Great Online Shopping Experience
I have always been a fan of shopping online, and when it came to buying a new bed I didn't want to spend my time going around the Mall looking for a standard bed. I stumbled across Get Laid Beds when I was looking at custom beds on Google, and their Low Four Poster really took my eye. I found their website user friendly, and the amount of options and colors they had available was tremendous. I sat home last Thursday and waited for the bed to come. It was dropped off by courier in the early morning and I then had my hubby assemble it when he came home from work. The bed looks stunning in my new bedroom and is everything I had expected it to be and more. Thank you Get Laid Beds for giving me such a wonderful new bed.

Just what I was looking for
I found the exact bed i was looking for when i did a image search on google for a "canopy bed". I was bummed when i discovered it was a bed company in England, but elated when i learned they would ship the bed all the way to me in Oklahoma for only $39!! I searched everywhere for what i wanted at a good price, so when the bed i wanted went on sale for half the price, my decision was made. I was unsure which stain i wanted so when i contacted them, they said they could send me up to 2 samples to aid in my decision. When i got the bed, it was actually slightly lighter than the sample they sent me, but i liked it better anyway. Putting the bed together wasn't too difficult, but it wont be a very easy bed to move if it ever comes to that. All in all, i love my solid wood bed, and the way my bedroom smells like a wood shop (its been a week. I'm sure it wont last forever). When my boys are out of there crib and toddler bed, i know where i want to get their twin size beds. Great bed, great customer service. I look forward to getting more beds from them in the future.

Great bed and reasonably priced
Great bed and reasonably priced. Aesthically this bed excels in its beauty. I incorporated Restoration Hardware linens into a quasi loft/industrial look that blended perfectly with my Sherman Williams Gauntlet Gray walls and the weathered gray bed frame. Shipping was amazingly quick considering the size of the item and the overseas location. All pieces were included although I could have used another person's assistance at a few junctures in the process. Otherwise, totally satisfied.

Terrible Experience
Terrible experience, ordered bed for my daughter's bedroom. Took a holiday off work to take the delivery, fine. I emailed deliberately the day before to confirm my Saturday delivery which i paid extra for, "yes your bed will be delivered" was the response. Saturday arrives and i get an email to say my bed will not be delivered due to an issue with their courier. I complain and am told they have spoken to the courier and my bed will Definitely delivered on Monday now, not their fault as the courier let them down. I have to take unpaid leave to get time off work to take the delivery on Monday. I make them aware of this and re confirm Monday delivery. "Yes your bed will be delivered on Monday". Monday comes and i get a text from the courier to confirm the bed will be delivered on Tuesday, aaarrggggh! I complain again. "Not our fault, the courier is to blame and we will not compensate you because it's not our fault". This is a long story short but they would simply not accept any of the blame for this complete mess. I am forced to take a day off work 'sick' to take delivery on Tuesday. Bed arrives finally on Tuesday. I open one of the six boxes to inspect some of the wood, one of the three pieces i looked at has a chunk out of it, at a loss completely and can't wait to hear the excuses and shirking of blame when i complain again. I haven't even opened the other boxes yet and i feel compelled to review here already. I have been made to feel at fault for their failures (yes their courier is their issue, it's basic customer service) and left to take the brunt. Not looking forward to seeing the rest of the bed based on my rubbish experience so far. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST

Our bed is still in the depot.....
I'm told by a representative of Get Laid Beds that people leave reviews only when they are ecstatic or very cross indeed. I am neither - sorry to buck the trend - but I am disappointed that the bed I ordered on 22 Feb is still not with me. It should have turned up between 5pm and 8pm last night. It didn't. I didn't receive a phone call to say the driver was 30 mins away (as stipulated). I didn't receive a call at all. So we just sat, waiting. It turns out the driver ran out of time and the bed was returned to the depot, removed from the van and is now scheduled to come to me on Monday. There was no attempt to try and deliver today because the vans are fully booked... The company said it would express its concerns to the logistics company and refund me the £19 delivery charge which is definitely better than nothing. And the representative I spoke to was very polite. prompt and keen to try and put things right. Thank you for that. The issue is this - when things go wrong, as sometimes they do, please make contact with the customer. Update them. In real time. It is such a basic thing to do and it saves so much frustration and ongoing problems when customers know what is going on.This is a job for the logistics people but our contract isn't with them, it's with Get Laid Beds so they need to bang the drum and ensure that this happens as a matter of course. I don't know if our experience is unusual or not. The company is small - it doesn't publish KPIs on customer satisfaction/experience as far as I can see. But either way, I do hope that it reinforces its process as a result because experiences like this really does make the difference between customers recommending them (and/or reordering) or thinking twice.

