Did not like receiving several advanced…
Did not like receiving several advanced notices of my payments coming due. It made me feel as though I wasn’t trusted to make the payments on time. Then I began to wonder why Bread even extended me credit in the first place. I sent a check for the first payment and got a late payment notice. Called customer service and was told that the checks were sent to a different box and it probably hadn’t been picked up in time to be posted before the due date. Made the second payment by phone using a debit card before the due date and it too was posted late. Made my third and final payment again using the debit card and it posted immediately as it should have. The account is paid in full. I will never use Bread again. I’ve worked very hard for a very long time to build a good credit history and do not intend to have it downgraded or ruined by a company that conducts business in such a sloppy manner.
On the other side of the coin their customer service agents are top notch. They are very friendly and very professional in the manner that they conduct themselves.
And, no I did not get nasty with them. They aren’t the problem. It’s their employers fault.
