Bikes are great; Service is stellar!
Bikes are great and the service is stellar! My wife and I went in looking for bikes for ourselves and our 14 year old son. We ended up buying bikes for the three of us and our 9 year old daughter. The bikes are amazing and a great value. We were worried that the price would be a bit high because we were buying in EDH, but the pricing was fairly priced. We received excellent service from Scott, Delaney, and Justin. They brought up great points and we really felt like they were setting us up for the future. Great shop! Thanks for everything.

If I could give 4.5 Stars that’s where I’d rate them! Service has always been great and knowledgeable and the only reason I didn’t give them 5Stars, is because I’m a little she-she and they don’t ways have the she-she stuff I’m looking for. 😁

I'd like to thank Scott, Patrick and Delaney for their help with the purchase of my new Trek Roscoe 8. It really turned out to be the best choice for me amongst allot of competition. Bike service could not set the bead on…
Bike service could not set the bead on my tire, they told me my rim was scuffed and that was why it wouldn’t take ...they went on to say I needed a new rim ?? I told the service guy I was trying to save time by having them put my tubes in, and that now I will have to go home and finish the job. I paid $10 for labor per tire + $8 per tire got tubes... $36 dollars plus tax. I waited for 25 minutes for two tubes install, and they still didn’t do it right. I left dissatisfied and went home to set the bead in 5 minutes with soapy water and hi pressure on my pump. The service clerk had explained that his pressure hose only goes to 80 psi. When I checked the tire pressure before pumping it was at 55psi...??? I pumped it up to 67 psi or so maybe 70 and the tire set. I called to talk with the Mgr (nice guy) who apologized and was going to credit my account for labor. I haven’t seen any credit to just account yet? Not sure I will come back. The lie about the rim, and the untruth was what ticked me off. I typically never get upset or write these reviews, but it needs to be shared. Thank you.

I took my road bike in for routine…
I took my road bike in for routine service. My shifting was just a little bit out of calibration. When I picked up my bike, the shifting was worse than it was when I brought it in. I asked them to please readjust and they did. The second time was just as bad as the first. I was then told it was an equipment problem and I needed a new front derailleur. I purchased a new derailleur. I just returned from my first ride with the new equipment and it still is out of adjustment as much as the first time. I just want it right. I have used Folsom Bike many times in the past with GREAT results. This time seems to be a problem. Not sure if I have bad equipment or the service is not up to their usual standard.

Enjoy everything about this shop from the sales, service and adjoining coffee shop. It's a great place to help out a beginner from supplies, bikes, service and support. Shopped many places and even had places that said only customers got to test ride bikes to another than wouldn't unlock the bikes for a closer look. Let's just say they went over the top to let me test ride several bikes, help me finish my selection process to loaning a bike when my ordered bike was taking too long. The service is above and beyond.

Bike Rental Folsom Bikes
I rented a bike from Folsom Bikes and was extremely pleased with the bike and the service. I reserved online and the exact bike was ready when I arrived. The staff was knowledgeable and oriented me to the area. It was an easy return a couple days later. I even had time to grab a quick bite from their attached cafe which was a nice surprise! I will rent again when I’m in town. Thank you!

Road bike rental
Great shop - I’ve rented a road bike from Folsom once a year for the last several years. They always have really nice bikes, and customize for me - installing my saddle, pedals and computer. And the staff is very nice too!
