Inaccurate description of results, fear based upselling and reselling.
Required more personal information then necessary. Specifically to sell to unnamed and unlimited third parties. Removing this information is difficult and relies on "Trust Us". Lancet was atrocious. My finger hurt for days, was bruised for over more than a week. Tried to upsell tests multiple times, using progressive fear tactics. Results took 4 days after acknowledgement of receipt, which isn't bad. But accuracy of results is dubious after the rest of the experience. And description of results do not accurately match medical literature, stating suboptimal desired levels and using more fear in order to sell more tests.

I like the quality and the breadth of your research
I like the quality of your research. I like your test kit. I wish the video that demonstrates how to use the test kit were more easily accessible to the consumer. Such as a simple link on your website. These tests are so hard to find any where at such fair pricing. Please add more tests to your portfolio. Since you are a co-founder of the Omega 3 Test, and pioneered this research and dedicated the longest years to producing this test, you are considered by many as the world expert in this area. Our Story
Dr. Bill Harris, a leading expert in omega-3 fatty acids, founded OmegaQuant in 2009. He obtained his Ph.D. in Human Nutrition from the University of Minnesota and did post-doctoral fellowships in Clinical Nutrition and Lipid Metabolism with Dr. Bill Connor at the Oregon Health Sciences University.
His interest in omega-3 fatty acids began with his postdoctoral work when he published his first study on the effects of salmon oil on serum lipids in humans (1980). Since that time he has been the recipient of five NIH grants for studies on the effects of omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA) on human health.
He has more than 350 publications relating to fatty acids, including omega-3s, in medical literature and was an author on two American Heart Association scientific statements on fatty acids: “Fish Consumption, Fish Oil, Omega-3 Fatty Acids and Cardiovascular Disease” (2002), and “Omega-6 Fatty Acids and Risk for Cardiovascular Disease” (2009) both published in the journal Circulation.
Dr. Harris co-invented the Omega-3 Index in 2004 and made it commercially available to the research community and the public in 2009. To date, the Omega-3 Index has been used as the standard measure of omega-3 status in more than 200 clinical studies.
Dr. Harris is also a Professor in the Department of Medicine in the Sanford School of Medicine at the University of South Dakota.
Dr. Harris moved on as OmegaQuant’s President in late 2020 to establish the Fatty Acid Research Institute (FARI), where he will go back to his roots of conducting research on fatty acids and health.
