We're sorry for any miscommunication that may have occurred with your last order from us. After checking our records, it appears that we called the phone number provided and left a message with your wife that your shoes are out of stock and unfortunately discontinued by the manufacturer. We offered you a special discount that you could use towards another pair for the inconvenience but needed you to call back with which pair you would like in replacement or to cancel the order. Since there was no reply in a week, we canceled the order and refunded your money. We value your business and hope that this situation does not affect your patronage to our small family owned business. We look forward to providing your next pair of shoes in the near future.

Bad communication
I placed an order, received a confirmation and saw the charge post to my card. Apparently, something happened with the charge authorization, and my order was later cancelled. However, I never received a cancellation notice and the order was shown as still processing online. I was only told it was cancelled after inquiry with customer service. By then my item was apparently sold out. Extremely poor communication and bad customer service.

It is unacceptable that your order did not process smoothly as we have processed your order previously with the same billing/ shipping address. Our system raises a red flag if an address does not appear right. If we can not confirm with a customer that the card holder is indeed placing the order, we cancel it for the card holders protection. Since you did place an order previously with the same information, it should have been processed as you ordered with us previously with the same information. Received a box of dead tennis balls
Received a box of tennis balls that were dead. Took three phone calls, several emails to get them returned and refunded. Poor customer service. Deleted my holabird account and will not order from them again.

They attempted to deliver your item at 10:15 am on July 10, 2018 in ROY, WA 98580 and a notice was left because no secure delivery location was available. You may arrange redelivery by using the Schedule a Redelivery feature here (https://redelivery.usps.com/redelivery/) or may pick up the item at the Post Office indicated on the notice beginning July 11, 2018. I paid for an item to be shipped out…
I paid for an item to be shipped out within 2 days. A representative from Holabird called me after I complained about my order not being shipped on time. The rep stated the item I ordered was out of stock. Here it is 2 weeks later and my item FINALLY came. I wouldn't recommend this site for any one.

Order was surprisingly canceled. Never got shoes.
My shipping address needed verification since it was different from my billing address. I called a couple of days after receiving an email to verify. About a week later, I called to check the status of my order and was told that I never verified the address and that my order was canceled. I had to reorder the item if I wanted it. I did not.

Shoes started falling apart after two days. I've owned a previous pair for over a year with little ware and tear from a brick and mortar store.

We never received our shipment, nor any notice explaining the problem

After tracking your order, it appears that USPS attempted to deliver your package but was unable to because the address provided may be incorrect, incomplete or illegible. They attempted to deliver on the 20th of June. Our tracking department will be looking in to see the status of your package whether it is being held at your local post office or on its way back to us, you will hear from us soon as to the next steps in getting you your order right away.

Someone attempted to call to verify why…
Someone attempted to call to verify why my shipping address was different than billing address, but I typed an incorrect digit at the end of my phone number, so that call was never received. My order was cancelled without an email letting me know the situation, and I had to call the company a week later to inquire about my order only to find out about it’s cancellation. Poor communication from this company.

Opted for free shipping …
Opted for free shipping and it took 2 weeks to get here, I opt for free shipping on a lot of online sites and it never takes over 5 days, with some only taking 3. 2 weeks is totally unacceptable.

Good prices, bad customer service
I ordered from HolaBird because the pricing was good. My shoes came with a defective shoelace. No biggy, right? So I called them (twice), but they said that they had no replacement laces and that I (not they) would have to contact the manufacturer (they gave me the e-mail address). Then HolaBird pretty much washed their hands of it. So I told the manufacturer what I needed and weeks later the manufacturer said they had mailed my laces, when in fact they had not. What they thought they had sent me would have been the wrong ones anyway. I reached out to HolaBird again and they thought I received my laces. I told them that I would send back the shoes and they suddenly were able to find a set of laces. It took six weeks from the time I placed my shoe order until I had the shoelaces.

Fabric at the top of shoe is bad
Wore the shoes twice and the fabric at the tips of the shoes is wearing off. First time buying this shoes brand, was recommended by my trainer for running and working out. Not sure why they would make the tip of a shoes with soft fabric like material instead of rubbber. Sent picture to customer service no response yet, but it’s only be 1 day.

I am giving a 1 star because holabird…
I am giving a 1 star because holabird cancelled my order with no notification. I was advised to call in an email the day after my order was placed to confirm my shipping address. I called as soon as I received the email. The customer service rep so all was set. Fast forward to 5/29. I hadn’t received my order yet. So I sent an email and I received a response today citing my order was cancelled due to my lack of confirming my shipping address. No apologies that they actually made the mistake. I sent them another email telling them how disappointed I was and that I had ordered from them for many years. Not any more. Their service was terrible.

Different model
I got different model of the item I purchased. My order is nylite canvass, but received nylite plus instead. I purchased here because nylite canvass here in Canada is out of stock in the stores I've been. If only I knew I would get this, I should have purchase it here, at least with the cheaper price. My experience is really bad.
