Couches lasted less than 4 months
We bought two sofas in April. By May we could tell they were prematurely pilling, and by September we had a rep come out and look at them. They took a bunch of pictures and agreed that they are falling apart. The cushions are losing their umph, they are pilling all over, and there are strings coming out of the fabric. They offered us a replacement. We don’t want another set of a couch that is falling apart. They said they can only offer store credit, so I spent three hours wandering the store trying to find another set that met my criteria. I came away frustrated and empty handed. I don’t want store credit, I just want a refund and to be done. I paid $2100 for couches, and they lasted less than 4 months. NOT happy. I can understand the policy if I had just changed my mind, or if it had been a few years and the couches didn’t fully last through warranty. It’s been four months, the product failed. A full refund should be standard.

It changed the name in the shipping…
It changed the name in the shipping address from what I had entered. The shipping address was a different name than the billing address. This is a very common situation. And now the wrong name is on the order because it changed it after the purchase button was clicked. Unintelligent.

No help with issue after purchase
We purchased stainless steel kitchen appliances from RC Willey and paid extra for them to be coated with Pro Shine because we were told it would make the mainteinance easier. Just the opposite happened. It became impossible to get fingerprints, smudges, or anything else off with the special cleaner that had to be used. To their credit, they did replace the coating, but now we have the same issue and they no longer carry Pro Shine. I called to ask them to come out and just remove the coating, but was told they can't do anything. Now I have thousands of dollars invested in appliances that look absolutely terrible because we paid extra for the Pro Shine treatment that they recommended. Buyer beware if you have a problem that requires their assistance after your purchase.

Third Party Vendor/Installer
I purchased a dishwasher last year June 2022, and this June 2023 I went to open the dishwasher door and the door latch was obstructed but nothing I could see visually that would prevent the door to close. Thank Goodness I purchased the extended warranty at the time of original purchase coz I needed to file a claim and get this repaired etc. Long story short, the appliance repair service guy came out took one look at the dishwasher told me I am not touching this dishwasher, he said it was jerryrigged, took pictures and said you need to contact RC Wiley. So I did, long story short after nearly a month later we are finally on schedule for dishwasher exchange after I followed up with the extended warranty dept. The original installers are coming back to install the new dishwasher since they are considered the best, I requested the owner or lead guy to reinstall our dishwasher…. This is all for my senior mother who is 81 with Alz who doesn’t have a clue all the leg work that I have had to do to get this completed when it should have been done right the 1st time!!! 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ And why did the original installers Jerry rigg the dishwasher in the 1st place. Yes I am nervous about the reinstall but what am I to do, we need our dishwasher, catch 22 Thanks RC Wiley what a circus

Hi Linda! Your order is available for pick up at our South Salt Lake store. The stock was not available at the store yesterday, it had to transfer from our warehouse in Salt Lake City. It is now available and you can pick it up today when the store opens at 10 am.

It was delivered to the wrong address
It was delivered to the wrong address. The people unboxed it then call you guys to tell you it wasn’t there. Then it was delivered without a box and any of the paperwork. I either want the paperwork or another fridge that’s in the box unopened.

Don’t buy an electric chair from R C Willy ever!!!
I spent the $ for an electric recliner, beautiful! I loved it! Till it quit working barely 2 months after it was delivered, I called it in a week later a guy came out and said yes the motor is not working, they had to order the part, he said to fallow up with customer service, so I have called every week for 7 weeks, I have been told the company it comes from is out of the country, the company it comes from would be out of the office for a week, that i would hear from them by the 15, the 18, I was told the lady incharged of ordering parts is on vacation they would send me a text with info… I called corporate twice, the message said the waiting for someone to help me was long press 1 for call back and no call back!!! I have a $1000 chair I can not use, I asked to return it they said I had it over 14 days so no return… so I guess, the lesson is don’t but anything electric, from RCWilly, I want them to know I will tell this story to everyone i can!!! I was very sick for 4 of the 7 week my chair was not working, sure would have been nice to be able to sit in my new chair!!!

