I have had 2 loans with you one paid in full in 6 months the other on track to be paid in 2 years. I had a total of 5750.00 between the 2 loans I currently owe you 1200.00 I attempted to buy some parts I need for my truck and Bread would only finance 800.00 of the 3000.00 I needed. I am getting a personal loan to take care of my truck and pay off Bread. I will not use Bread in the future

I actually like like the company I just don't like their automated system it needs a lot of work i like to pay off my loans as fast as possible by paying more or even paying off my loans early but when I can't even make a simple payment over and over again as much as 8 times my payments have been rejected their whole premis is a on line lending company and when you can't even accomplish a simple payment 8 times!!! I hope they listen to their customers and fix these issues...

Helped me through to get what I wanted but...
Helped me through to get what I wanted and pay later. However, the item I received was defective. When I sent back the item I was already bring charged for the first month on something I didn't have while the refund and exchanged was being processed by the company. Regardless I had to pay for interest charge for a return which seemed very unfair. I believe when something is being return I shouldn't have to pay for interest when I'm getting refunded and exchanged as a new purchase.

Did not like receiving several advanced…
Did not like receiving several advanced notices of my payments coming due. It made me feel as though I wasn’t trusted to make the payments on time. Then I began to wonder why Bread even extended me credit in the first place. I sent a check for the first payment and got a late payment notice. Called customer service and was told that the checks were sent to a different box and it probably hadn’t been picked up in time to be posted before the due date. Made the second payment by phone using a debit card before the due date and it too was posted late. Made my third and final payment again using the debit card and it posted immediately as it should have. The account is paid in full. I will never use Bread again. I’ve worked very hard for a very long time to build a good credit history and do not intend to have it downgraded or ruined by a company that conducts business in such a sloppy manner. On the other side of the coin their customer service agents are top notch. They are very friendly and very professional in the manner that they conduct themselves. And, no I did not get nasty with them. They aren’t the problem. It’s their employers fault.

Too high of interest rate.
Thought the interest rate was a tad too high but spread over 12 months was okay. Services like affirm charge no fees or interest rate.

Poor customer service
Bread never gives you a statement. We paid our final payment, it went through our bank, was credited to our account, and the next day we received an email from Bread stating the payment didn’t go through and to contact our bank. We did, and our Bank verified that the payment was made. We’ve sent THREE emails to Bread asking them what the error is on their end and to contact us. We have not received any replies.

it started out OK
it started out OK. I got my first account with Washington Music Center. Then I went to make a purchase at another vendor and they also suggested Bread. So then I was informed that I already had another account at another store ? Anyway, I would put info in in order to see what the payments would be and so forth. Then I get a notice that I made too many inquiries and will be locked out for 90 days? I had paid most of my balance off in order to make another purchase at Washington Music. Now I can't use it ? i called support to find out what I did and was told there was nothing to be done? Please advise

