Our experience with Tyrone has been the absolute worst experience in my life. Going into this home search as a 1st time home buyer made us not even wanting to purchase a home anymore. They started out pre-qualifing us for a loan knowing that we couldn't afford it. And every home we found, there was an issue with our report. Even though they had all of our records, they never said anything was wrong until contracts were about to be signed. And let's not talk about they way his team communicate with us; every time I called him personally, his attitude was very rude. He doesn't want u calling him but when he calls u, he tries to be polite..After allowing them to talk me into doing whatever the hell he so called tried to do, my credit score dropped 90 points and now I don't have a home to move into.

Bad! Bad! Bad!!! I’m so incredibly disappointed with the service this company provided, Go somewhere else unless you want to lose money!!! They screwed me up twice... Now I’ve to pay MORE THAN 5K in fees (see attached pic for proof) for a mistake they have already made once before. I’m a first-time homeowner and ended up buying two houses with the help of Julie Jackson as my financial advisor. After numerous confirmations from her that the HOA of the second house will be paid together with the monthly mortgage... Later I found out that wasn’t the case and I've unpaid HOA bills + $500 in late fees. I let Julie know and I asked her to confirm that the first house wouldn’t have the same problem and she told me not to worry and everything was alright. Fast forward a few months later I received a mailed letter of a whole year worth of HOA bills + $5,415.66 for the late fee for a mistake she could've prevented already. Imagine what mistakes she could make with such important purchases such as your loan etc.

DON'T TRUST THEM!! Especially Rafael
Terrible company! Rafael is a freaking joke!! Please use another company! Reviews are as accurate as they can be! When I say Rafael is a joke.. he’s JOKE!!! Poor communication!!! Multiple errors in their end!! A 20,000.00 mistake and all he wants to do is blame it on a system!! Then says what you wanna do, either you got the money or you don’t….. Terrible company and Terrible branch manager! Please go elsewhere!! Admitted delays by his staff in sending over paper work in a timely fashion! Just not a great experience and the fact that he was rude and cussed me out once I called the company on their bs.. said he has a clear mind and heart and that he sleeps well at night! Really great that you all have some one in place that is so unprofessional! And that takes pleasure in screwing people over!

Such a disappointing first time "home buying" experience!!! If you want to succeed in getting your dream home look for another lender. You will not be a priority and will get unaccounted information from the start. You will over pay for a subpar experienced professional with Carlos. Do your homework a little better than I did.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Milton found out we were two females on disability and proceeded to string us along without actually helping me, not responding to phone calls, text messages, or emails. Eventually ghosting us altogether. I switched to elend and had a pre qual in less than 24 hours, after wasting two and a half weeks of our time with Milton. Made me pay on student loans, elend said was unnecessary, costing me extra money I don't have during a very expensive process. I feel discriminated against, being a female, on disability, and I think he thought we were in a relationship. But I'll never know because he won't call me back.

For my part they don’t deserve a star they are the worse company ever I had been with them since 2019 on my two kids it’s the worse I call them over 100 times and in order for me to find out wats going on I had to go outside using my military accountant to find wat am looking for my mortgage raise from 1235 to 1668 in one year and asking them they told me it’s the taxes yes I understand but they also told me it will go back to 1300 in April two representatives told me that and they r very unprofessional and they sell my mortgage to some other company but I was in the process of kicking them to the cub please all military soldier put on your running shoes they are the worse mortgage company. I will never recommend them to do one instead they did me a huge favor by selling my mortgage I have two other houses one in New York snd the other in Pa and I never had a problem with them for the past 20 years Homebridge is no good bad company stay away please👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼😡😡

Poor Customer Service
I have been trying to talk to a representative regarding my escrow account for 4 weeks! There is no person to talk to live when I dial their customer service number. Via their website chat portal I was told a representative would call me on 5 separate occasions. Still have not heard back.

Homebridge reported late payment to…
Homebridge reported late payment to credit company and it has prevented me from getting financing. It is the ONLY negative report on my entire credit and I would like it removed immediately. Due to Homebridge canceling my auto draft at the time they were selling my mortgage to Freedom. Homebridge screwed this up and did not inform me of the transition.

This was a terrible experience for me
This was a terrible experience for me. I told Roy in the beginning of the process that this process was new to me and was very anxiety provoking. He never answered my phone calls, he would never return my phone calls. Everything was via email which may be satisfactory to some, but I wanted a personal touch. My insurance agent was ignored by him as well. If you need a little guidance and TLC this is not the place to go!!

