I returned a tennis racquet unused…
I returned a tennis racquet unused within 36 hours of receiving it, and never having used it. Holabird refused to give me a refund. They said there was a mark on the frame. They sent it back to me. The frame was clean; not a scratch in sight. Fortunately, Visa voided the charge.

We typically will not put shoes in additional boxes to cut down on cardboard usage. Unfortunately from time to time, our delivery carriers will leave packages in spots that can be vulnerable to water issues. Poor Customer Service/Deceptive Business Practice
Buyers beware of Holabird's deceptive practice! I recently purchased a pair of Salomon Cross Hike 2 Mid Gtx boots. I wore the boots for about 4 hours outside of my residence before I determined the boots were a little too small. I did not engage in activity that would produce wear and tear, or soil the shoes in any way. Holabird received my shoes and issued a refund of zero dollars. I phoned Holabird to explain their decision. I was informed the shoes appeared to be "worn", which is a vague term. I was informed by the representative, the shoes will be sent to the manufacturer for a write off request and if approved, a refund will be issued to me, if not, I will not receive a refund. I'm pretty sure the shoes won't be returned to me, which I paid for. It would have been nice to know up-front about what was to come when I was issued a return ticket through a live telephone call. Very poor customer service and a deceptive way of doing business. Heads, they win. Tails, they win! Buyers stay away!

I am sorry for the frustration with your order and understand where you are coming from about the up on the air nature about a Salomon decision. We do make note on our return information page that we can only accept 100% brand new and unworn shoes for refund. We are unable to sell anything that has been worn outside as brand new to another customer. It looks like our returns supervisor is trying to work with Salomon to potentially make an exception with your order and I will have them follow up with an update tomorrow. We certainly do not have any deceptive business practices and make sure to be as upfront and clear as possible with all of our customers. I bought a sneaker and paid for shipping to be shipped the next day, I didn't receive my order, I contacted the store, they said I would have to call to confirm the information for my order to be shipped, I called they said to cancel the purchase and place a new order paying by PayPal. I got in touch again asking to cancel the purchase, they told me they don't know if it's possible to cancel, this store IS PURE SCAM, they don't send the order and they don't cancel the purchase and they don't even reverse the payment on the credit card.

It looks like your billing address being located in Brazil and shipping to somewhere within the United States caused the issue. We never withdrew any funds from your account and you should see that pending hold fall off, but that depends on your credit card company. Again my sincere apologies for the issue with your order! What a horrible customer care
What a horrible customer care! The company’s representative claimed that Hollabird is not responsible for the packages not being delivers properly - damaged, or stolen, etc. Ultimately, after a month the box with balls arrived damaged with few cans depressurized, and the representative over the phone told me that this is not their problem, because their system said that “I picked up the package”. What a joke! I wouldn’t believe this is possible in America. I used to buy a lot of tennis shoes from them before, but I don’t want to do business with them ever again.

Terrible customer service and refund policy
You refused to issue me a credit for sneakers I bought online saying they were “worn” when in fact I wore them for under an hour INSIDE my house and they hurt my feet. This company employs nasty customer service people and I would advise anyone against ordering from this company. They do not stand behind their online return policy.

We certainly do accept returns on items returned in 100% brand new and unused condition. After reviewing the notes on the order, it looks like you had mentioned to our customer service team the shoes had been worn for 40 minutes, and when we received them back, they were no longer in 100% brand new condition. As noted online, unfortunately, we are unable to accept these back for refund since we would be unable to resell those as new. We did reach out to Skechers to see if we would be able to send these back, but as mentioned the fit of a shoe is not protected under warranty so a refund is not guaranteed. I have also sent your information along to senior management so they can review all interactions you had regarding this order to ensure our team is handling all situations in the correct and respectful manner. My item was never received by the payer. Customer service was little to no help and did provide any support when packaged appeared stolen. Customer has been shopping at holabird sports for many years and will no longer be using their site to purchase running sneakers.

Horrible service by everyone
Horrible shipping with Fed Ex. I will no longer do business here because they can’t get your product to you on a timely manner. They ship it fast, but they must not pay Fed Ex a premium price, because delivery times change and you never now when it will arrive. My pkg I’m waiting on has Sat in one place for 2 days. Then Fed Ex says they only have 1 truck😡🤣, so my order will be delayed and they have no idea when it will arrive! Do Not Shop Here…go to another site!!!!

After pulling up your order details, I see that your order was placed on Tuesday the 18th at night and the order was processed and shipped the following business day. Your order has shown that it is still in MD but it does not mean that it is not in transit. The estimated time of delivery is Saturday 4/22 which is ahead of schedule for orders delivered to the West Coast with our Free Super Saver Shipping method that was selected.