Nice turned into Not Nice
They were easy to work with in the beginning. I made my payments on time for a 20'x12'temporary shelter with a round metal pole frame and a large tarp. The quality of the product that I purchased was half and half. The framework was outstanding the tarp was nowhere near what they claim to be but that's not breads fault. I was satisfied enough to make the payments on time and things were going well. I went to the hospital emergency room and tried to explain that I had a 104 temperature and I believe it was caused by aseptic meningitis because I've had it twice before. A woman came in with a child that was crying and she bumped me to admit the child first. I ended up passing out on the floor of the hospital emergency room. Someone was kind enough to let her know at the desk that I had passed out. They immediately got me into the emergency room and checked my temperature. Their knee jerk reaction was to treat me for covid-19 where I had an extreme reaction to the drugs and it caused me do you have a heart attack. I was unconscious for 67 days in a coma were they instituted life support. When I woke up I was in a tent. A man was standing over the tent and I was able to grab his smock he looked at me and I mumbled aseptic meningitis. Then I passed out again I woke up a few days later and they were treating me for extreme dehydration and trying to get my body not to react to the drugs they had given me before. I had an extended stay in the hospital and I don't even remember signing any paperwork but they drained my bank account at the hospital. I had $49 to my name. Needless to say I lost my job because I didn't show up for over 60 days. I'm 65 I live alone thank goodness a friend of mine had not seen me and knocked on the door. I left it unlocked and she took care of my dogs during the interim. She had no idea where I was. I explained all this to bread when I got out of the hospital. They sent hospice home with me for the first 14 days. Bread was polite they were understanding and the first thing they asked was when can I pay the $615 in arrears. I explained I had $49 to my name because the hospital had drain my account I could not go back to work until XYZ. This conversation happened several times and they called me a few days later as I explain my circumstances again. I told them I have insurance if I die you'll get paid 100%. I also explained I had spoken to my boss and he said I could come back but only take a half shift until I got better. I explained that to bread. I could start a coue weeks from the day we talked. 3 days later I started receiving collection calls every single day. 1 in the morning 1 in the afternoon. Then we had the power outage in Texas. The pipes froze in my house I had no heat I had no electricity and I just wrapped up in blankets I had no way to charge my cell phone. I spoke to bread multiple times they were very polite and I agreed to make a payment if they give me till a specific date because that would be my first check, they hold back a week. They agreed I tape-recorded all of our conversations because they tape record the conversations. I also stated I might be able to pay a little bit more give me until Saturday at 2 p.m. and I will call you and tell you exactly what I can pay, I promise. I received a text the next morning that they were going to take out $205 out of my account the very next day. I only had about $49 in the account. So I walked a mile and a half and closed the account rather than have my bank charge me a substantial fee and go ahead and push it through and being in arrears with the bank also. I was mad and frustrated I have all the texts and all the agreements. When I called them that day all they could talk about was when I can make up my arrears. I only worked a few days it was the same thing that I just went through with them. She said just make a partial payment then through your bank checking account or debit account. I got really frustrated and angry and I said did you not listen to anything we talked about? You need to go back and listen to your tape. I no longer have a bank account. I no longer have a debit card. Because you broke our payment agreement. I can mail you a payment give me a physical address. I was told she wasn't sure they could do that. I said well I'll make a payment that way. I have no other way to make it. She said she would check into it. Everyday I've received 2 to 3 calls from then by an automated stating it was a very important message in reference to my account please call. I finally called back and said I have four other creditors all four of the other creditors understand my situation and I've worked out a payment plan with them instead of you because you did not keep your word. I have paid off two of them since. Once I get the other two paid I will pay bread. They'll be the last not the first to get paid this time. I told them I will attach a statement to my credit report.Sent pmt via Mail MO has not been cashed as of 4/8

25% interest rate is waaaay too high.
25% interest rate is waaaay too high. I finally payed off my lone with my tax returns/stimulus, paying over $600 to finish the loan. I had been paying on this laptop for almost 2 years. The loan was for just under $2000 at around $1950 ish range or so. Once i payed it off, I had already payed $2600+ and would have been even more had I kept going with monthly payments and not finished off the loan. I pretty much just spent all my tax refund on interest.

Unhappy with payment n recieving.. we should be able to access our accounts??
, bread is not the easiest to get ahold of. Trying to contact someone is near to impossible. I would like to know , what my balance is every once in a while. My bank gave me a number that, supposedly, was for me to contact. Uour company no luck! Really very frustrating!

Interest too high..
I mean I'm grateful that it's available but I was double-tripling up my payments and they were adding interest. And my credit wasn't applied to it so I think they owe me money but I had to initiate the call to have them fix everything otherwise they would have kept charging me. Not a good system, you need to really follow what they do otherwise you'll be overpaying. I need to take a look at it again to see if they've reconciled my account. Would not recommend.

The service was great but every single one I received numerous messages from you that my BRead payment was overdue/late. However, at NO time was my payment late. In fact, I usually paid it early. I got tired of your fraudulent delinquency notes and just paid the darn thing off in full.
