First and last time purchasing from FP. As others have said, terrible customer service. Two items returned in the same parcel, refund for only one received. A month later Still nothing other than its been escalated to the head office. Emails, chats phone calls - still nothing. It really shouldn't be this difficult.

I just don't have a problem with them
It's unfortunate that people have had poor experiences with this brand. I only have positive experiences so I feel it's useful to share this in case people are unsure. I have bought many things from Free People, and apart from a couple of issues with ordering I have received a first class service from them. I ordered some shoes yesterday and I received them today - gorgeous shoes too. The one time I did request a refund for an item I took it too one of their stores and I had the money back within a couple of days. The only thing that I would say is some of their more popular items like the Lux Layering top should be available in more sizes as they sell out so quickly. Fortunately I have so many of these now so I will unlikely be buying anymore.

Waiting over a month for a refund
Returned an item and am still waiting for my refund despite them saying they received it back a month ago. Really, really disappointing and at this point I’m worried I won’t see my £100 again. Is this company in trouble? It seems like it. Avoid ordering at all costs, if you receive your item, I hope you don’t need to return it because you might not get your money back.

Refund waiting and no help with customer services! I’ve phoned and mailed them the item has clearly been delivered to the warehouse and yet they are not refunding me over £160. Do not order from here

Disappointed
So upset as this was my favourite online retailer I had the app on my phone and loved browsing and occasionally treat myself from them. I started having this issue with my orders being cancelled. So I started placing orders on my husbands email address. Anyway I finally had chance to place another order today and it got cancelled so I thought I would give customer service a call. The lady on the other end of the phone told me they blocked my account as I owe them money as I never returned an item. So told me that basically I was a thief. I told her I have never not returned an item she told me it was in 2021 do I have evidence that I return it. I couldn’t believe it. I had never been contacted about this and I managed to find their tracking number via an email with Royal Mail which would show the error would have been with Royal Mail. She then informed me she would investigate and told me as a curtisey she would unblock my account. I can’t believe I called up to be told I had stolen and now as a gesture they will let me off! This was my favourite shop but I will not be called a thief and black listen and not ever being even contacted about it in 3 years.

I saw a warehouse Free people sale on face book and ordered merch. They are in company with a scam website called Crispsive. Shame on Free people and your overpriced garbage. Do yourself a big favor and steer clear of these two scam companies. They took my money and never recieved a thing.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! The most aweful customer services, I have had to write daily emails and contact them via facebook, there is never any record of my previous difficulties so have to repeat the story every time. The assistants do not speak english well. Go elsewhere!!

My first order turned into a nightmare
My first order turned into a nightmare. The express delivery isn't speedy at all, and my parcel got split in two. I've received one part, but the whereabouts of the other is uncertain. Communication from the courier is inconsistent, and contacting customer service has been frustrating—they keep switching agents every few minutes and aren't helpful. It's become a joke!

HORRIBLE TASTE IM MY MOUTH!
The first time I made a purchase from this company was great, order came quickly and everything was ok. I've made other purchases since that time and granted it wasn't a ton of money but it was my money none the less. One package they split into 2 shipments,one of which I got and the other I definitely did,even thought the company Lasership said they delivered.Free people handled it and I got refundes for the missing PKG. Now this last order was hell. Lasership they company they insist on shipping with once again claimed they delivered and left the PKG outside the door at 11:30 pm. Really! At half hr to midnight on a busy street outside my business? Needless to say that PKG I never got now it more than a week marked delivered even though they said they investigated. Free people how ever that's they did their own investigation as well and his now denied my claim,so no pkg and no refund. How and why is that? Why don't the shippers have their people take pics when a delivery is down or ask for a name when delivered. This shipping company has a track of saying they delivered stuff when they certainly hadn't. Now I'm the one paying for their incompetence. You've lost me for sure FREE PEOPLE....NEVER AGAIN A CUSTOMER!

Useless, unhelpful Customer service
Pointless to add to the long list of frustrated customer but agee wholeheartedly the CS is rubbish. Finally after a dozen emails, chats & calls they refund me but for the wrong order! Had it of been for more I’d of shut my mouth for the trouble but it’s not its for another lesser order!! I thought ASOS CS were bad!! But for a high end fashion company this CS is unacceptable!

Whenever I create an online order its getting delivered in 10 workdays (their website promises 5-7). I paid for express shipping, its been 8 workdays today and did contact the customer servise and they asked me to wait for 2-3 workdays to investigate. Guys think like this do I randomly come and pick an item from your store and refuse to pay promising I would pay in 2-3 days? The quality is not the best, prices are ridiculous, you've got a limited number of customers like me still buying so at least give them a good servise for gods sake.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Take your business elsewhere and don't order from this company. A package with a different name and address was delivered to my house. I couldn't find the address on Google maps, or I would've run it over myself. I called Customer Service hoping they could give the person who ordered my contact info to make arrangements to get their package. The man who answered was completely uninspired to assist. He said only a supervisor could help and was about to disconnect the phone rather than summon one. I caught him before he hung up to ask for a supervisor. The "supervisor" started the call with an annoyed tone. After I explained the situation, she said there was no way of contacting the person who ordered. Say what? I had a name, address and order number in front of me. She said, "We're not going to do that" and, if I wanted her to send a label to return the merchandise, she would, or I could just throw the package away. I told her, "Someone's waiting on a package that's never going to come." She replied, "If she calls and tells us she didn't receive it, we'll issue a refund." I told her people who order things want what they ordered, not their money back!" This company did not care one iota! Fortunately, after a heavy Google search, I found a business connected to the customer's name and left a message. She was so grateful. She had lost hope her dress would come and she needed it for a MEMORIAL service tomorrow. Shame on Free People! That department should be called Customer NO Service.
