If I could give zero stars I would
If I could give zero stars I would. I sent back four items 22nd August totally £1250. I still haven’t had my refund despite making untold amount of phone calls. I’m being told the UK branch has moved to the USA! Not my problem. I want my money back. They promised sometime from the USA would ring me after 4pm weekdays since last week. I’ve had nothing and to honest I’m getting really p****d off with these companies taking your money and then giving a nonchalant excuse for not giving my money back. Failure to resolve I’ll just report them to trading standards. What a different that’ll make god only knows! If anyone has anything else I can do I would appreciate feedback

Appalling customer service with untrained staff
Customer service for this company is non-existent. The staff answering the 'dedicated VIP customer hotline' have no knowledge of the return procedures, no idea if items are returned to a UK hub or if I have to pay to return to the USA, no knowledge about customs/VAT and were unable to find my account despite the fact that I was looking at it online whilst speaking to them. Also a discount code sent to me by the company did not work. I have never had a problem with them before but now they have transferred to the USA (with telephone staff apparently in Germany) they are totally incompetent.

Don't give up - You can get a refund!
I have finally received my refund!!! 5 months after returning my item. Reading a review on here I used the .com email to contact the USA. They replied in 24 hours. I had to give them my card details for a refund and after a chase up it came through 4 weeks later. So keep at it - but the team in the USA do seem to be on the case.

Update - Cant return - emails not answered- still in business in the Uk?
I need to return an item Am I missing something? What friendly helpful customer service?NOT Their staff member told me on 21 sept website was down and to keep trying( I'm trying to do a return which has to be done through their portal) Sunday 23 sept no joy - 2 emails sent on Sunday with photos showing the unavailable url etc. 27th sept another call - rep can see the emails, says the problem is I dont have a uk order no and there are problems in the uk with this! She said she would escalate - sat 30th September, still no portal and no acknowledgement of emails. So not sure what to do- have limited time to do the return? Are they still trading? UPDATE: I emailed the .com on Sat, today Mon 2 Oct I received an email with a UK order number which is needed to complete the return - along with my postcode, I have been advised that the return will be given priority once received back and they advise around 4 weeks for the returns process, so will update. They sincerely apologised for the inconvenience but really they should be sorting out the us and uk order numbers. I appreciated their fast reply email and was able to use the portal and print off the returns label to use their tracked 48 service at no charge to myself. There was still no acknowledgment of my emails to address in England

Don’t give up hope - refunds do come eventually
Like the previous reviewer I did get all of my refunds in the end. I honestly think it is better to appeal to their better nature! Only deal with the US (.com NOT .co.uk). I rang US twice and most emails do seem to get answered. I do believe they are struggling with a variety of issues. It is true they don’t ring back when they say but a well worded email gets a response. I had to send back a pair of jeans just when the new returns system started in June. Then had 2 more items that needed returning. I eventually got the labels for the three boxes which sent the clothes to The Netherlands! It showed they had arrived but they don’t refund till that branch sends them to the US. It took three months to get back £517. Weirdly one box got refunded long before the other two which were sent together.

Dreadful service.
I ordered 2 items in May. It is now October and they still haven't arrived. I've phoned several times and always excuses as to why I haven't received them. New order placed in September. I need to exchange one item but website not working (again) and won't accept my order number. Told order number was their mistake but new number doesn't work either. Now have to wait for a label by post, they can't email it. I cannot deal with this company anymore as they are useless. Their items are very expensive, so you expect good survive. I hope I eventually get my money back.

This should be no star but that option…
This should be no star but that option isn’t available. I bought a dress on 6th June which didn’t suit me, so I sent it back the same day. I have been chasing my refund ever since. After speaking to someone on the phone (eventually) in September I was told I would get the refund within the next few days. All I have received is an active card check, no refund. They now claim to have refunded my money on 27th September which they most definitely have NOT! Where do I go from here? Do not buy from this company unless you absolutely know your size and that the garment is 100% what you want.

If I could give it no stars I would. I have been a very good customer of this company for around 15 years. When they had the UK office, the service was impeccable. The staff knew the products, delivery was very quick, as were returns. The quality was excellent. Last year they entered into a disastrous collaboration with a designer unknown on this side of the Atlantic. Unknown for good reason as the clothes were both hideous and hideously expensive - frankly unwearable. They were so far from PCs reputation for elegance that I thought the owners had lost their minds. Customers didn't buy them and it must have cost the company a packet - which may be why they closed down earlier this year, without any warning at all. They closed the UK business, which also served Europe and all we knew was that the website didn't operate, and we couldn't get any information. I had sent returns back totalling £731 in May - I am yet to receive a refund. Maybe my money is fleecing the owners'pockets. Their call centre staff in the States have clearly not been trained properly. The people I spoke to tried to be helpful but knew nothing and spoke very poor English! Unbelievable. Here I am about 6 months later without my refund. They said they sent it on 27 September - this isn't true. It seems to be a date they have applied to other customers who, like me, are still waiting for their money. The only knowledgeable and helpful person is lovely Phil, based here in the UK. Deal with him, not the States. This no longer a customer focused company. The clothes are now horrendously expensive. I'm afraid they've lost their way and I can no longer trust them at all. Do not buy from them.

