Truly awful company to deal with
Awful company to deal with. I paid for delivery which was never attempted. The product was apparently shipped to a courier near to delivery address and for some reason I was supposed to collect from them, which is not how I understand the meaning of the term delivery. The shipment was then returned to Better Way who then unapologetically insisted I pay a further $65 to receive the $869 merchandise they failed to deliver, having been paid to do so. (All the while, the tracking system on the BW site said package was still scheduled for delivery, so I have no idea how I was to know it was my responsibility to collect it!). Blackmail comes to mind. Never again and I would warn prospective customers to beware. I am awaiting delivery now and will update if it arrives.

It is unfortunate that you did not notify us regarding your missing order until 8 weeks after it had shipped. It is possible we could have been able to help sooner. Just to confirm, we did ship your order promptly, and as discussed, it was held at your postal carrier for pickup after delivery was attempted, but never picked up and subsequently returned back to us. Obviously, with COVID-19, shipments are being delayed and although we have not received your order back yet, we did offer you a full refund once we receive it. The other option we offered, was to replace the entire 20-pack of Beta Glucan to you for free, just with the expedited shipping cost, to ensure it arrives in a more timely manner. We really worked hard to give you the best options to come to a resolution for you. Your replacement order is on its way at this time. Please check your email for updated tracking information. My package arrived late in the mail…due to ripped box and your disregard for me or my money or health
Below, now in brackets, was my angry letter and I thank you for responding. I spent a lot of money and your products are purchased because I believe them to be quality. I was relieved to know the package was not held up, this relieved my anxiety over heat - which is known to kill and compromise “health products” etc. I was also glad to know your products are not heat sensitive, although I’m not certain in my mind as to how that could be esp with the vitamin D bit also the circumnan - I just don’t know how that could be and especially with the Beta Glucan I want to know that it’s as life enhancing as it is supposed to be when it arrives to me as it was when it leaves your business. Although you are reassuring me, I’m not convinced but somewhat reassured regarding heat sensitivity. Although it has to be something I need to let go of especially because life can be stressful during this difficult time of Covid and politics don’t help...I do care that I did not feel you cared about your product enough to package it carefully so when I received it and opened it’s a quality class act from the beginning to the end. It was a flimsy box with one sheet of bubble wrap on the top. I can send you pictures of the box. It does still BOTHER me that I do not know how they were handled at the post office while exposed and in the open. Covid scares me. Toxins scare me, the PO is a public place where everything and everyone in the world can pass through... I associated the lack of care in the packaging as lack of concern which made me immediately question the actual quality of your product. I don’t want to feel or think that way because I WANT AND NEED to believe in the healing qualities of your product(s), as my health therefore my life depends on that fact. Following us my original comment, I think you for your response, I hope you address the care and quality of your shipping of your products so that it looks upon arrival the class act you state it is, and seems upon arrival it is worth it to pay the price for them. Perfume, “Parfumerie”...or even a classy bar of soap, they wrap some of those things so they are special through every layer - I bought a picture once and the back was every bit as beautifully completed as the front because the artist cared about quality, it’s not that you have to spend a lot of extra money but if you do it does not matter if you have a good profit margin. I’ve received shoes in the mail I wear on my feet packaged better than a health supplement I’m going to put in my mouth. I sprayed each bottle with Lysol then rinsed off and wiped down each bottle, worried it could be compromised by toxins and heat. To know that the package was not held up does relieve anxiety about heat. It was all there, every bottle, the bottles were not opened or damaged. I will take your products believing in them with just a thought now and then that this should not happen - I feel like I’m buying gold when I purchase your products because I’m counting on them to work... don’t give anyone else an experience like this, if you can help it. That’s my advice and my experience. If you are the company that truly believes in this product because it truly is quality, I hope I end up believing because it helps heal me. Today, my legs are moving just a little better, and I have hope. I have added some anti inflammatory herbs and your curcumin product and I have hope in this combination, and I feel I have a renewed and revitalized interest and hope in my current health journey. Health is vitality, vitality is the key to life. I do not know how the package or supplements were treated while delayed at the post office - I don’t know if the bottles rolled around or exposed to heat since we are in the 90’s or were handled carelessly during this time of Covid. I am angry yes angry that I would spend SO MUCH OF MY MONEY on supplements that YOU should have cared enough to pack up safely with quality assurance going into the handling not dumped into some flimsy box without any proper attention or care done in the wrapping of thought of safe delivery).

