I took my road bike in for routine…
I took my road bike in for routine service. My shifting was just a little bit out of calibration. When I picked up my bike, the shifting was worse than it was when I brought it in. I asked them to please readjust and they did. The second time was just as bad as the first. I was then told it was an equipment problem and I needed a new front derailleur. I purchased a new derailleur. I just returned from my first ride with the new equipment and it still is out of adjustment as much as the first time. I just want it right. I have used Folsom Bike many times in the past with GREAT results. This time seems to be a problem. Not sure if I have bad equipment or the service is not up to their usual standard.