I am being charged twice my original…
I am being charged twice my original mortgage payment because this company paid the wrong insurance company twice. I am supposed to be paying 415 but my payment is 815. I had to fix the issue and get the refunds back from the insurance company. After I got the money back and sent to refunds back to Homebridge to place into my escrow account they still have not lowered my payment. They refuse to perform an escrow analysis until 12 months have passed. So am I stuck paying them an extra 400 dollars for the next year? I never authorized them to pay that other company and the never checked with me. Just because a company sent them a bill they just paid it with MY MONEY.

Never again !!! In the beginning they were great
In the beginning they were great. Then about 6 months in they started misapplying payments then trying to charge fees for them. Saying I couldn't use the online service due to their mistakes, forcing me to have to mail in payments, so they could say it was late and they have no control over the mail. I mail payments in about a month in advance and still have to call to see why they aren't applied. I get different answers from every rep that picks up the phone. I have to call EVERY month because they misapply funds even if a send a letter with break down of how funds should be disbursed. I ask for call back from supervisors who then note the account that they have called and I offered to pull my phone records to prove that they HAVE NOT! They make my payment go up then say it was due to tax increase when I send them a letter as proof that tax has not increase then they say it was insurance. Called the insurance company they tell me they have no increase. I find out it was all because they miscalculated the cost of the taxes and wasn't charging me enough. So now my payment is soo much higher trying to catch up. I am a 1st time home buyer I am a elderly woman with a daughter with 2 medically complexed children. This company has and continues to make my experience a total nightmare.

Lack of patience
Brian was recommended to us as the “go-to” person. Brian lacked patience with us being first time home buyers. I gave him the benefit of the doubt since our first conversation was on a Saturday. That following Tuesday he cut me off mid question saying “Well, if you let me finish” after asking him something because the process is confusing. I went with someone else at Movement Mortgage and they were an absolute pleasure to work with. If the patience isn’t going to be there, don’t bother. Shows how $$ is more important.

Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. Either bad management or dumb employees. They lose docs, the dont follow through. I've been requesting a document form them for 4 months now. No one seems to be able to follow through to deliver it to me. Cant get them on the phone, dont respond to emails.

I/we refinanced last year with…
I/we refinanced last year with Homebridge. I have not missed a payment or been late with a payment. A letter dated March 17, 2021 I received about hazard insurance. Another letter dated April 16, 2021 was sent to me saying I/we owe $121.00 (which has gone up since). I pay my mortgage, money goes into escrow for my insurance and taxes for Homebridge to pay out. I was told it had to do with insurance rates going up. I shouldn’t have to pay out extra money because the insurance rates went up. To me that should be a projected out look Homebridge should have when calculating and paying my insurance. My husband is a 20 years veteran and we live on a fixed income. Finally owning a home was our dream. We refinanced with Homebridge to get a better APR. I feel we are being taken advantage of. When I/we can afford to I usually pay extra on my mortgage payments. This happened back in March 2021 in which you say we was not covered for 15 days. We now have a new insurance and Homebridge have paid them in full for the year. My question is why (if we was not covered those 15 days in March) should we be responsible for Homebridge shortage in paying our previous insurance bill? Homebridge say the money is not in escrow to cover that. I/we didn’t write the contract. We just signed what was put before us and explained to us. I can’t find where it said we are responsible for shortages. I/we are disputing the $121.00 charge.

stopping me from selling my home
I have refinanced through this company a couple times, I was supposed to close on my home Monday. Homebridge has 2 liens on my home one which is illegal and have refused to release it from a 2 year old refinance. Not being able to close will cost me a substantial amount of money I can’t afford. i’ve called them many times and they refuse to let me talk to anyone that can help me. I will be filing a lawsuit on monday. This is something they can take care in one day and refuse to. It’s a stab in the back.

Frank is THE WORST
My father and I worked with home bridge. They did our pre approval, Frank Marini is a very rude person. We ended up going with a different mortgage company and when Frank became aware he called me upset and “disappointed” in me. I apologized that my communication was not clear. I can take blame there. But he was rude and unprofessional. He lectured me as if I had an obligation to pick homebridge despite the fact the interest rate they offered was higher than the other company. Frank threatened to call the realtor and take away our pre approval letter. At this point he crossed boundaries and was clearly being disrespectful. I informed him that we didn’t need his pre approval. We have fantastic credit scores and before I could mention we have the money for a down payment Frank hung up on me. He was completely rude and out of line. I won’t ever work with homebridge or any companies related to them because of the lack of professionalism from this person.
