BEWARE OF THE 'NO REFUND POLICY' AT THE IDEAL HOME KEDEM COSMETIC/BEAUTY STAND
After buying some cosmetic eye/ face creams at the KEDEM stand of the Ideal Home Show at Earls Court, I had a bad allergic reaction to something in them, I ended up with swollen watering red & itchy eyes, I have never had a reaction like that with anything I have used before. I Contacted them and explained what had happened, and wanted to return for refund. CUSTOMER SERVICE ZERO ! Totally unsympathetic - a) Items bought at exhibitions DO NOT GET REFUNDS(their rules) supposedly on a sign ?? somewhere ?? It was not there or in a prominent position when I visited the stand. If I hadn't opened them they may have considered it - how are you supposed to use them if you havn't opened them? BE AWARE WHAT CAN HAPPEN BEFORE YOU BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE. You will not get any help whatsoever, just fobbed off with excuses, i.e. "It's been tested" and quoting 'sale of goods act'. I am very disappointed in their attitude and lack of support for the customer. I would rather give them ZERO STARS but have to put 1 to post this.

DON'T BUY THIS! FRAUDULENT!
Absolutely fraudulent company, don't buy their products. They were mis-sold to me at the Ideal Home Show. When I contacted their customer services team they were extremely unhelpful to put it mildly. When I tried to return the products in perfect condition this too was refuted. They really should not be allowed to sell at all in large reputable exhibitions!

AWFUL, AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE
After just having read the 2 previous reviews below, I too am going to write something along the same lines... My mum and I went to the ideal home show, and tested out the eye and neck cream product, which was fine on her skin. However, when she then was pressured into spending £300 on products (including the eye and neck cream she had tested), and tried product at home, it has left her with red, swollen, inflamed skin all around her eye-area, and even now after a week of not using the product, her skin is still very much damaged. I was determined to get the £300 back of this scheming company, so went back to the ideal home show to the stand. I arrived and calmly explained the situation - the product which she tried on the stand (that didnt give her a reaction) has now damaged her skin after spending £300 on it and trying it at home. I simply said this doesnt make sense, and clearly the product they are using as a tester is different to the one being sold. After being told no for a refund, i simply told him we are entitled to a refund as the product was not fit for the purpose of use. He then proceed to quote the "term of sales" act (or some act along those lines) and then said he cant refund us as the product has been opened. How can we try the product without opening it?! The guy on the stall then thought he'd call security to try and keep us quiet and chuck us out, but turns out this just worked in our favour. By having 3 security guards around the Kedem stand, of course we were bad publicity, so then another "boss" turned up, and finally realised the only way that we would leave was with our £300 back, so decided to refund us quickly, and get security moving! This company is shocking and frankly just money-grabbing!! For future people in the same position, be persistent with the rude staff and dont leave without a refund - you're entitled to one!

Dreadful avoid at all cost
I can only endorse the comments from the other users who have sought a refund. I have not even had a response from them and their email address clearly does not work as it keeps bouncing back. I am making a claim via my credit card but they are being difficult too. The products have caused a skin reaction for me too. Avoid this company and the products .

gorgeous products
The products are lovely and even my beauty therapist said my skin had improved A LOT since using them. I have noticed there are a lot of negative comments but not all products suit all skin types I suppose and I've had reactions from using products that used to be called Olay and can't use them. However, these products, for me, are just wonderful. I would never buy anything else. Plus the staff in the shop were so helpful and let me try lots of different products before I decided on what I wanted.

