, your first line customer service persennel were good but they have no back up. IT TOOK ME 6 ATTEMPTS TO RECEIVE THE INVOICE TO ENABLE ME TO PURCHASE THE EXTENDED WARRANTY BECAUSE I NEVER RECEIVED IT DESPITE MULTIPLE CLAIMS OF HAVING SENT IT. Today Hillary was great and saw to it that I receive a copy of the invoice to enable me to purchase the extended warranty. It really was disappointing that I had to talk to Camilla Mendez,Laurellee A Stuart, Ionie, and Hillary (3x) to receive an email from Ingrid Ruiz with the Invoice and Extended Warranty link to CPS. Poor customer service after the initial contacts.

You responded in a good amount of time considering I emailed over a weekend. The instructions you gave in your email were incorrect for my model of countertop icemaker, however, the link to the manual was correct and I was able to find the answer to my question in that.
