Beware of the scam
Beware of the scam. This is a big big scam. They try to avoid the payment forever and they drag you til the hospital send you notices. This is a true test for patience. At the end, they'll come up with an excuse outside the clause, totally illegal and will not cover the hospital expenses at any cost.

Poor Service and fraud
Trawick./GBG provided a very poor service to us. The company will not process any claims for months or provide straight answers for your questions Extremely unprofessional and rude customer service. I had a personal experience with filing claims with them, and despite timely filing of claim, they havent processed it in 4 plus months. Please beware of using this insurance. I will never recommend this company. Your calls will go unanswered. We are planning to send them a legal notice and report them to BBB.

Very poor service
Really poor service. Despite providing all the required documents they did not process my claims. This is a very expensive insurance plan with nothing to show for. Their tagline says "Insurance without Borders" but their own customer service and teams build walls after they got your money. It takes them months to get back to you and they don't even have logical reasons. I would definitely suggest everyone to find alternate insurance plans.

Where is the zero stars option?
If I can put zero stars, I would. I never put reviews unless it is extremely awful or extremely great, well, this was by far one of the worst experiences I have had. This is my second time purchasing this insurance, first time, I didn't need to use it so had no idea how awful it can be. Sure enough, I purchased it again this year, specific package was with First Health Network, for both my parents during their stay in the US, it started with mom needing a simple doctor visit, and the journey started from here, I would provide the insurance details to the doctor but insurance is no where to be found, I then call insurance myself only to be confirmed that my parents are more than eligible and that I should go and schedule the visit. I faced the same issue with four different providers, each time I would call, Trawick would conform that we are eligible but all providers were given a variety of completely different messages, that is if they bothered to respond to providers. Fast forward this endless circle, I submitted my claims after paying out of pocket, to this day, it has been more than a month on my claim, I call to follow up on the claim and get greeted with the rudest operator, I felt like the operator was doing me a favor! Now, I am stuck, not knowing what insurance to switch to cause now my parents have pre existing conditions. Can't believe I am in this situation after having purchased two super expensive packages, been paying around $200/person for more than 6 months that is excluding last year. Bottom line, save your money and go with a decent insurance, this company is a scam!

I will never recommend this company
I will never recommend this company. Very poor claim service, slow processing 30+ days, extensive paperwork required for the claim. Thankfully I had my plane ticket covered under AllianzGlobalTravel Insurance which processed within 48 hours! Don’t use Trawick!

I purchased this insurance (Safe Travels USA) for my mom. She developed pneumonia and I had to take her to a doctor. I picked an urgent care from their network provider list. I thought I would only pay the $100 deductible. I got billed for the whole amount less the daily limit paid by the insurance company of $85. I refuse to pay a $358 fee for a simple doctor visit. The policy is very confusing and they will not pay the whole amount. They also did not pay for the whole prescription even though it fell below the daily limit. So beware: you are still stuck with most of the bill, whatever the issue is. Next time I get something that covers emergencies and will pay out of pocket for visits. It would be cheaper. And I have not received reimbursement for the prescription after at least 3 months have passed.

My fights is going on with this…
My fights is going on with this insurance as they never covered my cause of admission to emergency room. The bills are over $30,000 and they are simply sending a letter for my claims as its a pre-existing condition. First they had stated the same reason based upon the medical record and when doctor issued a letter stating the exact condition that its not a pre-existing, now the claim department is stating I had given a prior number and when I appealed that it was a typo, they are not getting back to me at all. I am seeing hospital bills and its over due and not sure what do do?? As per their policy conditions they are not going and its very sad to treat people like this. No trust and no good response at all.

Safe Travels USA is a total scam
Safe Travels USA is a total scam. I got this insurance for my 78 year old mom, thinking it would cover me no matter what. The fact of the matter is this plan really didn't pay any claims at all - even for stuff that should have been covered. My mom was experiencing chest pain and I took her to the hospital and this also wasn't covered. Now I'm stuck with the bill for over $23,000! And there's no customer service, no returns on claims, every review on this website is correct in that this is a total scam fraud company that no one should use! If you have visitors traveling to the US - do not use this plan!!!!

IT'S WASTE OF MONEY ANF TIME
IT'S WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME It's been 6 months. They never ever update you of the status. Every time I contact them they just say me to submit the documents, even though I have already submitted them. My claims are still pending!!!!!!!!

My father bought this insurance
My father bought this insurance. He had to visit the ED. We have submitted all the document and even down to the boarding pass from the plane! They keep requesting the same documents. It's ridiculous. I have everything documented, even the certified receipt of the medical record. They ask for it again. It's a never ending loop going on for over a year. Clearly they are a scam and just trying to avoid paying his bill. Save yourself some pain and suffering. Buy insurance from a REAL TRAVEL COMPANY instead. GBG is a scam.

