Lots of fine print!!!!
Lots of fine print!!!!! Locked in a contract for 3 years, the phone system is old and out dated can't even receive text messages. They add insurance without ever asking or discussing if the office was insured with General Liability (so we were paying double insurance for the out dated phone) and I had to go through 3 customer services people to figure out why we had extra charges, they did not know why and everyone had a different answer. They had and still have the wrong information on the contract including our EIN Number. We were forced into contract because the previous owners had a contract with them and they would not release the telephone numbers that the business has used for the last 15 years. We were also told even if we buy out our contract the may or may not release the telephone numbers, even had COX call and try for a while and we all gave up, completely feel defeated. At this point I'm not even sure if they will release our numbers to us after our contract is up, they will probably make us buy them back. Been a horrible experience from the start and certainly cheaper to buy your phones out right from Office Max. Not to mention they are so over priced!!

Customer is always WRONG
Went to make my first deposit and screen froze. CIT showed no balance, no recent transaction, NOTHING. Next day made accepted transfer with acknowledgement on the screen. No confirmation of transfer emailed. Four days later, two deposits shown, second transfer bounced at my bank. $35 fee. CIT says I should have gone to another screen and known better. Save yourself the frustration and expense of dealing with companies like this. They told me I'm at fault and now have to wait 9 days after first transfer to access my money. Day 10 will transfer all of my cash out of this poorly designed, online bank.

I wouldn't trust these guys with five bucks.
I opened a new account with them and they forced me to use my old address, even though I updated it with my new one. I've tried to fix it online or through the app but you can't. They told me that I had to call customer service but everything you call, there is at least a 30 minute wait. I have a decent amount of money I was putting in with them too, so I'm not sure what the problem is but I'd rather get a lower interest rate and have a reliable bank. You'll never go anywhere with this kind of customer service. In fact, it seems suspicious just how bad it is. I submitted a complaint with my uncle at the SEC to have this place looked into.

What customer service?
I have tried unsuccessfully to speak with a customer service representative for days now. The computer places me on hold, music plays, after 45+minutes waiting I hang up. I have emailed our account representative, she has not returned my emails. My HOA has entrusted a group of people like this to manage our HOA's $250k?!? Next board meeting we will be discussing alternatives. Update. I have messaged my phone number through Facebook. No response.

mid experience
when i created an account and tried to login the phone numbers available for a one-time code weren't mine. i called the support and after waiting around 15 minutes I finally talked to a real person who explained I had to enroll and set a USERID and password (even though I did that in the application step). once I did that everything else worked but overall the instructions weren't as clear as they could have been. i don't understand whose numbers were the ones that first showed up since I'm assuming the USERID I picked was not taken. not sure if I will keep the account. my advice if you're having trouble: DO NOT GET OFF THE PHONE CALL. they offer to call you back but I've seen in other reviews that they never do. may or may not keep the account, the APY is pretty nice

CIT Office Phone Lease
CIT handles our phone lease for our psychiatric practice office. CIT has been easy to work with, especially in setting up automatic ACH payments. We had a few minor problems when we started the lease and CIT customer service was easy to work with and very professional. I highly recommend them.

Discrimination. Don’t trust CiT with your personal information applying for credit. I think there fraud
The worst company to apply with for an Apple Business Account. We feel discriminated after we provided our ID cards via upload to there website our approval that we had for two days already was changed to declined all if a sudden… We applied for a Apple business leasing account , got approve for $20,000 after providing my business EIN number and my social, they had me choose my equipment my plan , agree to terms , to then send me a request for picture ID of myself and business partner why I don’t know , we’ve been approved 2days ago… now we receive a email saying our approval is now declined . Something seem fishy with this company after they receive all your personal information they decline your approval . Don’t trust them. So now we have to keep an eye on our credit reports for fraud .

