The furniture arrived broken
The furniture arrived broken. Store did not have what I was looking for and what I wanted was on sale for 75% off an only got 25% off.

As for our current promotions, our latest sale was 25% off. Our sales range between 15% and 30% off. Our clearance items are the only items at a deeper discount than this, and those are sold as is and excluded from warranties. Money over Customer Assistance
The mattress delivered was not correct. When asked for an exchange the salesperson said the exchange couldn't be done because the mattress cover wasn't purchased. I called a manager in customer service he said he would follow up and no return call. I was so disgusted I never followed back up. The orland Square store on LaGrange is only concerned with a sale and not customer service.

I bought a living room set
I bought a living room set Picked it from the floor model Showed Pablo the sales man supposedly the best sales man in the store by Luis Ortega the manager. It was three pieces. We ordered and we received something totally different. And he I am still trying to fix this mess. What a horrible experience this has been. Never again.

The website is not user friendly
The website is not user friendly and extremely delayed with loading and the website would not allow me to add a sales person to my order . I made several attempts, via various platforms and devices to secure my order. I almost changed my mind on placing my order.

Mattress not delivered within the frame…
Mattress not delivered within the frame time window. The room place offered. They were running 4to 5 hours behind. Then expected us to pay for a rescheduled day.

We ordered and paid for a furniture set…
We ordered and paid for a furniture set back in February. The furniture was set to arrive in warehouse on 4/21/23. I called on Monday, 4/17/23 to inquire on my order. The lady told me that my furniture had already arrived (4/17/23) and was availablefor pick up. I told her we would be in the next day. About an hour later I called back to let them know that we could not pick up the next day but probably later on in the week or maybe early next week. (It wasn't supposed to arrive until 4/21/23 anyway). She said just to let them know in advance when we would be in. So I call on Thursday, 4/20/23 to inform them when would be in, and the person I talked to said that the furniture was not in the warehouse and would not be in until the middle of May. How does my furniture go from being in the warehouse to not being there anymore? I have spoken to managers. They all said the furniture was not available and would not be in until May. I spoke to someone from corporate office in IL as well. I am still waiting from a call back from a manager.

LIES over LIES
They are bunch of liars who pretend that have no idea what they doing ! Example 1: sign me up for finance and after Im trying to use a gift sertifucate telling me " oops ! There is a limit if you wanna use that so you have to buy more that what you need. I do derstand you live by lying and selling more but at least have a respect for a customer who spent 5000$ in your store before and he's not stupid. Example 2: that chingada guardian IS JUST AND ONLY ACCIDENTALL COVERAGE 1TIME USE ONLY. DO NOT LOOK IN MY FACE AND CALL IT 5YEARS WARRANTY!

My salesman was wonderful
My salesman was wonderful. My delivery this time has been a nightmare. When I purchased my delivery date 4.21.2023. I received a text message with a date of 4.22.2023. I had to call & ask about my delivery date being charged. No one ever reach out then I received a call on 4.20.2023 changing my date again to 4.26.2023. I understand you can’t deliver what you don’t have. I would have accepted 4.26.2023 & not all these changes. I have to rearrange my schedule 3x.

Awful experience
Awful experience. Returned all the furniture I purchased and the return policy is horrible. Now, I’m stuck with store credit and a credit card bill and no furniture .

Good at first...Disappointed in the end.
We specifically bought a different bed set because the other one we liked would have been backordered. After working with a manager, we placed an order for our bed set with the guarantee that we would get it on 4/22/2023. We just got an email we will not be getting it until 5/17/2023, with just an apology for the inconvenience. We spent quite a lot of money on this bed set, just to be disappointed to find out we would have to wait.

Beware of Room Place Delivery
Store experience was fine. The home delivery crew was more concerned about receiving a tip than delivering our furniture. After not receiving a verbal commitment to provide a tip at the start of the delivery, their attitudes were horrible. The delivery team scratched our newly painted walls horribly. Trash and hardware left through bedroom. New home, paint crew working inside at time of delivery noted, it was like they scratched the heck out of the walls intentionally. My wife and I had to pay to have the areas repainted. In some areas, the scratches were in places they didn’t need to touch. The delivery experience left my wife and I shaking our heads. Not a good Room Place experience.

