My experience with The Art of Jewels has been fantastic! It was quick and easy to purchase my one of a kind ring for my one of a kind someone! The selection of both diamonds and settings was huge, and I really liked the ability to choose from so many different diamonds. I was able to see all of the specifications and inclusions on my diamond completely online. I was hesitant with purchasing a ring without seeing it first, but my ring is even more beautiful in person than it was online! I couldn't be more satisfied!

Awesome prices and quality of products
I'm considered to be a true regular of jewelry stores, because I love wearing various accessories. In my opinion, they underline the whole style of a human being and make his/her style more outstanding. When you see that something is sparkling, then it's a feature of wealth. Anyway, I found this company because once I wanted to acquire a necklace. I have never weared necklaces before, so it was my first necklace and I wanted it look stylish. The managers here looked pretty polite and the prices here also weren't so high. Guess that it's the most suitable jewelry store for me.

I ordered my wife’s engagement ring and wedding ring from the Art of Jewels. Each time the ring arrived significantly later than the website said. I also spoke to multiple customer service representatives that would tell me my rings would arrive quicker than they actually would. I was satisfied with the product, but very disappointed with the process. I don’t think I’ll be ordering from them again. In response to the Art of Jewels, I didn’t request the ring to be sent on a specific date

Hello and thank you for shopping with The Art of Jewels. As you probably know, we work tirelessly to ensure that every experience with us is an excellent one. We have reviewed your orders and see that the 1st time you ordered from us around March, it was placed through Rare Carat, another channel, who failed to submit us the order in a timely manner. We shipped the ring within the noted 8-10 business days, which in your case was the 12th business day due to Rare Carat’s failure to send it to us in a timely matter. We do apologize that this happened, however assure you the delay was not caused by us. We also want to thank you for being a repeat customer! We value your business immensely and during the most recent order in December, you specifically asked to receive the ring on Dec 10th, so we shipped it via FedEx on the 8th and you received it on Dec. 9th, one day earlier. We even responded to you and gave you consistent updates throughout the process and in both cases, we delivered the items on time. The first within the 8-10 business days from the day we received the order and the second, one day prior to the day you requested the ring. Based on our documentation, neither order was actually late and normally, we would immediately send an item, however in the second case, it was requested on a specific date. Additionally, please know that delays can actually sometimes happen as you can see in our shipping section in the attached link with reasons: https://www.theartofjewels.com/static.php?page=about-us/how_we_save_you_money, however in your case, we delivered on time for both purchases. Two attempts at sending, sooo frustrating
Two attempts at sending, 1st time back to San Francisco the second time re sent with the same incorrect contact details that they were dismissive of checking. Stuck at customs again. About a dozen emails 5+ wasted weeks on a £2300 + import duty ( if they’d ever given FedEx the right details for me to pay it. ) Kept in touch well but that’s about it. Save yourself the grief, buy elsewhere.

