I like your product and have been using…
I like your product and have been using it for over 5 years and the only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because I haven't been able to see my invoices for my monthly fees for a few months now. I would think a company whose main business is tracking expenses would be able to sort our this issue faster than it has. Liza did a great job in trying to get things resolved and emailed a copy of my invoice so I could reconcile my credit card statement and I appreciate her efforts. As soon as I can see my invoices without jumping through hoops I will give a five star rating.

Neat Scanner software was supported again w/ latest MacOS!
I was very disappointed in 2020 when I learned that the Neat Co announced that they discontinued software support for their scanners. They were moving in the direction of info management. I purchased the software for about 67% of the hardware scanner that I had bought several years ago. I was not able to get it to work & did not have time to address due to competing priorities, instead relying on the iPhone scanning apps. Subsequently, I saw an "annual" renewal which I was upset about. When I finally called, the rep stated that the company now was supporting the updated Mac software & had a cheaper package. He walked me through the installation process & I was thrilled to have my scanner functional again! I was also thrilled to see him plan to refund me > $150! If so, I will now again be a supporter of this product (ND-1000)! === 2023: unfortunately, they discontinued their software support for the great scanner so I discontinued with their service…

Good patient customer service
Hi Anna helped me Friday afternoon and I learned a lot from her! She was also patient with me as I had to stop her quite a few times for clarification due to my hearing loss. However, I wonder how crystal clear your phone connection is because there seemed to be an issue with her voice breaking up often.

I was disappointed by the high cost of…
I was disappointed by the high cost of the annual Neat fee and requested cancelation. The representative, Ramon said he could give me a discounted rate for this year if I'd stay. I stayed for this year, but I'm hoping Neat offers a cheaper product choice for next year.

I don't have a specific incident, but...
I don't have a specific incident, but I have been using Neat for many years and although it is a generally fine product and works well with no major issues, I have several points to bring up. 1. The ACCOUNT NO. field only allows whole numbers; no letters, no leading zeros and no periods or other characters. This field should allow these other characters. 2. The last time I used the Android version of Neat app, it would only bring up the first page of a stored image. It most of the time refused to show pages after the first one. I haven't had a chance to spend time with the web version so I'm hoping it is more responsive.

I did not have to wait long for an agent. The agent, May Ann G., was professional and courteous. She did not show irritation at my lack of technical expertise, and did what she could to solve my problem. The problem remains, but she gave me clear instructions and a demonstration of how to "get around" it.

Mixed feelings but Neat is working again.
It wasn’t always clear what the tech was asking me to do but she was able to take control of my machine and fix the issue. I was confused and a bit annoyed that she then tried to get me to upgrade to a more expensive subscription that didn’t appear to offer anything different than I had and couldn’t give me a good reason why. As an Apple user I have always felt that Neat gives my platform second priority status and there have been many glitches and bugs in the program. If I hadn’t had my data already in Neat I would have abandoned it many times in the past. It does appear better than it was, though, and the quick access to support was refreshing and new in my experience.

Problem with latest app update
Had problems accessing the app only to discover it has changed to full web base application. Could not get my Neat scanner to work and called support. Was difficult at first understanding the total change in the application. The support technician was very helpful and worked with me for a couple of hours. Ended up having to install the scanner app on my laptop instead of my desktop PC. Finally got the scanner working but then discovered all of my previous scanned documents from previous years were missing. The technician informed me I now need to schedule an online tutorial on the new application. This part is very frustrating over the past few years with switching to full web based and all documents in the cloud.
