FP website withholding negative reviews
Attempted to leave a review of my honest opinion and realistic description of item I purchased. Thier website would not allow me to submit a rating less then 3 stars. Furthermore, I received an email informing me they would not post my review of the item because I stated I was not pleased with the low quality of the product. It's very dishonest and deceptive for them to withhold thier customers reviews of thier purchases to assist others in making informed choices and purchases of thier merchandise. No wonder thier items appear as 5 star ratings, these are the only ratings they show, and obviously omit all other customer ratings. I will never purchase from Free People again.

50.00 ecode gift with purchase was ALL A LIE
I’ve had problems with FP regarding sizing and lots of see through clothing because they use too cheap of fabric a lot if the time. I’ve also dealt with FP editing my reviews because they don’t want too much negativity written about their products. I still shop with FP more than any other company because I like their clothes. However, the worst thing they’ve done to date is advertising their recent 50.00 gift with purchase for 150.00 or more purchases between 12/8 - 12/14 EVERYWHERE and then it turns out it’s ONLY ONE PER CUSTOMER is COMPLETE BS! Literally every single order I placed during those dates stated there would be a 50.00 e-code sent on 12/18. THAT WAS LITERALLY STATED on every single order!! Today is 12/18 and I received only (1) 50.00 e-code. THIS IS THE WORST problem to date and I’m so angry I could spit nails. I now HATE this lying company. I’ve had it.

I ordered a pair of shoes to be delivered to the UK on the UK website. 1. The shoes I ordered using the Faster Delivery option (3 - 6 working days) are now due to arrive 8 working days later. I've been trying to get in touch with FP for the past 2 days to let them know I'll be out of the country and unable to receive the delivery and they are not getting back to me via email or Twitter 2. The sizing chart on the website wasn't clear. Sold out sizes were listed as US sizes, e.g. US6, US7, it wasn't clear at all whether available sizes were in US or UK sizes.

I would give them Zero stars!!!
I would give them a 1/2 star, if that was an option. I qualified for the $50 e-code after spending over $150 before 12/14. I have a receipt that states the promotion details, which validates my qualification. It was also confirmed in store that I qualified. Messaged with a Rep today. They were extremely rude and told me the promotion was only for orders purchased online, even though I had a receipt that stated otherwise. I was told that I was not eligible and that was it. I have been on hold for 25 minutes and still cannot reach a customer service rep. Free People, your customer service sucks and you are guilty of deceptive advertising. Never shopping with you again. Telling everyone I know that shops with you about my experience. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE AND SERVICE!!!!! 1/3/2020- After posting on this site, I received a response from Free People, which was nice. They did honor the promotion. I placed an order for an item on 12/26, using the code. The order has no update on shipping and states 'Has yet to ship'. I used the chat function to inquire about my order. It told me the order was processed and was ready to ship and referred me back to the order page. Not very helpful. Not sure if my order is going to ship. The last time this happened, I received a note from Free People that my item was no longer available. Hope that is not the case this time. We'll see..... 1/14/2020 - Free People canceled my order after telling me it was pulled and awaiting shipment. Didn’t receive any updates until I called and talked to customer service. Was told all was well and my order was shipping. Received an email today noting my order was canceled!!!! Promo code no longer valid. Never shopping with Free People again!

Love/Hate Relationship Continues
As a frequent Free People customer, I was not surprised to receive a coupon for $50.00 back after a purchase of $150.00 or more. Unfortunately, I also was not surprised to have trouble with redemption. I spend thousands of dollars per year on Free People products (love), but eventually, there is always a customer service issue (hate). Anticipating a problem, I proactively contacted customer service to make sure that my purchase was going to qualify for the $50.00 refund, and I was assured that it would be. Even though the redemption code wasn't going to be emailed until the next week, I was promised that it would be applied to my order, which is exactly what I had hoped for as I was trying to avoid a lot of issues getting my refund. Fast forward to the day that the code was to be delivered...no code. Next day...no code. I contacted customer service the next day and received no response. I waited a couple more days and contacted customer service again...no response. So I finally chose to "chat" with a customer service rep. and was told that my order didn't qualify. I explained that it had already been approved, but was rather rudely told that there was nothing they could do. I asked to speak to a supervisor, and was told there is no supervisor?!?! Hopefully, this review will help me get what has already been promised. I will update once the matter is resolved...

FP app withholds negative reviews...Tried to give my honest reviews on FP App twice, but none of them made it to the column to show other People... I purchased Birkenstock yara Habana EU38... and more than 20 days later, finally I got them( Christmas time, delivery is busy, no biggie) Great quality and beautiful shoes, but... they sent me one 38 and one 40 two different sizes!!!!! Merry Christmas to me. ..They processed the refund and said I can keep the shoes( the whole process through phone and email not even one apology) Also... I paid full price US$125 for these shoes, but the box has a red sticker showing DISPLAY

Such a Disappointment
So disappointed in my recent online experience with Free People. I have never been subject to a company “overselling” product. I purchased several items all of which are being shipped randomly. How tedious! And I just received an email telling me they have cancelled my order of a dress because they don’t have it in stock and cannot find one. Ummmm?? The third FP disappointment in one day was receiving my first item with horrendous craftsmanship. What a disgrace; Shame on FP. Cheap quality clothing for their price point. A smarter business model would be to perhaps upgrade their online systems as they do not appear sophisticated enough to hold large promotional events. Will definitely think twice before purchasing anything from them again.

Wretched service
Wretched service. I purchased 200.00 in Giftcards for coworkers and they never recieved them in their email. My money from my bank was taken it processed. Their online "Chat" is as useless as this attempt to do nice for my coworkers. Not how I wanted to start the New Year of showing gratitude.

