I would give "0" stars if I could
I would give "0" stars if I could! Still waiting for my order after 2 weeks. I have emailed my concerns but, have not received a response. I would have never ordered from this company if I would have known it would take this long. They should be honest with their customers about turn around time. They have lost at least 3 customers because of this order. So sorry I ordered from this company!

It has been over 5 weeks, no contact lenses, and I was charged.
I ordered my contact lenses on 11-16-19, and I got an email saying they were back-ordered for 2-5 days. On 12-16-19, I realized I never received my contacts. I emailed Opticontacts, and they said they would overnight my contacts by the end of the week. It is now 12-22-19, and I still don't have them. I don't have any backups. It's Christmas, and my kid broke my glasses. What a nightmare!! Oh, I also already paid for them.

BEWARE of the FALSE Advertising and extra fees at checkout
Ordered contacts from Opticontacts a couple weeks ago and their site advertised a $50 rebate was available for them. Through the ordering process it kept on popping up that my order total would be $50 less once I completed the rebate which was to be included with my order. Once I received my package there was no rebate. I called and they said to call the manufacturer. Manufacturer informed me that I had to purchase them by 11/30 and told me to go back to where I ordered them from to get compensated for their false advertising. Called Opticontacts back and they said would not honor it even though they are still advertising the $50 rebate on their site but you have to find the fine print that states you have to order by 11/30... this is a month past the deadline and they are still trying to trick people into thinking they will get a $50 rebate. Terrible!!! Also watch out for the shipping and additional handling fees.

The rebate has not been removed from the website as customers that have ordered up to that date have 90 days from the order date to submit their rebate. Never have I ever....
If I could give them a zero i would. They took 6 days of inactivity on my order before I had run out of patience and I still cancelled my order BEFORE they processed my information. I called wanting a resolution..none were to be had. They claim they have a standard order period for specialty lenses of 1-3 days additional wait time and thatvisbit posted all over their website. It is NOT. I did find it under fine print in shipping section at the bottom of the page backlit with grey. The man I initially spoke with spoke over me with excuses and refused to hear his customer who had paid for services not rendered. I was then transfer to a manager at my request. She was more professional with her conversation, but by that point I just wanted my money back. They readily cancelled my order and refunded money on their end. Now I will wait for my bank to get it together and then I'll order some from a much more reputable company and pay a little bit more but I tell you now IT IS NOT WORTH SAVING 20 DOLLARS TO SHOP WITH THIS COMPANY. I have never experienced such inaccuracies nor such lackadaisical employees. I hope I save a lot of people the trouble and steer you clear of this "business". Also they work 9-5 eastern time and they don't work holidays or weekends. None of them. So they are not what they claim in their ads except cheaper. They are that. . But as the saying goes ' you get what you pay for' and their "service" shows it. Also, I thought it quite ridiculous that they have reviews on their website but no where to leave one. I'm sure this why. I edited this be cause reading through these reviews makes me think of when I leave a review... it was either great or awful and usually i use description and copious amount of detail. All of the negative reviews sound like real people leaving reviews imo. Their good reviews sound like they have people leaving fake reviews. I have no proof just my opinion, but I don't believe they deserve such a rating when it's fake especially. This misleads us hard working people who just want to spend money we worked for and spent hours of our life on to SEE properly.. Promptness is something they boast of on their website. HA! This company is a sham.

Dont Pay for Premier Shipping
Ordered contact lenses Saturday and paid an extra 20 bucks to get them next day instead of waiting 5-7 days. I should have just gotten normal shipping, FedEx tracker says they wont be here until Thursday. Basically gave em 20 extra bucks for nothing.

NEVER AGAIN!
Very difficult dealing with customer service, long process and ended up not giving me the contacts I ordered. After a LOT of back and forth, over 1 month and 1 week, I finally got contacts (wrong brand, correct RX). I had to keep my order, as I had already been waiting over 1 month and desperately needed contacts. They claimed my contacts were on back order. I learned my lesson and will NEVER order from OptiContacts.com again!

So frustrated with this company
So frustrated with this company Don't believe the claims that orders ship same day or next or that they will keep you informed of any delays in your order. After nearly two weeks, with no communication from them (and after I paid for expedited shipping) I was told that the contacts had not reached them from the manufacturer and it would be another week. Were they ever going to let me know? Definite failure in communication. Will find another source for contact orders next time.

Secrets
I first went on their site to order contacts and the price was around $60 and then I checked back an hour later and the prices had changed to $90 for the same box of contacts. They also had a special going for a free pair of eyeglasses but hid the processing and handling fee at the bottom of the page. The only reason I noticed it was because the price seemed to be significantly off from what I expected to pay for $90 contacts and free glasses. They also took away my free shipping when I returned to the site an hour later. I am very unhappy with their site and them and will never order anything from them again.

I placed an order for contacts on January 4th and on January 8th called customer service to make a correction to my prescription and the guy was very helpful and nice. On January 13th, I received an email notifying me that a shipping label was created and on the 14th the package had been received for shipping. Now I understand the USPS is slow but the company waited till the last second on their supposed 3 day processing terms to get my order shipped. Today is now January 20th 2020 and my contacts are finally supposed to be delivered tomorrow the 21st. I called the customer service and they were without a care in the world that I was not happy with my experience with their company and they were not willing to do anything for me for my inconvenience. When I spoke to the supervisor and asked for her supervisor I was told there is no other supervisor to speak to above her. I told her that I was going to cancel my order and she didn't care and just told me that I would be refunded upon the return of the shipment and that I would be responsible for shipping. This was a horrible experience! So if you want your contacts in a timely manner with better customer service use a different company!!

