Worth it
I love my new bed frame, the instructions were simple and it was very easy to assemble. The quality is amazing, and I’m extremely pleased with my purchase.

Nothing but regrets
In the end the hyperbolic language of the website only delivered regrets. The first shipment arrived late and was for the wrong size bed. This is after five packages were delivered over a span of two weekends and a third mid-week delivery. Not on the date selected when completing the order. So don't make plans, like getting rid of the bed you're replacing, until everything is delivered. Sure, the experience with the delivery courier is not in Get Laid Beds' hands (directly). It is still part of the customer's journey and they pick the courier. Some of the boxes were oversized for their parts causing avoidable handling delays. It wasn't until the second delivery that I was able to see what I was so excitedly anticipating. The lovely coffee stained bed parts were for the wrong size bed. Not the "made to measure" bed I was expecting. System error I'm told. Their customer service is courteous and professional. Personally, when the bed is 6 inches too narrow, I'd offer to correct the issue before offering a refund for the alteration fee and calling it good. I felt like I had to advocate to get what I ordered stronger than I should have given the delivered product clearly wouldn't work. Arrangements were made for new parts to be made and shipped. The second shipment included just the parts to make the bed frame wider. No resized slats, no joke. Until this point I had unpacked as little as possible while things got sorted out. I began to separate parts to keep and parts to package for return. That's when I saw that the wood for both parts of the center support were cracked in several places. Including one on the cut edge. So, more emails. New parts were put into the queue. Third shipment. So close but no replacement center support. At this point my trust in the product is as fractured as the parts it was delivered with. I'd like to believe the bed is of the quality touted on the website. Instead I choose to step away and avoid another surprise. Sigh... It seems a "system error" was just the beginning to a full system failure. Most of this bed is made of finger joined (glued) scraps. The photos on the site show solid boards. I feel deceived by the lack of transparency on the site by not featuring what you get if you select the basic option. The structural integrity is based on running screws into the ends of a 2x6. No true bracing to last more than the day it was built. I refuse to assemble this pile of scrap wood. It feels unsafe. My dog likes to sleep under the bed so I will not risk crushing her with this bed. I feel misled and have never regretted a purchase as much as this one.

Missing Hardware
The bed is OK, but for the price I expected better. However, only 18 of 90 (20%) of the screws and screw cups were delivered. I was offered next day delivery for the missing hardware, which meant completion of my son's bedroom would be delayed (bearing in mind everything was timed for during school half term), or I could purchase the hardware myself up to the value of £10. Because there was so many missing, the hardware cost ~£15 and additional compensation has been declined. So, I recommend you don't plan to build any Get Laid Beds product on the day of delivery, or, be prepared for a trip to screwfix and some unexpected costs, frustration and admin.

Love this frame!
We just purchased a frame after a friend's recommendation. It was easy to assemble solo, and the instructions were pretty good. Our packages arrived two days earlier than expected. The black stain is gorgeous and matches with our wall mounted headboard and bedroom design. I wish they would have been a little more detailed, since I put two of the pieces together but couldn't get one of the screws in because of the rail along the long side. The instructions didn't mention you had to assemble them in any particular order. Most of the pieces had pre-drilled holes, but the tabs on the side pieces and the rail that the cross pieces sat on did not. Assembly would have been impossible without a power drill, and each one that went in made cracking sounds as it was drilled in, which obviously makes me very nervous for the durability of the frame. Some of them were really hard to get all the way in. As we continue to use our bed, the frame keeps making cracking sounds and I'm nervous about the cross pieces breaking, but we haven't had problems so far.

Never go near them
Shady company with questionable practices and lack of communication. I placed an order in March, they sent me a delivery date, then later a comfirmation of the same date. They didn't give a timeslot, so I ended up waiting the whole day for a delivery that didn't show up. Their customer service says the delivery date was meant to be an estimate which was never communicated in any of their emails. All I have is regrets as I waited for weeks for nothing. Now I'm waiting for a refund, which they say would also take 2 weeks to receive! There was no confirmation that they are processing a refund either. I feel scammed and willing to let trading standards know about how these people operate. Edit: As I said I did talk to customer service and checked all comms, estimated date was NEVER mentioned. I got a selected date on checkout and it was later confirmed in a follow up email. I've got proof of all messaging. You need to improve your service instead of trying to gaslight people. Just send that refund already.

I purchased an ottoman bed that was not suitable for me, however, the customer care provided by Beth has been excellent. She supported with pre-sales questions, sorted out an issue with my faulty product and then helped to manage the return process very promptly and without extra costs. I had questions before ordering so I contacted customer service by email and the information was sent to me within 12 hrs, bearing in mind that I sent the email quite late this is an amazing turnaround. Awesome customer service

The bed itself was very poor
The bed itself was very poor, unfortunately! Looked beautiful but the wrong size slats were sent and a couple of pieces of wood were warped so we returned it! Customer service team, especially Ellie, were excellent. We sent photos and they immediately agreed to a refund. We would have been very happy to keep this bed and recommend it if only it had been properly inspected before shipping to the USA.

Bed collapsed underneath me when sleeping
We received our bed 3 years ago. Until now, it’s been lovely. Looks nice, appears to be a solid wood. It was a bit squeaky but other than that, seemed fine. The other night, I laid down to bed and the bed literally collapsed underneath me. The side rail broke, and when that happened, the headboard also broke and the middle support underneath broke as well. Husband took apart the bed to find that the joinery that failed was never glued, which is a total rookie mistake. Someone put it together with no glue, painted over it and bam! A failed bed. Emailed customer service with photos and their only solution is to send a few replacement parts. Their 11-year guarantee is trash. Website says “transparent terms and conditions” however I am unable to find the T’s and C’s anywhere on the website. Not very transparent, in my opinion. I am not satisfied with their product, their customer service, or their warranty. I would not recommend this company under any circumstances. I spent over 1,000 on a bed that is total garbage. I have cats that like to hang out under my bed and I’m glad they didn’t get crushed as a result of this.

Excellent after sales service
I contacted Get Laid Beds after a slat had broken on my new bed. Elisa Shelley contacted me the same day requesting additional information. I supplied this information and Elisa was back in touch promptly. Not only is the company replacing the broken slat but because my slats used finger joints, Get Laid Beds are replacing all of the slats with an alternative product.

It's all about the Customer Service (well, and the bed of course), but wow on the former! Erin-Rose has truly gone the extra mile, staying in touch with me to help Fed-Ex deliver without a signature when an awful family health crisis scuppered my arrangements. She's also offered to help walk me through the instructions if needed when we do open the boxes and get assembling. The Perfect Bed
After searching online for the perfect bed, I found your company. It was difficult to determine a wood color as I am matching the bed to other furniture. I called and spoke to Ellie who patiently helped me. She offered to send samples. I got 3 but none that matched. Speaking to Ellie again she offered to send 3 more. She was patient and kind. I received 3 more samples, which one was a very close match. I contacted Ellie again and placed my order. I must say that working with your service person was greatly appreciated.
