Excellent quality
Great selection of beds, very pleased they had a headboard which could fit under a windowsill as many places don't. Bed frame is very sturdy but really simple to put together. The wood has a lovely smell to it as well! Customer services were very helpful and quick to respond when I had a few questions prior to ordering.

A mixed bag
First the positives, all of the customer service agents I’ve spoken to have been extraordinarily nice. They were accommodating when I had to delay delivery, when I wanted to change my order and were helpful when problems arose post-delivery. Sadly, the delivery of my bed went from bad to worse. First, the bed didn’t arrive on the scheduled delivery day. Second, the shipping company provide an ‘all day’ service which evidently means there are no tracking facilities, which is frankly unacceptably archaic in 2023. Thirdly, the bed arrived without both instructions and hardware so couldn’t be constructed. Finally, when the instructions were sent via email it wasn’t at all clear that holes needed to be drilled in order to mount the headboard. Bizarre that such a vital step is ambiguous in the infographics. The quality of the wood is excellent and the attitude of the customer service agents can’t be faulted. However, after sleeping on the floor for yet another night, I wouldn’t order from this company again.

After moving into my new house
After moving into my new house, I was looking for anew bed and found GetLaid Beds online. They are offering European sizes which is what I was looking for. I am really pleased with my new Oxford bed, it really looks great in my bedroom and is extremely comfy. Thank you Get Laid beds !

US BUYER BEWARE
US BUYER BEWARE. I am now over a full month past my expected delivery and have had nothing but trouble getting my shipment. I’m not sure if this company does not have a great system of sending items to the US but some of my packages have been stuck in customs and eventually sent back. Support had resent packages but still messes it up as they have failed to send all the items and I am out another 2 weeks until I can build my bed. Worst of all, the bed color is completely different from the images on the website and the instructions are unclear and the pre drilled holes on the pieces are not positioned well. Will definitely avoid this company and cannot believe the experience I’ve had with them after spending 2k on a bed frame.

Good Afternoon, We are very sorry our chosen courier had kept items in customs. We use both FedEx and DHL to deliver in the US. Customs delays are something that is outside Get Laid Beds control which is the reason we only offer estimated delivery dates to the US. As an apology for the delay we refunded your full delivery fee that you paid for your estimated delivery date. Despite the couriers ensuring us that the package would be released and delivered to you, unfortunately the time frame they gave for this came and went so we arranged for replacement parts to be sent out to you. Along with the missed brackets from the misunderstanding of what you had received. I can see that you ordered and received a coffee bean finished bed frame. The images you have provided confirm that you have received a coffee Bean bed frame. Due to the nature of the natural wood that is used with the water based stain to outcome can vary from frame to frame. We do not use MDF or veneer so there can be variations in the finish. Although very similar, no two beds will be exactly the same. This gives your bed its unique bespoke look. We are very sorry you have not had the experience we expect for our customers. Loving our Low Platform Bed
We ordered the Low Platform Bed and couldn't be happier with it. It arrived on time, well packaged and was so easy to assemble. We love the lower look of the bed, and the oak wood is beautiful. For the quailty and workmanship, these beds are worth every penny!

Perfect Queen Bed
Not only did the bed get here a week early, we put it together with no trouble whatsoever! Instructions were clear for the bed and the drawers. We love it! It is the Oxford bed in natural with 4 1/2 drawers. We are in North Carolina USA. We are 71 and 80 years old and put it together ourselves without any help!

My problems with this company continue
My problems with this company continue. Last year I purchased a king size frame, the issues began with warped wood. I should have taken more pictures and returned it right then and there. Upon building it, screws were missing. As a US customer, the screws they have are not made here, so I had to find something as close as possible to that. They ended up refunding me a small portion of what I paid, about 33%, to keep the warped pieces since the bed was wobbling and creaking. Well it never got any better after a year. So I took it apart to send them more photos since I believed I was under warranty, well because they refunded me a portion to keep the bed as it is, I am not under warranty! So be careful if you accept anything from them. It won’t get better, so just return it.

You stated that you had fixed the warped slat yourself and did not want replacements, you also expressed deep frustrations in having to assist us with our investigation into the creaking. You wished to be compensated for the bed frame instead and we agreed to refund you. This did mean that replacements were not able to be sent 1 year later for the same affected areas having the same issue. The rest of your frame is still covered by your workmanship warranty. Honoured its Guarantee with zero fuss
I bought a bed 3 years ago, solid, high quality, looked great. Unfortunately after 3 years one piece of wood snapped. I sent a photo to them on email and they immediately arranged for a delivery and installation of a replacement part with zero effort and zero cost to me. Delighted that they genuinely honour their guarantees.

worst bed frame i’ve ever bought
worst bed frame i’ve ever bought. this review is a long time coming as i’ve now had the bedframe for about a year now. i sought to replace my old bed frame bc it wasn’t supportive and my back hurt every morning when i woke up— only to have the exact same issue with this one. it claimed that the solid wood slats were better for back support (there are not beams in the middle for extra support), but so far, my partner and i have experienced nothing BUT back pain every single morning. my remedies for this have been to simply just not use the bed frame and out the bed on the floor and it was honestly the best move bc i wake up with no back pain and know for a fact it is the bedframe causing it. i’ve also had to put books, suitcases, and other things under the bed to help support it and my back STILL hurts. i do NOT recommend these bed frames unless you like having crappy sleep and love having back pain every morning.

