The WORST store
Literally the worst online shopping experience I've ever had. They sent me totally different products than what I ordered, and the 2 items which were sent correct were USED! The boots clearly had scuff marks on the bottom. After I returned all the products to them, they just delayed and delayed and one day just removed my return request and then they behave like there was no return. And even after sending them the return confirmation email which also had the return label, they now choose to just ignore my mails. I now believe that their parent company's are also a fraud. They are owned by the Urban Outfitters Company, and all their brands are carrying out a scam

No refund
Have been charged twice for something I bought in January. The order dispatch date was pushed back twice. I contacted the customer service on the live chat and was told I would receive a refund but still haven’t had anything. I’ve just tried to call them on the number given on the ‘contact us’ page but it just says they aren’t taking calls and says to use the online chat help which is nowhere to be found. Basically they’re uncontactable unless I send a letter. Pretty fed up with how much times been wasted.

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Three a message chat, 3 phone calls and 2 emails and the problems still not resolved. Disinterested people answering the phone. I won’t be buying anything else from a company that don’t put any effort whatsoever into their customers. I would also advise reading the clothes reviews before buying because the quality doesn’t match the price tag

Do not shop here customer service messed up two of my orders i had to send back my first one pay 100 dollars shipping all for them to send me the wrong colour again then give me a refund and expect me to send it back and pay with my refund for their mistake they couldn’t send another one that i wanted because it was out of stock but never asked me if i wanted a different colour free of charge and never asked my permission for a refund or let me no i would have said no because i had to pay more to send it back never had a issue with them the whole three years i have shopped there till now i am so angry will be rethinking shopping here very upset now voucher nothing to help me just more charging me now 250 no ownership

Order an item Mar 4th supposed to be 5-7 days delivery, then i get a notification the item is on back order and then 10 days later i get another email saying my order was cancelled due to no available stock! NOW 10 days later i call bc i do not see charge reversed on my credit card! Wait 40 mins on line to speak to an agent who had to release the authorization for the order to get my credit! Then she hung up on me! NEVER AGAIN will i deal with this company! No customer service whatsoever.. its like they screw up and the customer has to chase the credit for the cancelled order! What a joke

Free People Blacklists Customers
Ordered an item that was shipped via LaserShip. LaserShip marked the packaged “delivered” but no package was delivered to our home. Security cameras confirmed that NOTHING was delivered that day. LaserShip refused to help, so I reached out to Free People. They agreed to refund me. I tried to reorder the item, only for the item to be immediately cancelled because I have apparently been blacklisted. Extremely sketchy on Free People’s part to ban customers for no fault of their own!

Excellent all round service!
I decided to buy my wife a pair of summer shoes that they liked and they were being sold via FreePeople.com. I know she had used them in the past so thought nothing of it until I read the reviews which to be fair were pretty awful. I was going to cancel my order but soon after ordering I received confirmation that my order had been processed and would soon be despatched. As such I decided to hold my nerve and again I soon got notification that had been shipped and would be delivered via Royal Mail. Again, based on other reviews, I was not 100% sure if the item would be received as hoped but within days of the email confirmation the shoes arrived. Again value for money is subjective but the quality seems to be very good and my wife is really happy. Normally I wouldn't take the time to post reviews but I felt that I needed to provide some balance to the recent poor reviews.

I returned 4 items to Free People and…
I returned 4 items to Free People and never received a refund which would’ve totalled £250. Customer service in US appalling and rude - 1 person okay. I bought 3 other items which have been good but I will never buy from them again in case I need to return an item. I notice that they are indifferent to their reviews on here.

Can take money from your account, READ below;
I purchased two dresses from free people £496, I was able to create an account and the payment processed however I did not receive a confirmation email and the order did not appear on my order history in my account. Customer service were not helpful and i'm still waiting for this to be resolved. Worst of all ... when looking into this myself and checking my bank statement, usually for the likes of zara, asos etc the payment type is 'card payment' however for free people it states 'recurrent payment' upon looking into this, this means they have access to take money from your account!!!

I ordered a jacket for ,£188 when it came one of the jeans style buttons fell of it had broken and it definitely was not worth the money however I did like the style very much so just decided to get it replaced and live with the fact that it was over priced. However when the replacement arrived I could not believe the state of the hood all round the edge looked like it had been chewed by mice how they could even contemplate send it out like that is beyond believe.

Horrible Customer Service
The movement is that this company is very very poor in Customer Service. I ordered an expensive item on 3/18/23. I had an estimated delivery date of 3/26/23. Never received the item. I called to inform the company, Free People. The Rep said to call back in a couple of days. I did that. The second Rep said to call back in a day. I did that. The third Rep said to call back the next day. I did that. I am getting the runaround. No one will help me. I even went to their Corporate and complained. I get nowhere. All I want to know is where my order is or give me a refund. Is that too much to ask? No, I do not think so. Macy's and Nordstrom have way better customer service. You all need to attend their school of excellent Customer Service.

Lucky if you get your package
Lucky if you get your package. For regular shipping, they use lasership which half the time the packages are lost or stolen. If you upgrade shipping to FedEx or UPS, they do not get them out on time and they arrive late. Customer service is no help and .Horribly run company. Drop lasership and get your act together

Horrible!!!! The website states 1-3 days to refund your account and I just called and Raven and Katrina, the most rude people give you attitude when its their company inconveniencing people!!!! They received my return 5 days ago and they are sitting on it. Will never buy there again!!!!

Usually I never post any comment but for this case I have to. Worst shop online ever. First time buying Free People clothing and they canceled my order for no reasonable reason. Even though I reached out to them on Instagram and by e-mail to ask them why they did it ? They asked me to CALL them to process the order. Hello! I don’t live in US, should I just call you at 3am ? Would you also pay the phone bill ? Doesn’t make sens. There are plenty of clothing brands that make clothes as nice as your brand. Honestly, you should reconsider your methods when it comes to your website. How can such a popular brand have so many bad reviews on Trustpilot. You need to rethink your methods! Such a shame, just lost a potentially client.

Worked for me!
After reading all the reviews below I was so worried my order would be a disaster and given the money I had spent (they aren’t cheap!) I panicked. However my experience was the complete opposite to the below. I’m in the UK and I received the first part of the order the day after I placed the order and the rest a week later, the quality of the clothes is next level and I will 100% be ordering again. I love their unique pieces and have to say I received emails with updates about my order. Perhaps they have sorted out their customer experience ? Anyway I wanted to share my experience.
