Terrible Terrible! Stay far away.
Terrible! Stay far away. Placed an order a month ago and I keep getting lame excuses why they haven't shipped, they tell me they are backordered but they are not when I call other places, then they tell me to get my prescription changed to something that they have in stock?? Really???? Canceled my order. Yes, they told me that they couldn't get them and that they checked with everyone else and they were also out of stock which was a lie. Stay away from this Gray market site!

We did want to inform you of this delay as soon we were advised in order to give you as much time as possible to make alternate arrangements, if necessary. Unfortunately the lenses have not arrived from the supplier as estimate as otherwise the order would have been shipped a lot faster. We would have no reason to delay any order when all the products are in stock and available to ship right away. We would also like to apologize for any misunderstanding our backorder email may gave created, we have not stated in any way that nobody would have your lenses, what we meant was that a backorder delay would affect any company trying to obtain the product at the same time from the suppliers. The suggestion regarding another brand of lenses was made out of pure desire to help and have the order shipped faster. Been buying contacts from …
Been buying contacts from opticontacts/lensdiscounters for many years. Recent order I ordered on July 30th, today is August 14th and my order has yet to ship. I spoke with support on friday and they said they were going to ship out that day but all they did was print out a shipping label to make it look like they shipped them out when they didn't. They will send you an email saying delays are not typical but it's been happening like the last 2 yrs with them. Also their prices vary greatly between their websites for whatever reason. I've ordered contacts from another vendor if I get them before I get the order from opticontacts then this will probably be the last time I buy from them.

Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused by the delay. The lenses were scheduled to be shipped on Monday which was the 10th business day of the backorder. We did receive the lenses from the supplier on Friday and our shipping department tried to have the order shipped that day however as you may see on the tracking page they were only able to prepare the shipping label at 2:12 PM and the cut off time is 2:00PM. Therefore the package was picked up by the mail carrier on Monday the 15th. They have also upgraded shipping for you to compensate for the delay. Regarding our prices, they will vary based on the prices we pay at our turn with the supplier. As well, from time to time and usually once per year, the manufacturer imposes slight price increases (nation-wide) which can affect our selling prices. We'll always strive to provide you with a competitive price but unfortunately we are unable to maintain the same price when our purchasing costs raises. I placed an order with opticontacts about a month ago and NEVER received my order and have not received any kind of refund. I have called and emailed several times and have received no information about my order of over $100 that I do not have. Don't order with this company. I will not order from them again.

Shipping and prices are great but …
Shipping and prices are great but return policy...not so great. My rx changed and I have unopened lenses (not in box) that they will not exchange for store credit on my new rx. Therefore I am stuck with lenses that I cannot wear. If you use this company beware of their policy.

beware 7 day price match and multiple prices
Have bought from them previously and they had the lowest price. service was decent. Recently purchased from them and then found a lower price at another retailer which they then refused to honor first saying they wouldnt as it was already discounted. I sent them a screen shot of their order page saying that they would offer the 7 day price match. They then responded they wouldnt honor it due to the fact that it was a "special offer" which was the discounted price for ordering 4 boxes. The exact same offer they and every other online retailer gives, which basically mean their price match is worthless. Additionally, before I ordered, I had gone to the site and used their re-order function. The price on the item was significantly higher than it had been so I looked on google. The link from google took you to a different page with a better price and a different picture. Overall, they are decent retailer, but beware their price gouging and be aware they will not honor their price match.

UPDATED! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!
Placed order on October 25 and received an email following day on October 26th informing me of a 7-10 business days (not including Saturday or Sunday) before my order would ship due to not being in stock. I sent a polite email explaining with this delay and free regular shipping (which I was willing to wait for which was listed as 3-6 days if they had my lenses in stock) that I would be waiting 3 weeks before receiving my lenses. They replied nicely enough and apologized for the delay and offered to upgrade to priority mail shipping. Called a few days later and the customer service person assured me they would be in by November 7 and would ship the same day. Sent email on November 8 when my status of order remained unchanged at "processing" and received an email informing me of ANOTHER delay with ANOTHER wait of 3-5 business days. I called and spoke to customer service and got the same information. I think I will just keep getting more emails with "regret to inform you of another delay"! How many more "business day delays" do they think are acceptable to keep telling their customers? Maybe this company should not advertise certain brands of lenses if they cannot fulfill orders in a reasonable amount of time. Waiting 3 to 4 weeks for something is ridiculous! ***UPDATE*** Cancelled my order after I called the day I was told my order would arrive and ship out and the service representative told me there would be another "extended delay" of another 7-10 business days. I dont understand how this company even stays in business. I would rather pay the higher price (30-40 dollars more) at my eye doctors office then deal with this type of service. WILL NEVER AGAIN PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THEM!

