Wish the thing worked, worse, wish they would support it.
Bought this safe to supplant the other 2 Vaultek safes I have already. I thought the humidor would be cool. Unfortunately it doesn’t work. When I tried to let support know, I got nothing When they work. They work great.

This product doesn’t secure my safe…
This product doesn’t secure my safe securely. The weight of the safe causes the provided bolts and hardware to become loose and hang on the floor of my car, making it hard and time consuming to retrieve my firearm. I recommend not buying this product.

unit ok but customer service not good .
Ordered a red white and blue shielded unit but got a pink unit I probably would have been happy with almost any color but pink. E mailed copy and got no respond's from them. Unit itself seems very nice But I think service was not up to quality of unit .

Something is wrong!!!
I’ve had my Vaultek safe for a few years now and have been very happy with it. Unfortunately it never shipped with the spare keys. So I finally decided to request the keys and I ordered the lanyard for it so could keep the safe in my car. When I received the keys I tried them out. I was able to open the safe but for some reason my safe no longer locks.

If you bought something from Vaultek…
If you bought something from Vaultek and you have an issue where you have to return something or something never got delivered as your order suggests it did... ...be prepared to jump through a series of very large hoops to get your order resolved. They are not trying to help you. Trust me. As we speak, Vaultek is holding my money hostage on items I never received, and I have been going back and forth with them on this for over a week now and still have not seen a refund or the items that were lost being shipped out as a replacement. ...and that is all before you really get to the meat of what you paid all that money for. It isn't cheap. But it's very cheap!!! It's a gimmicky, wonky, weapons cabinet and they aren't really worth the price tag. Shop around. You'll get more bang for your buck by just avoiding them out right. I promise. Update: Here we are a month later. After fighting with them for days on end I finally managed to get them to send me what I paid for. Well surprise, surprise! They sent me the wrong item. It’s comical at this point how bad they dropped the ball here. Vaultek if you’re reading this…Product, Time or Money. Y’all owe me all 3, but I’ll take either of them at this point. Fix it or goes a whole lot further than just an email conversation…

I bought this gun safe
I bought this gun, safe for the finger print ID to open the safe quickly. It does not work as advertised. Can’t even get it to function at all. Don’t buy this safe if you’re using it for the biometrics because it does not work.

I have never even used this product…
I have never even used this product except to learn how to use it. I let it sit in my spare bedroom for quite awhile before I finally decided to use it. When I tried to charge it and plug it into the Micro-USB charging port the port pushed into the unit not allowing me to get it plugged in. The safe is brand new, never used and is broken. When I contacted Vaultek they said my warranty had expired and would not fix nor replace it. I would have to pay for shipping to and from and repair costs. It has been sitting ever since I got it. Without me using it on a regular basis there is NOTHING I did to break that charging port. Other than this broken pot the safe seems awesome, but no good if I can't charge it.

Unfortunate Waste of Money
I struggled between a 1-star and 2-star review because I have a Vaultek Safe in my garage and it’s perfect. However, the Vaultek Slider Series deserves a 1-star. I bought this product solely for vehicle use. It comes with a mounting plate and a strap that wraps around the seat that looks like it belongs on a fanny pack! I quickly realized that was not a sufficient mounting method to hold the weight of the safe. I have a BuiltRight molle panel that I mounted this to and used weather stripping around the back of the mounting plate as to not mount metal to metal. Here comes the best part….I COULD HEAR THE RATTLING OF INTERNAL COMPONENTS OVER MY RADIO!! I troubleshot by riding in the back of my own vehicle and just listened. The slider drawer itself is not a tight fit. You can move it with one finger up and down and side to side even when it’s closed. There is 1/16+ gap all the way around which equates to 1/8+ (may be closer to 3/16) of wiggle room altogether. The front hits the side walls and the back of the slider moves freely as well. I don’t know how Vaultek can write a description and illustrate use in a vehicle seriously. Very little R&D if any was done for vehicle use. Now it just sits in my garage collecting dust because this product miserably failed for in vehicle use. I will not be recommending Vaultek Slider Series to anyone.

Do not trust these safes! Beware!
Do not trust these safes!! I have three Vaulteks. They only last maybe a couple years before going shotty. I have the Slider Series, Original (master code only) and the Lifepod. The slider series was working great and then all of sudden, when I go to unlock it by finger print, master code and app it will blink green, but the lock will not disengage. 100% battery. This would put be in a very bad situation if I needed the firearm quickly. I can no longer trust the safe to work when I need it to. Go with something else. Save your money.

Your credit card policy makes it…
Your credit card policy makes it difficult to buy anything. There is no way I am going to send you a utility bill to verify my identity. Figure out another way to do business without inconveniencing the customer. I went to Turners and bought a competitor’s safe instead.

Don’t waste your money
I purchased the smart station bedside clock/ safe with the biometric fingerprint scanner. Complete disappointment. For that price you should expect a certain level of quality, and for it to work properly. The biometric scanner was a bust. It took almost an hour to get it to work with my finger prints, then a week later I tried my finger prints again and it didn’t work, and showed that the safe was tampered with by my own finger prints. I installed the Bluetooth app on my phone. A week later the safe wouldn’t work with it. I’m returning it to Cabelas where I purchased it. Don’t waste your money.