Check you cart- BEWARE of deceptive pricing!!
They clearly list a box of contacts for $55.44. They clearly state that a one year supply, 8 boxes will cost $443.52. This is ADVERTISED on their site. When checking out, a SERVICE and HANDLING FEE of $148.23 is added to the total- in extremely fine print! First, this is false advertising- maybe not against the law, but immoral and pitiful. Second, how do you justify almost $150 for "handling" when I'm paying separate for shipping?

Beware of unauthorized fees
Beware of unauthorized fees! I was misinformed by the company's advertisement and follow up on my refund for my contact order. OpticContact charged me not one but two unauthorized processing fee $43.20 plus unknown $39 charge associated with my omline purchase which incurred an interest of $12.88 on my credit card. GRAND total over $310!!!! For contact lens. Marina from customer service claims all charges as advertised and sincerely hope that I am happy with the Total price that I did not authorize. OptiContact does not care if you are happy as long as they have your money. They will make their money back with fees!

I cannot recommend this company for contact lenses or anything for that matter. I have been emailing and calling for a week now on an order that has not shipped, yet they continue to tell me it has shipped. No, a shipping label has been created and that is it. Do not buy from them if you want your order in any sort of timely manner, if at all. I will correct this review if I ever see our order and I don't expect to, so there will be a dispute filed with our bank. Updated 2/17/20: Contacted by OptiContacts via this complaint. I gave trouble ticket number and was told to call customer service. Obviously, I have already called customer service because I have a trouble ticket number. I have also used their ever so helpful email feature to find out where the order is. Now OptiContacts says call customer service again. I'm not playing this game. The bank and the BBB is next, for reversal of charges for the items I have not received. This is no way to run a business. Side note: I have reordered from another company because the contacts are needed badly. The order with another company was processed AND shipped within 45 minutes of ordering. The only reason I went with OptiContacts was because of trying to save a little bit of money. However, after the trouble I have been through, I would rather pay double the price and actually get what I paid for. I only wish I would have seen this site before ordering so I would know what I am dealing with beforehand. Update 02/18/2020: Still missing half our order and still waiting on refund from 02/07/2020 order. They will tell you they have no control after a shipping label is created. Don't believe it. I'm off to call the bank and fill out BBB Form now. Oh be sure and look up that phone number on your charges. There are several companies under this phone number. I wonder if the contacts are even real or knock offs based on our experience and who are these people giving them good reviews? They have to be bots. Update 02/29/20: Refund issued for partial order that was 'lost'. Updated 07/11/2020 I never replied to your response after the fact, because it was a waste of time. Refund finally received after way too many emails and calls. A good start for this company would to stop creating shipping labels for nonexistent shipments.

Worst worst worst company I’ve ever…
Worst worst worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Haven’t written a review (ever) unless it’s been positive but this company has pushed me over the edge to the point I’m motivated to do anything I can to divert good people from doing business with this company. They’re great when the order arrives as planned. HOWEVER!!!!! .......should there be a glitch (and there has been each time I’ve ordered with them) ...cue the crickets and tumbleweeds. This company blames the customer. Does nothing to help. They’re laughable. 1800 contacts. More expensive. Customer service second to none. Any company except this one. Order from your personal ophthalmologist. Costco. But NEVER give your valuable business to this company. I’ve given them ten chances..... In this case you get what you pay for. Nothing.

Slow with absurd “handling” fees
They charge a ridiculous amount in handling, them it takes them five days to ship? I asked for a status and they sent me a tracking but when I clicked on it, there was no tracking number attached. No tracking number listed in the tracking summary either. It’s been two weeks and I’m still waiting for my lenses.

Still have NOT received lenses
Ordered lens on 2/12/2020 , pre shipment tracking number received on 2/13/2020. Paid for quick shipping. Called today as tracking has not progressed. They blamed USPS saying they messed up the tracking. Refunded shipping cost. No contacts today however. 12/19/2020. Need to change current lenses next week and ordered with time to spare now I don’t know if I’ll receive them with all the similar reviews. Pay more somewhere else and receive the lens.

Item was not delivered when promised
Item was not delivered when promised. Customer service can’t give me a date of when it will arrive. Emails were never answered. In the mean time I have no contacts even though I ordered in plenty of time to avoid this happening!

Ordered a very expensive package of…
Ordered a very expensive package of contacts and Opticontacts only insured the package for $100. Which is appropriate for smaller shipments but seeing as the total value was almost three times that and the package is not delivered (although USPS says it was) it seems I am out $280. Whether this package was lost or stole, I am disappointed it was not insured for a more appropriate amount. I contacted customer service. They weren't helpful and they did not return my email.

Quick and easy!
Ordered my contacts on Sunday with express shipping as I hate wearing my glasses lol, I accidentally put in the wrong prescription numbers. They quickly notified me the next day and it was an extremely easy fix. My order was processed and is out for delivery right now(Tuesday). I haven’t received the contacts so I’ll update this review when I do . I was hesitant at first because of reading other reviews But this has been such an easy process thus far couldn’t be happier ! Will be re ordering in 6 months if all is well with my package! *update contacts received on time correct prescription no complaints here ! Will order again when necessary!