My bed did not even last 1 year
My bed did not even last 1 year. The headboard slats will not stay together and the headboard often comes detached from the base of the bed. I believe this is a design flaw because the connection to the headboard and base is not sturdy, very easy to knock things out of place if you move the bed around. And the screws strip easily from the wood. Would not recommend buying.

An absolute nightmare to assemble (4…
Order no. 192402. An absolute nightmare to assemble (4 hours at present and still not finished! The instructions are not great, diagrams not clear, not drawn properly (perhaps they should not have gone to the local primary school!). And, you have to guess which parts are which (nothing is labelled). As well as a Japanese style box bed, we also got two under bed storage units, which to be honest could have been much easier rather than 8 pieces of wood for the sides and ends, why not simply 4? I somehow doubt this will be posted but, if they want some constructive feedback please pay attention. I don’t think so much “Get Laid” as “Screwed Over”.

Dreadful and disappointing
Ordered the Maple Floating Bed with a two-week manufacture period and the bed arrived promptly two weeks later in five boxes. The maple was beautiful, however, one of the headboard pieces was damaged in transit, the box was dropped from height and the other boxes had banding damage, causing some minor damage to slats (no impact to appearance). The boxes had minimal packing material and low-quality outer cardboard boxes (eco-friendly, but killed a whole tree to replace the hardwood). Difficult to blame the carrier considering the quality of the packaging. On closer inspection, one of the other three headboard pieces was badly warped and needed considerable force to straighten. Jointing biscuits were supplied; however, these would have been inadequate over time to maintain a uniform headboard appearance. I didn’t consider the pine slats as high quality (as supplied by other companies) and had holes drilled everywhere but where they were needed for the bed design, obviously from some other bed. There were no holes drilled in the maple bedside for the location of the slats or markings/holes in the slats for assembly. When I enquired, I was informed it should be okay to screw through the pine slat into the maple bedside, and if anything split new items would be supplied, and in fact not to drill as this would weaken the wood and could invalidate the warranty? When I enquired about slat spacing, they informed me to start in the middle and work outward with spacing as required, unfortunately, most modern mattresses have a max/min spacing of slats, so you need to verify before purchase. If conducting self-assembly, you need some experience; a tape measure and I would use a drill for pilot holes, but you would need to carefully maintain a ninety-degree angle into the hardwood bedside or you could cause a lot of damage. I was informed all the headboard pieces would be replaced on the same day so I thought I would give it another chance. The carrier arrived with no replacements and took away the defective items. When I telephoned, I was informed the replacements could not be located, maybe lost in transit, if they ever left the manufacturer?

I ordered a King Sized oak bed frame from Get Laid Beds after looking for a company that would provide bed frames made from a solid hardwood with proper joints as I was sick of the usual frames from bed companies that rattled and made noise every time you turned over in the bed. Bed frame arrived and there was some small (less than 1-inch chip) damage to one of the side rails. When I contacted the company they apologised profusely and were sending out a replacement rail. I realised then that our new mattress was slightly too big for the frame so they have amended the replacement to include two newly sized side rails and central support. Thanks to Shante and Beth on their support team. I will be ordering all of my beds from them in future and recommending them to my friends and family. My wife and I are big on customer service and it's rare nowadays for a company to provide it well. Credit where credit is due and this is why I am providing this review so other customers can feel safe ordering knowing that there is actual support behind their purchases and not excuses. Yes, they are more expensive than your standard furniture store but what you are buying will last far longer and cost you less in the long run.

Hugely frustrating and difficult to assemble
More pre-drilling needed. Three hours later and the first of two ash single beds is still not built. We are having to drill into every hole to enable the screws to gain purchase into the inserts. Even power screwdrivers cannot force the screws into the inserted solid wood. Perhaps ash is harder than other woods? You don't realize this is a serious assembly problem until you've battled away trying to get the screws in. Then, because they won't go all the way in, you have to take it all apart to pre-drill the holes. I expect the beds will look great once they are assembled but just now I am seriously fed up with them and guests are arriving tomorrow.