That being said, it looks like there was indeed a challenge with the carrier, where the package was damaged and needed to be repackaged. We're so sorry that happened. What I can tell from the tracking, is that the package was not delayed during the actual time in transit, the tracking info shows consistent movement, which means the package was not open and in just sitting somewhere in the heat, so that helps. Also, the Beta Glucan is not temperature sensitive, so all is well with that. I don't know if all of the original packing materials were included in the package once the Post Office re-packaged the damaged box. However, we'll be sure to reach out to our fulfillment center and pass on this feedback. I would like to talk to you more about your experience, and I have some ideas of ways we can bless you. I'll be calling you sometime after 9:00 in your time zone, to share my ideas, and see if you find them to be a satisfactory resolution to situation you experienced. $900 order not received. No refund offered.
I did not receive my order and was told I could not be refunded. I am on benefits and spent over USD$900. I live in the UK and am recovering from a crainiotomy from a brain tumor. Highly disappointed. I do not trust this website!!!!

Sean, we're so sorry that you are disappointed you haven't received your order yet. Our website shares that international orders with standard shipping, are taking 2-3 weeks to be delivered. You shared this review 5 business days after your order had processed. It sounds like your expectation was that you would have the order within 3 business days, and that 5 days was considered to be past the deadline. With that expectation, it's understandable why you feel disappointed or frustrated. In the meantime, a 3-5 day time frame is not anything we as a company have shared as the normal shipping parameters (unless you specifically selected the UPS Worldwide Expedited shipping option). We're very transparent about this, and would not give indications that international orders will arrive that quickly. Also, please know that the country we shipped your order to, has shown a pattern of delays at Customs. While that is completely out of our control, and we hope you don't experience this, we do want you to know it's a possibility.

Order €200 not received and there is no reply!
I have placed order 3 weeks ago in value nearly €200 but not received it. I have also not received reply for my email yet. Therefore I am not sure if I was scammed by this company !

Hi Dr. Ogden, I'm so sorry that you were unhappy with your experience! I can assure you we do our very best to make each and every customer happy. I checked our records and we responded to you as soon as we opened the day after you emailed in. I'm assuming you did not receive our response? Just to be sure, we sent you 3 separate emails from different company email addresses. We also tried calling, but the number(s) on file do not seem to be working. Your order was placed on November 26th at 5:58pm ET during our busiest time of the year and it was shipped promptly on the very same day. It is just now past 2 weeks, which is standard when the USPS shipping option is selected. The 5-7 business day delivery estimate is when DHL Express is purchased. We explain it this way in our videos and information provided on our website. USPS Priority Mail International is a great option, but tends to be much slower than DHL. We totally agree, that there is a lot of hype out there in the supplement industry....companies have great marketing strategies to sell inferior products. It's actually really sad. As a supplement company, Better Way Health has chosen to be an evidence based supplement company. We look to what the science and research shows about a product, and will only carry what that scientific evidence backs as being effective. We actually only carry 4 products because of our commitment to this standard. We chose to carry this specific beta glucan because it's backed by clinical studies and research that has been published in medical journals. The third party comparative studies, show that it's by far, the most effective product for raising the immune response. I wanted to return a product under 60 day warranty…
I wanted to return a product under you're 60 day return policy. I was told it was more than 60 days since the order date. I did not receive the product until a week after the order date and hadn't quite finished the second bottle. Most other companies I have delt with have been more lenient, especially in the case of a few days delinquency. It should be made very clear upfront when the warranty period starts.

I appreciate the offer to add to my regular order, but I did add to it on 11/10 and it still hasn't shipped. I wouldn't have added to it if I had known it would cause such a delay. That should be disclosed if you offer to add to a shipment.

Hoping the wait is worth it.
I appreciate the detailed email that I have just received, explaining the purchasing process for someone in the UK. I ordered supplements weeks ago and had not heard anything about delivery. I did receive regular invitations to rate the company so that is why I posted my response. The experience did dampen my enthusiasm about the company and their products. I look forward to receiving my goods and will explore purchasing from a UK based distributor in future.

Make it clear it is US $
It would be good to explain to people in Australia that the price is in American dollars and not Australian . Suddenly the cost almost doubles and it is too late to think about if you want to spend that much.. I think I would rather know the real cost and make an informed decision

I attempted to order 6 bottles of beta…
I attempted to order 6 bottles of beta glucan on line but it always made the number of bottles increase. Also I thought it was too complicated to finish the order so i called the phone number on the page and placed my order that way, which worked well.