Terrible Customer Service, Extremely displeased
I love free people and their clothes however their customer service is not the best. The online exchange was not processing and I called customer service, before I could even explain I wanted to do an exchange for a different pair she processed the payment for a refund. I did not want to have to go through the trouble of buying again and now I have to wait for my refund, hope they still have the correct pair of pants I want, and then do it all over. She was extremely rude over the phone and sounded miserable to be helping someone. Keep in mind I sent a customer service email to them which the chat room recommended I do and have not heard back at all. I am extremely displeased with this customer service and am debating even using their online system again because of how stressful this whole situation was. I just wanted this pair of lace up pants in time for a concert and now I will not be getting them. If I could give them less than a star for my customer service experience I would.

EVERY TIME I order-something in my order gets cancelled because they can't figure out the stock issue & they don't have what I want in stock for my order! It's ridiculous! It's 2020 Free People!!! I love your clothing but seriously!! Online folks... Please let me know a better place to get the same type of clothing & I will stop buying my clothes elsewhere!

Worst Customer Service Ever - Zero Stars
I wanted to place an order in their Boxing Day sale, which said I would receive 50%off at checkout but this was not working for me, so spoke to their Customer Services, she made me go through the whole process again a few times but the discount was still not applied. She then advised me to place the order, give her the order number and I would be refunded the difference but disconnected before I could advise of the order number. I rang them again, the lady I spoke to made me feel like an imbecile at first but then conceded and took the order number. On the 2nd December I emailed them with the order number and requested an update. Guess what, nothing! This is an American company who I thought were supposed to have excellent customer services.... not like us Brits who they seem to think will put up with anything. Their clothes, shoes & accessories are lovely but I am returning the items as I am not stupid enough to pay double what someone else could purchase them for. Surely a polite email from their customer service team confirming I had been in touch and my problem would be dealt with in blah blah days would have been a professional way of dealing with this. If I could rate them with zero stars I would.

I ordered some Christmas presents and Free People used Laser Ship for the delivery. In the ice storm and snow storm this pretend shipping company said they left the package outside an office building and therefore I can dispute it with my Bank. Free Peoples lack of responsibility in using a pretend shipping company now has zero business from me, forever. It took them 4 weeks and 3 phone conversations with them to tell me I need to dispute this with my bank. Good to know you don't want my business.

The customer service is terrible. And I will never do it again by order online from free People . I got twice that my package missing. we caught the delivery guy did not drop my package on the security camera. And so far we did not get any response from them especially they told us they will call us or email us about this situation. Bye free people

Reduced items don't get delivered
I ordered a jacket and a skirt on the 24th of December, then on the 25th I noticed that they went half price so I ordered them again with the intention of returning the first ones. The first order arrived within a couple of days but strangely enough I am still waiting for the second. Even though the websites says all the items ordered are still available. I even managed to get an order I put days after ordering the reduced items but not the reduced one. I already sent them an email about this mystery a week ago and I am still waiting for an answer.

Sad to say goodbye to freepeople
I have been ordering from free people for years now and yes, clothing is over priced for quality but it is unique. They have recently brought in some sort of verification system where you need to contact your bank to confirm your order, not only is this highly impractical but banks in the UK do not readily give these codes out as no money has left the account. I’m genuinely gutted as I do love the clothing but I really cannot waste time going through the rigmarole of being put on hold with my bank. Time to explore other options

WORST ONLINE PLATFORM
I don’t know why I keep insisting on ordering from free people. I love their clothes, but i seriously cannot understand how an online platform can be so bad in the 2020 when this is something that is already invented. First of all, i have tried placing my order 3 times, with 3 different cards and EACH time they send me an email after a few minutes saying my order is on hold and I need to contact my bank for an authorization code. But this makes no sense, as the bank says they are not able to provide an authorization code, and have never even heard of this before. Then you call customer service and they are super rude, and not helpful and tell me they can’t process my payment without the code. It’s no surprise that free people is the same company as Urban Outfitters which is even worst. I made an order which after a month hadn’t arrived. They told me it was lost, but it was never even tried to be delivered. After like 3 months it magically appeared. I don’t understand how they can’t fix this problem with their online service when it’s such a big company and a large part of their inventory is online.

I wish i could give it less than one stars. The amount of money i spend with Free People, you think their customer service would be a bit more helpful. I had the RUDEST chat with someone about a cancelled order...they never EVER offer like a tiny discount (10% even?) either like most places do for making you wait 2 weeks or 4 days or whatever it can be until your order was cancelled, like most businesses do...to go towards your next order with them. I dont expect it but when orders get cancelled left and right you think you'd be at least talking to someone who was polite about it, she couldn't have been more rude and it always seems to go that way whenever you use their CHAT system

I’m so upset with the lack of service you give. I pay way too much money not to have my package delivered to me on time and have it sent back and make me re order it again! I asked for a redelivery and it was still sent back just because it was missing my apartment number! Who cares! Leave it at the mailbox or the front desk! Seriously are you that aloof? I don’t think every one of your team members can’t figure this out. I paid for mailing and way too much for a not so great quality dress. I needed that dress tonight and you blew it. You ruined my entire night because you couldn’t just leave the package with the front desk. I even called and asked if you could send it to a store so I could pick it up, I chased them delivery usps down and couldn’t even get a call or anyone to help me!

She is so skilled with working with customers, making them feel comfortable, and problem solving in a considerate and thoughtful way. My daughters' both love Free People. This is the first time I've personally purchased from this store, but Riley has definitely made me a customer for life. She is an asset to your company.
