Same Problems Remain I See
As I still get brochures with lovely things I would normally buy like a shot - including coats that I’d have loved - I keep looking on here to see if things have improved but alas not. This is disappointing. I was once a very loyal customer and PC used to be brilliant. In one brochure the founder put in a letter which thanked their UK customers for continued loyalty! The irony is that they offer us little to be loyal for. In fact I’d go further and say that it has felt on occasion borderline contemptuous. After waiting ages for orders you will go through hoops (and time) if you need to send anything back, and then, adding insult to injury, they take weeks or even months to refund you. Requests for updates can be ignored or if given (to appease) they always sound super nice and helpful but then nothing happens and you are forced to ring a number of times. This is borne out of my own genuine experiences, as well as many wasted hours (yes hours) writing and calling to resolve. Quite honestly if other companies could deal with the Brexit challenge then why not PC?

Peruvian Connection Have become a Rip Off
Having been a PC customer for a decade, I have reached the end of the line. Their products have become increasingly expensive, declining quality, very poor value for money and in the past 3 years, downright boring or ridiculous. Skinny vapid models wearing the same endlessly reproduced designs year in year out. You can buy clothes and accessories of similar or better quality for 10% of their price. Their claim to being authentic Peruvian is also nonsense. I've travelled expensively in Peru and showed their so called 'authentic/traditional items' to people who do not recognise than as being from any part of Peru. Now they have left the UK. Their customer service is appalling, dishonest and chaotic. AVOID at all costs. There are better, more eco friendly and sustainable places to buy clothes.

I contacted PC after ordering a dress…
I contacted PC after ordering a dress off website I got discount for signing up. I was asking for approx delivery as I heard nothing in the 10 days. I was told that the dress was not in stock ( still allows you to order) It would be 8 -10 week before restock. I think it is dreadful service that you are awaiting for your dress and no-one has contacted you. There was another dress more expensive that I liked so I asked if they would honour the discount given the previous dress They said that finished yesterday. so no!!I did not buy the dress. Will not use again

Appalling
Appalling - USE this company at your own risk. I had the most terrible and long drawn out experience. Similar to other reviews no contact - complete lack of customer service. I tried to purchase a dress in the January sale . When it had not appeared having waited 2 months with no communication from them at all, not even a confirmation email - I contacted customer services on numerous occasions, each time there was a different story - customer services were rude and unhelpful - eventually I was told that the delay was, they were making it - how can you make a dress at a sale price and still make a profit. Their mark up on full price items must be huge. I was not allowed to cancel the order although it was over 2 months late and then the first communication from them - it was on it's way, 3 months late!!! However, it never arrived and as other reviews on here getting a refund was an even worse nightmare. I did spend days on the telephone, I did eventually get my money back. I have sent in a complaint to them but not unsurprisingly I have not heard back from them, not even an acknowledgement that I have sent a complaint email to them. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

Customer Reviews Eliminated... Why?
It is hit or miss with the quality of the clothing that I've purchased over the years. Because of that I counted on customer reviews to make a decision on whether to make a purchase. Recently, Peruvian Connection has removed the customer reviews from their online catalogue. It's curious that the reviews were removed. Tells me the quality, which it has, has gone down. The last purchase I made (risking no customer insights) on two sweater shirts were made of cheap material like what you can buy at a discount store. The shirts, bag, sag and drag... and the sleeves keep growing, now down to my knuckles (midway). You can never trust the sizing or the quality, but you can trust the cost to be overpriced, and then there's shipping costs and return shipping (with very specific return requirements). But if you spent over $350 shipping is free (maybe not anymore), but not on the item you spent over $350 for, no matter if the product is defective or the sizing was misrepresented, or what looks good on the model isn't representative of what it will look good on the rest of the population. I'm no longer a fan of this store.

Customer service is diabolical now
Customer service is diabolical now. Had to get involved in resolving an issue for my 80 year old mum who was being given the runaround. Wrong item sent and when trying to return the item wasn’t showing on the returns portal. CS state I will receive a returns label in approx 2 weeks! Why on earth would it take 2 weeks to resolve? A long term valuable customer who will never shop with them again.

Eventual Poor Ressponse
I received the following 'response' this morning EIGHT MONTHS after my original complaints! "We deeply value your loyalty as a customer, and I apologize for any inconvenience caused. If there's anything further we can do to assist you or if you have additional feedback to share, please don't hesitate to reach out to us." Well, there is something you can do, I have REPEATEDLY asked you to STOP sending me brochures by mail. I have NO intention of purchasing from you in the future and they just go into recycling, A cut'n paste response will not restore my faith in PC, very far from it.

Finally a response after eight months! Too little too late
Ha-ha, I finally received a response to my PC review, 8 months later!! That says it all about PC's attitude to its UK customers. I was one of their loyal customers but no longer. The styles have become increasingly predictable but with higher pricing (partly I suppose because of the shipping from US now that the UK operations have closed). I'm sorry PC but an apologetic response 8 months later is just a bad joke. I'm now concentrating on UK luxury brands (Holland Cooper, for instance) which are far better quality at better prices and much more reliable. Too little too late PC to keep my custom. Need to up your game in the UK by a long way.