Never turned up and ignore your emails
I can't review the physical shop, but the on-line experience was terrible. My order never turned up and it took several weeks to get any kind of response from them. In the end I had to get Paypal to recover my money for me, which ended in my favour when they ignored Paypal, as well If you do use the site, buy with a credit card of paypal to protect yourself.

great products for dry skin
I purchased the lemongrass body scrub and body butter together and I am glad I did. I was only going to purchase the body butter the man who helped me insisted on purchasing the both of them as they work together and he was very right. I have very dry skin and it is difficult to use anything on my skin that will seal in the moisture. The body scrub has dead sea minerals, Aromatic oils and seaweed , the oils in this scrub seem to really moisturise your skin even after washing in the shower or bath and then after drying off and applying the body butter it actually seems to seel in the moisture all day and even into the night. I had purchased these products whilst I was on a snowboarding trip in Austria and I was just amazed that through the cold dry weather and being extremely active all day, my body stayed moisturised for at least 24 hours. If you use the body butter on its own, it does not keep your body as moisturised ie that is why it is best to use both one after another. Just thought I would also point out that the lemongrass smells incredible and I smell fresh all day (boyfriend loves it ;) ). I hope this has helped some people in there desicion to purchase or not etc.

Deceiving fraudulant scum
Wasted more than 1 hour with these guys at the Ideal Home Show. Felt as if i was a hostage, they tried to bully me into buying some face cream and scrub at a starting price that was triple the online price. Luckily i checked on line during one of the times the saleperson went round the back to 'beg' his manager for more discount for me. Thankfully went near end of the day and it was close to closing time hence they had no option but to allow me to leave. Also had my 2 year old daughter with me who after 1 hour of sitting in one place in the pushchair was becoming irritable, agitated, uncomfortable and hungry. These guys are bullies, deceivors and have zero compassion...just want to fleece the innocent public with ridiculous sales tactics. To be frank i can't belive the organisirs allow these types of frauds to exhibit at such shows.

I am a former employee
Terrible company. We had to shipped expired products, the dates are being changed so the owner do not lose money. I wouldn't put any of this products on my skin even if you pay me to do it! Had to lie multiples times and daily to clients. Very bad way of doing business.

Do not let them bully you into buying their products!
Would give 0 stars if possible. My boyfriend and I were approached by a man working for Kedem/Kedma cosmetics in Edinburgh's Waverley Mall. We were going to have a bite to eat when a man (who initially I thought was working for The Body Shop) stood in our way and tried selling us some skin creams. At first I listened to him as like I said, I didn't know who he was working for, but then realised when he sat me in a chair by their stall and started testing face masks on my face that he wasn't working for who I initially thought. After having the face masks removed from my face I tried to tell him I wasn't interested in his products multiple times, but he continued to lower the price, give me the bag with the product in it before I'd even paid for it, handing me the chip and pin machine and pressurising me into paying for his products to the point of where I genuinely felt harassed. I ended up paying for some stuff just so he left me alone, and in the good faith that the items I paid for would be genuine and worth the money. However, after forking out £85 for two items he started trying to pressurise me into buying something else, claiming that for the other two items to work I had to pay for a third item. I uncompromisingly said no, so he started trying to pressurise my boyfriend into buying it for me, to which eventually to my disappointment my boyfriend complied and paid £50 for a third item. After we left, my boyfriend Googled this company and it only took him 2 minutes of online research to find out that the company are most likely fraudulent. So 20 minutes after paying for the products I returned demanding a refund to which the man replied that he "cannot refund me here as the boss (even though when he was selling the products to me he claimed to be the boss) was away in Tenerife for two weeks" and that I'd have to email them to organise a refund or to return to the stall when the "boss" was back. Which was impossible for us as we're from Blackpool visiting Edinburgh for only a couple of days, and we were getting the train to go home on that day. My boyfriend noticed a mobile number that was stuck on the side of the stall and rang that, to which there was no answer. So the man gave us an alternative number to phone to which there was also no answer. As it appeared there was no way we'd get our money back we left, and when we got back to our hotel my boyfriend noticed that he had a missed call from one of the numbers the guy from Kedem gave us, so my he rang them back and he finally got answered by a woman who could apparently barely speak English and had screaming children in the background, to which she asked him "where he got this number from". After explaining what happened she could only suggest emailing them to organise a refund. We did as she suggested and we haven't received a response. As of yet I have no reason to believe that this company are legitimate. I have emailed Waverley Hall in the hope that they will chase this up and hopefully stop this company from using their borderline harassment sale tactics on other people or even better, remove them from the mall entirely. Me and my boyfriend will probably not get our money back but hopefully I can stop others from feeling pressured into buying their products, as this ruined the end of our otherwise brilliant trip to Edinburgh. Suggestion: Please, JUST WALK AWAY, don't try and tell them as they won't take no for an answer.