ordered contacts but they never arrived
ordered contacts but they never arrived. Took about a month for them just to ship the contacts as they apparently were out of stock. After they did ship the item the shipping carrier marked the item as delivered but I never received the order. Aside from losing about a hundred dollars I am out of contacts and that is not safe!!! They did try somewhat to assist, and previous orders were fine however this past order was a complete nightmare!

We did start an investigation with USPS for you. USPS generally requires a minimum of 5 business days to investigate the lost package inquiry before they can provide a resolution. Luckily since these are prescription contact lenses and are of no use to anyone else, if the package did get delivered to the wrong address the shipment will be re-routed back to you or returned back to the sender. In the meantime while USPS in investigating this delivery could you please use the sample note that was e-mailed to you earlier to tape on the outside of your mail box? We do have a lot of success when that sample note is used. We will continue to check with USPS on a regular basis and we will certainly make every effort to speed up the process wherever it's possible to do so. Thank you for your patience with this matter. Good pricing but unreliable delivery and customer support
Second time I've placed an order only to still not arrive 2 weeks after placing the order. As with the last time, I called them and they claimed to have sent me a message saying the order is delayed from the manufacturer and there is no sign of any message from them even in my junk folder. Do not use them if you are hoping for a rapid turn around on your order. The price is fair but timely delivery and customer service is questionable.

Month-long wait.
I ordered my contacts on the December 8th, it's now the 29th and I still haven't received my order. Customer Service rep was very nice. She explained that they still haven't received the lenses from their supplier and it will be another week and a half before they even begin shipping to me. The month-long process, however, is unacceptable. As other customers here have pointed out. OptiContacts should have alerted me that they didn’t have the inventory on hand PRIOR to me placing the order. So far, the (additional) $19.19 "Handling" fee that I was charged for my order has been unwarranted.

To order was easy but when i got them 😔☹️
To order was easy but when i got my new contacts i put them on and from the box of left eye two of them I couldn’t see with, they were bad. Until the third one i coud see so I waisted two , so now instead to have six months just only have 4 month from left eye 😒

OptiContacts was unable to source the contact lenses that I needed and left me hanging for over 45 days without any proactive communication. Their response was to sell me only the left eye and require me to go through the entire Rx verification process with another vendor for the right eye. If you can't fulfill the order of the product you sell (and continue to sell) on your website, how are you a legit business?

BEWARE
Prepared my order for four boxes of contacts, using a 5% discount code. Lens’ were $29.93 per box. My total was $167.00 Not adding up, I contacted customer service who then tells me the boxs are over $50 each and the $29.93 was a promotion. “The price difference was either that or the processing fee.” Did not add up either way...BEWARE. I did not order!

Great price for no product.
After 2 weeks I had not received my order. I tracked the package to find that they had put the wrong zip code on the label and it was sent back. When I requested they sent it next day delivery they obliged. 5 days later I still haven’t received my contacts. When I called and requested I receive this order for free I was talked in circles. Garbage company.

Dishonest pricing
Dishonest pricing. Looks cheaper than other retailers, but OptiContacts adds a $50 "processing fee" and "free" shipping is unavailable for many products, so your purchase ends up more expensive than other retailers. Also their return policy is bogus. They do not refund the expensive processing or shipping fees. The return policy does not mention this at all. Customer service is rude and combative. Will never buy from OptiContacts again.

Opticontacts say that their product is…
Opticontacts say that their product (that I ordered) is "in stock - ships fast" and yet I receive an email shortly after saying that these contacts are out of stock and will have to wait 5-7 BUSINESS days. So much for 3-6 day shipping... I go back on the page later to see the same thing plastered on it - "in stock - ships fast" even though that isn't the case. I would be waiting up to two weeks before I even get it shipped to me. The pricing was good, but at the cost of convenience. If a product is not in stock, don't advertise them as "in stock". I had already had a problem with Ezcontacts not living up to what they advertised, and I hope Opticontacts can resolve this better than the previous seller I used.
