Excellent Customer Service
UPDATE: After some initial communication problems and challenges reaching people Sohnne has been very responsive and helpful. They shipped out the replacement parts and solved my problems and I am very happy with the end result I purchased their classic lounge chair and ottoman for $1,200 The unit came disassembled but assembly was problematic One of the bolts was defective and could not be used leaving the armrest unsecured. The base attachment to the seat was engineered with poor tolerances making the fitting tight and requiring over-straining of the bolts and stripping of paint and metal to get the unit together Attempts to contact the company were met with silence (email - no response, twitter - no response and calling the number on their website - no response, phone was never answered)

Purchased chair and two days later…
Purchased chair and two days later cancelled order. They didn’t cancel but asked for $50 cancel fee. Before I could answer the chair arrived anyway. I’ve been in email contact ever since delivery to return the chair. You can not return unless you get a decision from them to return. Their website offers a form to submit but there is no place to download the form. Now I’m waiting for over a week to hear back to get a return label. I was told “I will be contacted when she gets update from management. “ A simple cancellation has now turned into a major waste of my time to keep following up on this. Any order online from another Co would immediately send return label and credit. This all started Aug 27

Great customer service
Ordered the tall version lounge chair. Leather is pretty soft to touch. Cushions are firm and comfortable. Overall build is solid. Good value for this classic lounge chair. Pretty easy to assemble. Contacted customer service for one missing part. Got response within a few hours and took care of the issue. I am pretty satisfied with this purchase.

They improved
The first time I bought something at Sohnne, the experience was fine. But the second time was something else – they had really improved their timeframe and delivery methods! The item was delivered in 3 to 4 days and was well-packed without a single scratch, despite being HEAVY. It seems to be of high quality for a replica. Another thing I'd like to highlight is their transparency. They've now added a label to each item indicating that it's a replica.

Red Flags with Sohnne
I wish I had found these reviews before placing my order and now started digging on the company. I think the following just scratches the surface: 1. It has been 20 days and I don't have a reliable tracking number. I received one for a China Post shipping, but the China Post link said the order was delivered before I even placed mine. Once I raise this issue with the Sohnne chatbot "Alicia S." Now the link is down. 2. The Trust Pilot main page for Sohnne warns that some reviews have been removed indicating Sohnne was buying/posting reviews themselves. 3. See other reviews on this site. 4. They only answer chat/email during Asia business hours, so they are clearly not in US (San Francisco) or UK as indicated on their site. 5. They didn't charge sales tax - a big no no for U.S. retail sales. 6. If you walk through their reviews on Facebook, they are clearly manufactured, as some pictures overlap, locations overlap, and friend groups overlap. 7. If you do a Google reverse image search on the photos from their site, you will find they were copied from other sites. 1/17 UPDATE: I did receive the chair, so I am going to give Sohnne a couple stars. The quality seems fine. However, it came in two boxes through USPS, not FedEx as indicated on the site. The boxes were air shipped from Beijing and USPS would not deliver the bigger box as it had $100 postage due! The post office said the box should never have been accepted by the air shipper as it is too big for USPS. I didn't argue with the postage due as I already had the stool delivered the previous day and just wanted to move on from one of the weirder transactions I have made online.

Well worth the price
I recently bought the Kyoto Table from Sohnne and it’s been a great addition to my home. I knew about this iconic table for some time. The design of the table is beautiful. Being a functional piece of art, it was immediately eye-catching to me and I just had to have it. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase! It looks great in my living room and is well worth the price I paid for it given its quality construction and artistic design. Stylish and very comfortable!
I just bought the Sohnne Classic Lounge Chair, and I have to say that it is a luxurious and classic piece of furniture. It has a style and is very comfortable. The chair seems made of 100% genuine top-grain leather and has a frame made of robust steel. I really like how comfortable the seat cushion is. It's just soft enough to hold my body without making me feel too tight. Because it has a wide base, I can put my feet up after a long day at work. Overall, I would highly recommend this!

I ordered a Lounge Barcelona chair in october 2022, that never came, it seemed they did not have it and told us initially it will arrive end of november, it never came, then that it was in the US but going thourhg customs, it never came, we are now 1Feb 2023 it turns out after pharrassing them that thechair was still in China!! Lies, lies, lies! Now as we ended up buying another char, they refuse to refund us! EXcellent service really. I truly being lied at. This morning I called their customer line and it has all the flavour of a scam, automatic voice that takes you to a line where no one answer. NEVER AGAIN!