Great customer service to match the product
I ordered my bed over the phone. It was very easy and reassuring to speak to someone who could confirm all the details I had picked out from the website. The bed was easy to slot together by myself and I got a really good night's sleep.

Get Laid Spacesaver Platform Bed…
I received my Spacesaver Platform Bed Frame from Get Laid Beds a month ago and I am very satisfied with the bed. Although, the delivery had to be delayed one week, the company kept me informed. My phone calls with the Sales and Customer Services department were dealt with very satisfactorily and they followed up with confirmation emails. The frame is made of solid walnut and the quality is excellent. The slats are solid, wide and close together, perfect for my Harrison Spinks mattress. The delivery guys, Adam and Tod were very polite and quickly got on with assembling the bed frame. I am more than happy with my bed frame. Thank you 'Get Laid Beds' and Adam and Todd.

Never expected getting a bed can be this simple
I heard many horror stories of friends who ordered beds from elsewhere. They never knew the day, had to stay home more days, etc. This is not the case with getlaidbeds. When checking out you book a day right before payment step. For a fee you could ever book a weekend day. Theoretically they have an urgency fee for next 1-2 days, but when I booked earliest appointment was 12 days away anyway. But at least that date works. UX wise this was a nice solution. I thought I ordered for an other earlier day. I called cust service. In a 40 sec call I knew the real day. Then I saw in my email it was really that day, I misread the week. It was my bad. The cust service also knew punctually that you get a dispatch email 1 day before at 5PM, and on the day early AM in text a tracking link. This would be the normal everywhere. They are actually prepared. But it was really unprecedented, my recent customer service experiences with other companies showed completely unprepared staff. Effective and prepared customer service is a huge plus for getlaidbeds and I'm only sad because it's so rare in 2020 at other companies. I ordered with assembly service. Mostly because I read earlier reviews here about hardness of assembly process, misplaced holes, etc. To my biggest surprise, the professional assembly was done in 10 minutes perfectly. Todd and Adam didn't spend here much and the bed frame is perfect.

I love love love my new bed and everything about it was so easy. Amazing customer service, exactly the customisation I asked for and Ryan & Adam were fabulous on delivery day and had it assembled in no time! Highly recommend.

Courier refused to remove the bed I had…
Courier refused to remove the bed I had paid them £25 for. When asked "why?" he was rude and mocked me. "Nothing to do with us" etc. Turns out Get Laid Beds had sent me 5 emails and NOT ONE of them stated that the company has suspended collection of items during Covid. They had kept my £25 and not told me the deal was off. A company rep eventually emailed AFTER the delivery men had gone saying "oh didn't you spot this link that was buried in one of our emails". This company is either highly negligent or deliberately deceptive. I suggest you tread very carefully before ordering.

Disorganised deliveries.
The bed frames are ok, if you can get your whole order delivered. ( I used the only Delivery option available on the website - I actually wanted the deliverers to make the beds, but this was not available for my postcode) I’ve ordered twice from this company now and both times delivery has been unreliable. The staff at getlaidbeds don’t actually appear to know what’s going on when something goes wrong and certainly aren’t capable of keeping the customer informed.

This is part of the reason we offer our own courier service directly from our workshop to of much of the UK as possible, I can see that this option wasn't selected at checkout but is available in your area. Looooove my ultra low platform bed
Looooove my ultra low platform bed. It arrived as planned..it was easy to assemble, and it looks incredible. It exactly as I imagined it. Could not recommend enough. Great company, great product. Love the 11 year guarantee. The workmanship is amazing. Also love the wood smell....divine.

Please send refund or new bed frame
First and foremost, we were not only upset about the bed frame but disappointed that it did not live up to the description and image on your website. Moreover, the dimensions were wrong. My full bed is only a fraction of the frame. This frame may fit a queen. The coffee bean stain is a washed up version of what was displayed. Very upsetting paying for a bed over $500

Just a little bit of quality control
The pegs were inconsistently cut, meaning that they pegs that slide into the slots in the wood would wiggle and slide out while assembling. Some of the planks had scratches in them which removed some of the paint, now I just turned those around and showed the better side, but even the better side had some scratches. Though overall I am happy with the results, it is a nice looking bedframe.
