This company is a total scam
This company is a total scam. When I called them to ask how to submit a claim I was put on hold for an extended period of time. The claim was for the death of the policy holder. They didn't seem to know how to process such a claim. After several calls I was finally able to determine what paperwork to submit - that was on Jan 5th. I called to follow up about a month later and was told I couldn't speak to anybody and had to use email. I got an automated reply to my email. Today a got another automated reply. I doubt I they will ever pay. Most of the positive reviews are for the process of buying a policy. Their claim process attracts mostly negative reviews. Stay away from this company

All they do is lie and say that they will cover it but they really won’t cover anything
1. I am a policy holder and i’m so disappointed that swab testing is not covered when my policy clearly states that anything related to covid is covered. I got swabbed because I was clearly not feeling well. I paid for premium to have $100,000 coverage and they can’t even pay for $100 claim. Now i’m scared to know about the visit I had with a physician which costs more. Pretty sure they’ll say it’s only pre-existing. 2. Nobody answers the phone and when someone does it’s always the rude lady who doesn’t really listen that much.

Hello. I am sorry for your disappointment and misunderstanding of your policy. Your policy clearly states that it covers TREATMENT of Covid 19 as any other condition. It does not say that it covers "anything related to Covid". A test for Covid can range in price from$100-$900 depending on where it is administered worldwide. We sell hundreds of policies daily and many are in the range of $20-$50. There is no travel insurance provider that can cover the cost of testing. If the Covid test is positive then coverage is triggered. Our insurers have paid thousands of dollars for THE TREATMENT of Covid. Again, I am very sorry for the confusion regarding coverage. If you do test positive please let us know and we will be happy to assist you with your claim. PS I will review your email with all claims staff and remind them to "listen" and respond in a polite manner.

I purchased Trawick International's…Safe Travels USA Cost Saver
I purchased Trawick International's Safe Travels USA Cost Saver Plan insured by Co-Ordinated Benefit Plans (CBP) through a broker Insubuy.com. The coverage date is from 8/1/2020 - 2/28/2021. I started to have shortness of breath and back pain problems since 12/10/2020 and visited a doctor on 1/29/2021. He sent me to take blood test and X-rays for medically necessary diagnosis. I have provided all the documents and medical records to CBP. I received an EOB form online this week, which showed the $383 claim from the medical provider for X-ray image reading cannot be covered, because the service was not a covered benefit under my plan, which was an error. Having contacted the medical provider to verify that they sent the correct claims to CBP, I believed CBP and Trawick have violated the federal and state regulations and their own policy. I called in their claims department for help, but the female agent (only one) behaved rudely, refused to explain in detail, and hanged up my phone for many times. I tried to call their claims department several times during the entire claiming process for clarification, but all the time I just ended up getting hanged up or could not getting any useful information. They also pointed that there is no way to escalate or talk with the manager. I have also contacted Trawick International for assistance but they only kicked the ball to CBP claims department. The rest of the claims submitted by medical providers are also still pending and were not paid to medical providers in a timely fashion, in a total amount of $1493.45 according to the information provided by CBP. In conclusion, this has been a terrible experience for me, and I won't purchase any insurance plan like this anymore. They have the low cost plans available, and the policies seems fascinating, but there are so many problems in regard to claims. Although I didn't expect I can get the good customer service or guarantee in relatively low cost, but they are trying to find whatever they can to refuse your legitimate claims, and the customer service don't do anything for helping customers. I used to think some of the reviews on Trustpilot or Google are just one-sided or prejudiced, but now I hope my review can be seen by as many people as possible. Thanks for your review.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Been dealing with this company for a month. I bought the Insurance required for travel to Costa Rica. The price was 50% less than all the others. I’m so glad I purchased so far in advance because I noticed the travel dates were wrong, and spent two weeks every day calling, emailing, requesting a call back, and attempting to chat all to no avail. I FINALLY got a call back to say my dates were changed and new docs were sent, unfortunately I never received the required documents and had to purchase an entirely new insurance plan. I have personally heard two separate stories of claims that needed to be submitted for medical care in Costa Rica and the claim was denied. I honestly don’t think this company is even legit and I know for a fact they pay TripAdvisor for positive reviews which is disturbing.

I purchased Safe Travels USA for me…
I purchased Safe Travels USA for me and my family however, due to the pandamic I dicided to cancel my trip to USA. Therefore, I've sent a refund request to their email and hence the policy start date is not yet due and according to the policy I should get full refund with a penalty of 25$. I'm surprised that the company has not reached me at all not even with an email saying that they have received my email! I've sent them 2 more emails with no response! It's really worrying when dealing with such company.

This Insurance company is a scam and fraud company. Not only that, they willfully flag users' reviews so that they get removed. I am posting this a second time after learning that they flagged it for removal. What chutzpah! I purchased health insurance for my parents visiting from India. Unfortunately, one of them had to be admitted to the hospital for a procedure, which was sudden and unexpected. It has been months and this insurance company has denied all payments on the false pretext of a pre-existing condition. Even though, I also have coverage of pre-existing condition for acute onset. There is an outstanding bill of $75,000+ from the hospital and they have denied every single of the bills from the hospital. They will burden you with a mountain of paperwork and then deny every one of the claims. Stay away from them. They are scammers!