Terrible experience
Terrible experience. Months since claiming for a service should have been covered straight away as it was in their medical list. Same for prescriptions, still awaiting. They just keep asking for papers that I have already sent, it is frustrating and unfortunatley I did not read the reviews before. Also from my kids treatment the hospital keep calling me as they cannot get the bills paid by the company, as they should. Frustrating, if I would not pay them I would have had plenty of money to pay the bills out of my pocket rather than using this scam service. Please do not use them!!!! I definitley will not!

GBG Administrative Services Insurance through Insubuy.com (also listed Trawick International and Safe Travels Plan on insurance card)
I had a bad experience - very similar to what most people have listed here. The company behind this that I'm dealing with is GBG Administrative services- I brought the insurance through Insubuy.com though the member card shows Trawick International and Safe Travels Network. I'm not sure if they are all together in this but the claim was to be mailed to GBG Administrative Services. After paying nearly $4K for 4 months for my parents insurance while they were visiting US, GBG Administrative Services Insurance has not cleared a single claim till date. They keep asking for the same documents again and again. And one of the claims they denied as an existing condition though the issue was never an existing condition. I wish I had read all these reviews before and I would never have gone with GBG Administrative Services. I have finally put in a complaint with BBB and was surprised initially to find that it was not registered with them. BBB now has listed GBG Administrative Services. if you are also having issues getting GBG to process your claims, I would suggest you also reach the Better Business Bureau at bbb.org and search for GBG Administrative Services (site won't allow to post links) Also hoping that someone who may read the reviews before buying insurance saves themselves the trouble if they read this before buying anything from/of GBG Administrative Services (through Insubuy.com, Trawick or any other agency selling them). How is 'FLU' a pre-existing condition?
My daughter's coverage was denied for pre-existing conditions. Now, tell me how could 'FLU' (you heard it right) be a pre-existing condition when we are 5 months into the insurance? For my own case, the claims were denied with code 'Travel Info' (as indicated in the mail from the medical provider,) in-spite of me providing all documents. When I asked GBG why?, they said it is actually for 'Pre-existing conditions' They did not even inform me about the denial until I brought it to their attention that I was never informed about such things. I think they deny the claims as soon as they know our visit visa expired. That way, we will have no clue as to what is happening. Given that I had to remain in the US, I received the bill from the provider to my mailing address. Imagine a person that had already left US. They will never know anything given that GBG does not inform the policy holders over email. This company is a farce. Do not buy. We should bring their scam to consumer forum's notice.

Safe Travels does not cover COVID!!
Safe Travels does not cover COVID!!! The claim process for this plan is a farce.. I was enrolled with Safe Travels from Jan - May and my dad contracted COVID-19. Due to his diabetes he got acute renal failure and needed to be in ICU for 5 days. Safe Travels did not provide any benefit and now I am personally liable for over $60K in bills!! My agent who sold me this plan totally abandoned me and GBG claims and trawick wont pick up the phone when I call.. .ANYONE WHO SELLS YOU THIS PLAN SHOULD BE REPORTED TO STATE INSURANCE AUTHORITY!! I really don't know what to do.. my whole life is ruined now due to these medical bills...

My Experience with this company is…
My Experience with this company is horrible. I filled my claim in Oct 2019 and submitted all documents that they need 10 times. Today is July 2020 and my claim is still pending. Every-time I call customer service same lady Brittany or Elizabeth picks up the call. Give me the same status that my claim is pending with processing department and refuse to provide any update. I felt cheated as they don't seems genuine to help you resolve your claim. I am gonna do my best to explain same story to every one because this company should not be doing business if they are not helping people with their claims.

You get what you pay for with this…
You get what you pay for with this company. The price is attractive- it was the lowest cost plan and offered the best coverage. My papa had couple BP issues and I took him to urgent care and it wasnt covered (pre-existing). when I called they calmly explained the plan doesnt cover pre existing n only new isuees. OK next time i know. Thank you trawick for being transparent and honest with your clients!

Easy to purchase, claims a bit tricky
Easy to purchase, price very attractive. Claims are a little cumbersome. My mom had a sore throat so i took her to urgent care- that was easy and they paid like $100.. then later my dad got a UTI and the bill was denied. It looks like UTI is not covered in their plan so i had to pay out of pocket close to $8,000. I only paid about $200 for 4 months but that's what you can expect. Im not mad- more dissapointed my agent didnt let me know. I should have done more research

This plan did not meet its expectations. I think the main issue is that they didn't cover anything pre-existing. Yes they did Cover my mom's Urgent Care visit when she burned her hand. That was fine because that was an accident. But later on during her stay she developed a kidney infection that wasn't covered by the plan. Because it was labeled as pre-existing and actually it was not even covered by the plan. So I was just really disappointed by that, but otherwise the staff was really helpful in letting me know how the policy works