So mad! :{
I though buying something on clearance would mean they still wrap it and protect it for delivery. NOPE! And a white mattress at that! The salesman told us it would be in plastic too. So dirty on the top corners and there wasn't a spot on it at the store! So incredibly mad!! Who in their right mind would not cover that and just throw it in a delivery truck??? Fire them!! Unbelievable! (The delivery guy said it was not his decision.) It cost $1300 too! Not like a couple hundred bucks! I WOULD HAVE PICKED IT UP MYSELF HAD I KNOWN!!! Never again will I shop there!

Lots of problems with the website
Lots of problems with the website. First adding the item to the cart gave me an error, then paying gave me errors, then it failed to subtract the $25 discount for signing up for email offers… I had to contact customer service twice (I’m not new to online shopping) Now, that said, the gal I spoke with in Customer Service was very good at resolving both issues. But the website was terrible. Way too much hassle and wasted time.

Forgot the to bring the power cords
Forgot the to bring the power cords. Told us that we would get a call from the warehouse. We be e got the call after 3 days of calling ourselves they finally agreed to send. It took another week to get the cords. We coildnt use our recliners for over a week. Unacceptable

I thought RC Willey was a reputable…
I thought RC Willey was a reputable business, which is why I spent over $ 3,000 on a desk for my den. I am shocked about the absolutely Horrible customer service I am receiving. My desk was suppose to be delivered Aug 3rd but there someone pulled the wrong desk. New date was Aug 10th. Now they say the correct desk was pulled but the wrong hutch. My new date is suppose to be the 17th. I called to get it sooner because I am leaving town the 17th. I was told they would call me back by 7pm and no call from customer service. This is ridiculous!!!

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE
I bought a Gray Leather Power Lift Recliner with Heat SKU: 111894816 Order 45877643 on 6/25/21 it is suppose to have a 3 year warranty I have been waiting on a part since March and today I get a text that the ETA to have repaired is Oct. I would not buy anything from them and I will not be going there anymore. Their customer service and parts department is TERIBLE AND BELOW PAR. THEY DON'T BELIVE IN TAKING CARE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS.

Very disappointed
Very disappointed. Given a non-useable coupon. They promise a $25 coupon for signing up for their newsletter and the coupon applies to the cart when using the code, but when you go to checkout, the total changes and removes the coupon. I called and was told the coupon doesn't apply to some items. The customer service representative confirmed that there's no notice or disclaimer on the coupon, the product, or even when you try to use it. Just an "well, sorry. That's just the way it is." Using these types of unusable incentives is not only underhanded, but it's also deceitful and intentionally misleading. I'll shop elsewhere from now on.

Purchasing a gift card--bad experience
We went in to the store to purchase a gift card. My wife forgot her license at home, so they would not let us purchase one despite having other forms of ID. We are out of town from Maryland, so it's not like we can get there easily. I was able to purchase one online WITHOUT ANY OTHER FORM OF ID. This was ridiculous. I only bought the gift card from there because the person we are giving it to shops there. We are moving to Utah in August and will need to purchase furniture for the entire house. I guarantee that we will NOT purchase anything from RC Willey

Bought a sectional reclining couch
Bought a sectional reclining couch. Everyone including manager was very rude. Sales associate never mentioned about the warranty we could have bought. Couch defect. Loved RC Willey but will never buy from them again.

Be carful Web ordering needs to get better.
Web ordering needs to be better. I filled out the order using my husbands name and credit card. But AFTER submitting order, the web page substitute my name on the order. Why is that a problem? Because also only AFTER submitting the order did the website inform me that only I can pick the order at the store with ID. I am unable to do this. Next morning I spent some time with customer service via phone trying to get my husbands name added to pick up ,(many websites ask name of person picking up, but not RCW) after some hold time I was told to call later as the department was closed. This issue is wasting a lot of my time.