I am going to call today to cancel my order. I came into Room Place early in the day. The sales associate offered to help me a few times and then struck up a conversation with me. He was awkward, respectful, and personable all at the same time. I figured he was relatively new. I told him I was taking pictures and visiting a few stores and at the end of my search I would decide on where and what to buy. He gave me his card and told me he would be in the store until 9. I went to several stores and the last store I visit was next to a Room Place in Castleton, IN. Instead of going there to buy the living room set, I drove ALL THE WAY back to East Washington to check out with BRYSON. Bryson and I were having a pleasant interaction and I was having a GREAT buying experience with him until his manager came over. The manager came over when Bryson adjusted the sale per my request to not include the protection plan. The manager was condensing, and aggressive, and his facial expression and body language each time I said I'm not interested appeared to be a sign of total disgust and disapproval. He questioned my decision as if I was in the CIA’s custody for terrorism. He asked me about self-cleaning of body fluids followed by a look of disgust. I thought telling him I'm a mid-40-looking at a 50-year-old woman who knows how to care for a sofa and I can make my own decisions would shut him down but they didn't. It continued for about 7 minutes. Unfortunately, Bryson continued to probe about my decision to not include the protection plan after explaining multiple times. I had a headache upon going to check out and left with THE WORST experience. I don't even want to look at the furniture or have it in my house for fear of associating it with being harassed, condemned, and belittled. I don't know if the manager aggressively spoke to me that way because I'm a woman but I can't imagine the same behavior not escalating with a man verbally or physically. I financed the furniture! That means an opportunity for more business. But, that manager, I don't care what his sales are, he should NOT work with the public. I feel violated!

RUN FAR AWAY
RUN FAR AWAY! (I repeat! RUN!!!!!!!!!!) We purchased a “leather” sectional in November 2018. Within the first year we noticed the seems looked like it might flake. So we were gentle with in. We didn’t have kids. So it was easy to do. It began to flake in 2022. Prior to this we had bought a microfiber sectional sofa from the room Place in 2011/2012. We had added the stain guard they recommended, I’m telling you this, wateii spills stained they sofa. It took us 2 times of learning our lesson . Run, run, run Update 4/4/2023 I reached out as they said in the post below. I spoke with Maria on the phone. She asked for more photos, I sent those in and she told me that I’d hear something Friday. I sent an email on Thursday she then informed me that I’d hear something in 3 business days, well as of this post is been past the three days. And not one reply or resolution. In my eyes they want to “appear” to be concerned about the negative reviews an attempt to deflect from the issue. Unless something is resolved you’re better saving your money and going to a place that will stand by their furniture and a company that manufactures QUALITY furniture . Update 4/5/2023 I’m going to stick by my original post when I say RUN RUN RUN. After wasting my valuable time and leading me on to think they might actually stand by their products, they offered me $100 dollars gift card to the room place. Their claim was that I bought the couch as is (which is true because it had a small tear in the back but that seems irrelevant to the massive flaking of the “leather couch”I was sold. The salesmen lied and said “it won’t flake” “it’s leather “. Please run to someplace like Godby furniture. You will get better furniture and can find some great deals. I learned my lesson after spending $2500+ . Horrible customer service/ resolution

I had my delivery and the guys came in and put together my table my whole wood floor is scratched and the glass table top has a crack in it so now I have to wait for a new table top. I bought it and had it scheduled before Easter as I’m hosting and I have to host with a broken kitchen table

Will not order anything from this store…
Will not order anything from this store again! When you want to pick up your order they will not let you pick it up at the store where you purchased then they have to charge you for delivery. Bad business practice. If I want to pick up what I ordered I should be able to pick it up at the store I purchased. Or DONT charge me for delivery.

I had the worst experience.
I had the worst experience. the ware house and the main sales store...do not communicate. I was told that my old table will be picked up once the new table delivered but that did not happen.