This company is dreadful
This company is dreadful, and I would never use them again. I had reason to make a claim in Jan '21. It was never processed and many, many calls, messages and emails were never responded to. When I went to the hospital and handed in the treatment card they provided, it was rejected and I had to pay in cash. Beware.

I'm in Kenya developing something and I'm a single mom. I had to bring both my kids with as I am both mother and father to them. I cannot use this insurance ANYWHERE. I will be contacting my bank to receive a refund. Nobody answers the phone and the email is useless. Scam. Run like hell.

This insurance paid out our claim for medical accident and trip interruption within about two months, without giving us any hassle at all. I would buy again. It's hard to get hold of anyone and communication on claims is not very good but it's hard to argue with an > $2000 injury pay out in a reasonable about of time.

Price was good, service not.
Price was good, payout not. Our luggage was damaged by the flight carrier, Delta. They do not cover wheels or handles which is crazy when they broke it. I filed a claim with trawick. They asked for ridiculous documentation including original recipient of the luggage. Who has that? Police report? What? For a wheel? Flight tickets, and so much documentation for a small item. Forget it. Will not use them again.

Stay away from this company: FRAUD AND SCAMMERS
I bought the Safe travels insurance for my parents who visited in 2020, The bill have not been paid since November and they keep denying the claims stating the medical records from patient has not been received even after I sent them, and had the clinic email the records to them directly. Looks like it is a Scam company.

Do Not buy this insurance and save yourself headache
All I can say do not buy this insurance, for months trying to get my check , they have excuse after excuse, it is hard to get hold of them. when they communicate you do not see people's name. I have had hard time with them.their web site they never put m claim on their web site. I never ever will go near them.

Insurance scam
Basically they are an travel insurance scam. They will deny all claims. My flight was canceled because of pilot shortage and the airlines would not rebook a flight. Trawick said it’s not in there policy and they would not cover our insurance policy. All insurance is a scam.

My opinion in one word: SCAM INSURANCE
I wish I've read this reviews before purchasing! I agree with mostly everyone here... If I had to use 1 word to state my opinion about this insurance is SCAM. The policy is ambiguous and unclear and they will always interpret it to their benefit. Please don't waste your money with the "comprehensive" insurance, because it is not.

Do not use this insurance provider! The policies are extremely misleading - I did not receive any reimbursement for having to quarantine in a hotel due to Covid-19 infection as the insurance only covers a delay on the way to or from your trip, not during it. Even worse, Trawick employees told me I would be able to easily claim back the money when I called them during quarantine, which was incorrect and they then took over 2 months to respond to my claim.

This is a scam. All sounds amazing and they are super helpful until you pay for your insurance. After that, they won't reply to your contacts and in my case all chats I have tried to start (while they state they are live) have been closed down automatically). This company should be closed down.

100% SCAM / FRAUD
Totally a scam. The customer service is helpful until you get your insurance. But if you actually need to activate it to pay for expenses, they won’t reply to any messages. There are supposed to be live chats, but they’re closed down immediately. The price is just to low to be true after all… STAY AWAY 😡

BUYER BEWARE!!! I wish I could give zero stars!! They take your money really easily and happily when you buy the insurance. But if you need to file a claim it’s next to impossible. Even if you manage to get your paperwork submitted, you will NEVER hear back from them. You will be forced to call multiple times and be on hold for hours. Only to be told that you are in the line to be reviewed but they are very behind. Finally I found a woman’s email address on linkedin that worked for the company and emailed her after a month of no reply after submitting my paperwork from a trip that I couldn’t take because of new vaccination requirements by the country that I was traveling to. There were 3 weeks notice by the country of their policy changing before my trip. Even If I wanted to get vaccinated (I don’t!! I HAD covid already) I would never have had time to get two shots and have a two week waiting period. Finally after threatening giving bad reviews (which I’m doing anyway) they sent me a response. That they aren’t covering my trip. Meanwhile I bought the more expensive comprehensive covid policy. But they found a loophole and said THAT specific reason wasn’t listed so too bad for me. So now I’m out $5000 for my trip, PLUS the trip insurance money. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. SCAM SCAM SCAM.

We wish we could put 0 stars, like others have posted on this site, we too have had the same experience, that is Trawick International through InsureMyTrip.com will easily take your money to sell a plan, however if a claim is involved they will not respond period. They will not return calls if you leave a message, they will leave you on hold, not pick up and they do not respond to emails. We have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. BUYER BEWARE! UPDATE: I finally received a response from Insure My Trip and Trawick. Although I did not get the amount I thought was in the policy I got a check. WHICH WAS BETTER THEN NOTHING. Going forward I will only fly direct and get my policy directly from the airline or cruiseline AND check TRUSTPILOT FIRST>

I wish I could give zero stars. I purchased “covid insurance”. I paid a premium for that. As it turns out Turks and Caicos forbid us going to the country at the last minute because of vaccination policy. There was nothing we could have done about it And you didn’t cover it. WHAT A SCAM!!!! And your customer service is HORRIBLE. I lost over FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS BECAUSE OF YOUR “LOOPHOLES”. I cannot begin to tell you how much I HATE YOUR COMPANY and will make it my life mission to let everyone know.