Your review saddens me as we both know that The Art of Jewels is not the entity to be blamed for your unfortunate experience with UK customs. Our check-out process is consumer-friendly and is used by the most reputable online retailers in the world. After selecting an item, adding the selected item to your cart, and proceeding to check- out The Art of Jewels requires its customers to complete the following information: Full Name Billing Address Shipping address Telephone number and Email address. This is customary in online shopping. This information is being provided to us by you, the customer. Therefore it is your responsibility to provide us with your correct information. Only after providing the above-required information, a check-out can be completed with payment. Normally, the payment processing company, which is the same one that is being used by most reputable online retailers, either approves or denies the payment and this is partially done based on verification of the billing address provided by the customer. Again this process is being used by every reputable online retailer in the world. You, the customer, provide us with the shipping information including the best phone number to reach you. This information is crucial for our shipping department as they solely rely on your wishes when they ship the item that you purchased. As soon as check-out is completed, The Art of Jewels will send its customers an automated email that includes an invoice with all the details that they provided The Art of Jewels during check-out. This gives the customer the opportunity to review the invoice, including the contact information, and if changes need to be made to let us know promptly. Moreover, to securely ship your package, The Art of Jewels fully insures the purchase at no cost to you, and prior to shipping, emails the customer with a hyperlink of the carrier tracking number. Once the customer clicks on this link, he/she/it/they can view all the information that the Art of Jewels provided the shipping carrier, i.e. the shipping address and phone number to contact the customer. This gives the customer yet another opportunity to notify us of any changes. The phone number provided by the customer is a crucial component of the shipping process. It's the only way the carrier can contact the customer in case of an emergency or if the carrier has any questions. The phone number that is provided by the customer is always on the shipping label. Again, like every other reputable online retailer, The Art of Jewels relies on the information provided by you, the consumer. This is reasonable and customary. On November 15th, 2021 The Art of Jewels received an order from you. As part of the process and as customary, you received an automated email from us with your invoice. The invoice included the contact information that was provided by you. Since you reside in the UK, The Art of Jewels, as a US company, is required to fill out a custom commercial invoice, which includes the contact information provided by you. Again, this is customary and required for every international shipping. The Art of Jewels promptly sent you an email containing the shipping information, your contact information, and a tracking number. At no point did you advise us that you provided us with the wrong phone number and that you wish to make changes to the information that you provided us with. As customary with international shipping, the carrier, in this case, FedEx, submitted your package plus the international commercial invoice to the UK’s customs authority to be cleared. At this point, customs reviewed and assessed its fees. This process has nothing to do with The Art of Jewels and is customary to almost every international shipment. If customs decides that there are fees or additional information that are required for the package to be cleared, customs will contact the customer directly. This is why the information provided by the customer is crucial. After clearing customs the package will be picked up by FedEx and delivered to the customer. The Art of Jewels shipped your order on November 16th, 2021, one day after you have placed your order, via FedEx with all the necessary documents including the contact information that you provided us with. Once the package arrived in the UK, it is our understanding that the UK’s customs held the package and attempted to reach you at the telephone number that you provided us with numerous times, to no avail. Only on December 13th, 2021 we receive an email from you informing us that your package is held by the UK’s customs. We immediately responded and launched an investigation with FEDEX. Since our representatives cannot contact the UK customs directly we called every day to FEDEX international inquiring about the package's whereabouts. FedEx informed us that their representatives were trying to contact you to no avail. On December 15th, 2021, The Art of Jewels was notified that your package is being returned to the US due to UK’s customs and FEDEX's inability to reach you at the phone number that you provided us with. It is customary that when the customer fails to communicate with customs and FEDEX, that his/her/it/ their package/s will be returned to the sender. On December 27th, 2021 we received the package. The Art of Jewels was completely transparent with you at all times. We kept you apprised at all times as to the status of your package, our representatives constantly have been trying to help you solve a situation that was created not due to our conduct. On December 27th, 2021 we immediately shipped you back the package at no cost. We sent you the hyperlink tracking number that includes all of your contact information, as was provided by you when you placed your order. You did not dispute the information and did not ask us to change any of your contact information. On December 29th, 2021 FEDEX contacted The Art of Jewels and advised us that they are trying to call you to no avail. We immediately contacted you to advise that FEDEX is once again unable to reach you. This was the first time that you informed us that you provided us with the wrong phone number. In return, we immediately contacted FEDEX and provided them with the new phone number you provided us with. Moreover, this was the first time that you also advised us that you do not have the time to answer UK’s customs and/or FEDEX. We explained to you, that if you refuse and/or are unavailable to respond to FedEx and/or UK’s customs that you need to make the proper arrangements, as the package will not be released to you. Again, UK customs and FEDEX are not controlled by The Art of Jewels and we cannot dictate their policies and procedures. The Art of Jewels like every other reputable online retailer relies on you, the consumer, to provide us with the correct contact information. We give you ample opportunities to make changes to such information. However, providing any company with the wrong contact information and/or not being available to answer the carrier or customs may result in delays and frustration. In the end, such frustration is unjustifiably being taken out on the retailer. No company controls FedEx and no company controls the UK’s customs. All companies rely solely on the contact information provided by the consumer. Here, at The Art of Jewels, we truly hope that once the dust settles down and you receive your package, that you realize that we fulfilled all the promises we made to you. The Art of Jewels promptly fulfilled and shipped your order and delivered to you a quality product and extraordinary customer service. We hope that upon receipt of your package you will remove this uncalled for review, which we are sure was written in the heat of the moment. Not a scam like everyone thinks online diamond shopping is
I found a really great diamond for a third of the price of a jewelry store. I thought it might be a scam like everyone else but it is not and I was emailing with the guy there to get the setting custom made and he respond so quick and made a beautiful setting right like I asked him too. Great experience over all and I’m very thankful for the Art Of Jewels because they made my dreams of marrying my girlfriend a cost effective reality. PS we took it in to a diamond store to get resized and they tested all of the diamonds and gold and it was all real.