Appalling customer service and…
Appalling customer service and persistent misuse of my personal data. Peruvian Connection has failed to respond to my repeated requests to remove my details from their database. Since my first (of many) emails and phone calls in December 2022, I have received multiple unwanted catalogues to my address.

Ordered goods on 24/10/2023 , quality poor..l want to return them ...it is hell. No returns label ...l don't have a printer to print off a label , l have explained multiple times and would they send a label in the post. It is now the 29/11/2023 still no label in the post. I have used Peruvian Connection for some years , but never ever again, George at PC has requested a label to be sent in the post but he says it could take up to a month , then a further month to do the refund on my returns ..this is ridiculous ..are you telling your customers it takes 3-4 months to refund a customer on goods that are unsuitable ..Never again will l be using this company..

This company can't be trusted
This company can't be trusted. I returned a dress that was confirmed to have been received in their warehouse. When I noticed I still hadn't received a refund, I contacted their head office a total of 4 times only to be given the run around each time. Ultimately, I disputed the charge with my bank.

I ordered a dress through the website…
I ordered a dress through the website three weeks ago, but didn't receive an email to confirm and therefore didn't have an order number. Eventually I emailed customer services who gave me a number. Still no dress delivered and so I went to the website to search for the order history and was told that the order did not exist. I therefore emailed customer services twice but got no reply. In the end I phoned the 0800 number and spoke to someone and cancelled the order. Very sad because I have been a loyal customer (spent ££££ for many years) and ALWAYS found the customer support to be superb. I now have a feeling that both the person I spoke to and the person who replied to my initial email were not actually working for the company, but were in a call centre dealing with lots of different businesses.

I have been a customer for the past 8…
I have been a customer for the past 8 plus years. I have never been disappointed with the clothes, service, returns, etc. For having to dress professionally, this is one place I can trust for quality clothing. The clothes are timeless and will last a long time without pilling and looking worn if watched on cold and hung to dry. The prices are a little high, but I rather pay high prices and wear it for the next few years then pay for cheaper fabrics and the newest "fad" style that you may get one or two years out of.

VERY POOR!
I ordered a long sleeve top for my wife as a Xmas gift on 20/11/23. I didn't receive any confirmation email so had no reference to use in any follow up. I must admit that I began to wonder whether, in fact, I'd imagined making the purchase however any concerns about my faculties were laid to rest today (> 1 month later!) when I received a call on a very poor quality telephone line (from a call centre far away?) from a PC "Customer Service" Representative stating that they didn't have the item in stock and they weren't expecting any more to arrive. Very sad to see that PC's decision to Globalise operations has apparently resulted in such a shocking degradation of service. My wife has been a loyal customer for many years - in fact she was just about to place an order for another dress. Given this experience, and that of other customers, I doubt she / we will be shopping with PC again - now or ever.

Use extreme caution with this company as they do not care about the customer at all
I would advise extreme caution when dealing with this company. I am still waiting in January 2024 for a refund on a garment I purchased from them and returned in May 2023...they acknowledge receipt and that I am due a refund but it has taken repeated telephone calls and emails to chase with no result at all so far. I am still owed £129 - their first excuse was that they did not have my credit card on file, I gave the number to them on numerous occasions and each time was promised immediate action. Then in September 2023 I was sent a cheque (!) out of the blue and when I phoned them to ask why it was a cheque not a credit card refund was told that the cheque was a mistake, and that I should destroy it as they were crediting the card immediately. No credit appeared...and then they said that as a cheque had been issued they could not now do a credit card refund. They promised they were sending another cheque but it is now January 2024 and no cheque has appeared. Customer services today said their "system" does not allow them to issue another cheque but they are trying to sort this. I have never encountered a company who cares less about the customer and their customer services is hopeless. So only order if you do not need a refund ever! The sad thing is I used to be a loyal repeat customer but this horrible experience has put me off for ever.

Quality is very poor
Quality of the product has really diminished since moving to America. Just spent over £300 on a dress and the material and the way it has been put together is cheap. Worth £75 of that.... DO NOT PURCHASE.

Beautiful dress and quick delivery
I had not bought anything from Peruvian Connection for a number of years, so I was sorry to read quite a few recent negative reviews of the company. It was with trepidation that I decided to order, but the beautiful dress arrived very quickly and the quality is as outstanding as ever. Some of the complaints have been about the returns process, but before I ordered I phoned customer service to ask about their policy, and was reassured by the agent I spoke to. The dress is so lovely, so happily I cannot comment on the returns process, but I'm very glad to know that the clothing is still high quality. It's certainly very expensive, but the sale prices are manageable, so it's very well worth it to look out for those!