Clunky, outdated website-interface
The website CIT uses for the leases handling is clunky, outdated, and not easy to navigate. 1. Layout. You need to guess how to navigate the website (not intuitive) 2. Try/Error. While navigating the system and finding the information, there is a few try and error to do before you get what you need. 3. Outdated. This is not just the website/layout, but the content itself. For example, invoices cannot be sorted by date. They are displayed by old to newest. The same with payments. 4. Lack of reporting building, or reports at all. To match the invoice vs the payment, both records need to be downloaded. Then, you match them manually. For all the money they make, this seems like a negligent section CIT doesn't want to put emphasis into.

CIT Bank LOCKS UP your money
CIT Bank was essentially a vault for my money. I had a debit card; couldn't use or connect to any online platform. I managed to somehow link one credit card account and send a few Zelle payments. I literally had to call customer support to send me a check of my balance and close out my account because no micro-deposits were sent after a month to an external account and it would cost me $10 to wire the money.... Overall, the high interest is only worth it if you're saving money in their saving's account.

Previously I had a basically OK…
Previously I had a basically OK relationship with the bank, re: CD's. However, I cannot say the same for a no-penalty CD first taken out last December, 2022. The now ongoing problems began when the login system was changed, whereby aside from providing both the user ID and the PW, next I was required to receive either text or had to call to advance further in the login process. My obstacle was that I don't have text on my mobile phone plan, nor do I have home internet (for many years I've used the computer at my local library). The end result is that after I'd opened the CD account by having mailed in the requisite document as well as a check, no longer have I been able to login. Next, I wrote to the attention of the office of the president and in part asked why the bank did not amend its system, e.g., at Marcus Bank after providing the user ID and PW, as part of the additional security sign in, the customer has the option of receiving an email with a on-time 6 # security code. Easy Peasy. But nary any form of written reply. Subsequently I emailed the banks; 'contact center." No help. Finally, TWO weeks ago I sent another letter again to the attention of the office of the president. In it, I categorically stated I wanted the original CD contribution as well as all accrued interest sent to me. First, after having enclosed a voided check from my bank, I said that the easiest for me outcome would be for C I T Bank to wire/electronically send the funds in question to my checking account, though in light of the ongoing inconveniences I'd already endured, I was not willing to pay any wire fee. The second option was to post a requisite check to me. Yet as of today's date, February 18, 2023, no such check has been seen!

Nothing but headaches
The customer service & experience with CIT is pathetic. Below outlines what I've gone through: 1) I ordered the new mac book pro and ipad 2) Shortly after receiving the new iPad, I realized I didn’t need it and requested to return it 3) After not hearing from CIT, it turns out their response email went to spam. Due to this, they said I was past the exchange date and their's nothing they can do. So much for sympathy. 4) After clearing up the email issue, it took close to a month for them to provide any details to return my old equipment. I sent multiple emails trying to resolve the issue. This is when I realized that didn't care. 5) The protocols for returning the devices is pathetic. Basically, they put all the responsibility on the customer. 6) A few back and forth emails with Funding Managers / Operations (because they don't return calls), they provided a customer service number. They'll do anything to kick the can down the road. 7) The woman at CIT was great and understanding (as customer service should be) and said I could return the new ipad due to the frustration I had experienced. 8) Logistics company sends an email outlining a return process that's disjointed and confusing. 9) I sent the products via Fedex within the week. 10) After a week, I emailed asking if they received the product, (since I know they wouldn't update me) they claimed the products arrived in empty boxes. Now I fear my credit is going to be impacted due to their careless and reckless regarded to my financial well being. I'm hopeful that a more sensible, and responsible group, will reach out to help me.

Before you lease, say no to CIT.
They are quick to send invoices, slow to process changes and poor communicators. The associates seem nice, but I would never voluntarily work with the organization. I made a payment and then sent in all documents required to have automatic drafts on 2-1-2023. Their set up time for auto draft is 30 days. They are a bank, and they can't get it set up for 30 days. Decided to make 5 payments over the phone, so I didn't have to deal with them again. They charged me $10, they couldn't (wouldn't) use a credit or debit card. Every interaction disgust me.

Incorrect tax rates
CIT seems unable to enter the correct tax rate when the rate varies at different locations. 6 months into our lease, and we still can't get a correct invoice.