Great Products
I have been using Kedem cosmetics products for a year now and I can easily say that these are the best I ever had. I especially love their face care lifting serum, it is just divine. My face has not changed in the past year and my beautician said that for women over 30 (I am almost 40) - no change and no new wrinkles are the best sign that the products I am using are really working

Fantastic!
Absolutely love these products. I use the eye serum and cream and can see a difference in just a week of usage. The body salt scrub is also really nice and makes my skin feel smooth all the time. Highly recommend :-)

Great Costumer service!
I got in to this beautiful shop in the 1st district in Vienna, and was approached by a young man asking me if i speak a bit English. He was very pleased when i told him i do! He was lovely and showed me a beautiful mask which is a part of the gold premium set. during the working time of the mask, he also exfoliated the skin in my hands with a salt scrub. absolutely pleasant! i bought the gold set and the body set. after a week i felt a bit uncomfortable with the mask, after using it, came to the shop and talked with the big boss, he immediately asked me what i want instead. got my self a new mask which is PERFECT! Collagen mask! highly recommended! Great Experience! Great Shop!

Bullies, don't go near
More than likely this caution is too late, I have never experienced such aggressive sales tactics- which target a particular demographic (women, usually on their own) public arena,in broad daylight and bank on said targets not to tell them to get lost on account of their good manners; you have to be equally aggressive to communicate "no". Highly sophisticated and unethical practices which will no doubt morph into another outfit. Complain to shopping centre, let's shut this down!

Lovely Products - lovely salesman
I thought the salt scrub was fantastic, I find it staggering that the other reviews claim it's the sales peoples' fault they were "pressured into spending £300" (or another ridiculous amount) I would definitely not have spent anywhere near £100 or even £50. I left with the exact thing I had in mind for less than the online price. I wouldn't part with a single penny of my hard earned money if I felt I was being pressured into it.

Good product and friendly sales rep
I was walking through Manchester on my own when a lady from the kedma shop stopped me and asked if she could give me a free sample of their salt scrub, I decided to go in the shop and see what it was. The lady was friendly and talked me through the products whilst I tried out one of the salt scrubs, I was a bit put off by the prices as I wouldn't spend upwards of £50 on cosmetics, but I ended up with the 500g kiwi and mango salt scrub for £20 and a 30% discount if I decide to visit again. I've used the product for 2weeks and still have just over half left, I would buy it again. There seems to be a lot of negative comments about bullying sales tactics and for all I know they may be true, although I did not experience anything like that. Surely if you don't want to buy something or you feel harassed then just walk away.

Appaling!!!!! Warning: Stay away!!!!!
A few weeks ago I was in Cameron Toll, a shopping Centre in Edinburgh. I had just come back from the Hospice where I had visited a friend and I felt very, very raw. I passed the Kedem Sales Stand and was stopped by a young Man who suggested for me to try a face peeling so I sat down. He showed me the result on the mirror and yes, I was convinced by the treatment and my skin did feel nice but I told him that I am one of those rare women that **never** use cosmetics and I am happy the way I am; also, I told him, I am just back from the Hospice where I have cried and my face goes naturally red after cycling to the Shopping Centre in the cold. (I am a keen Cyclist and Runner, both keep my skin looking fresh and I always get compliments for how young I look) - don't think the Sales Man was interested at all, he didn't really listen to me, he just kept talking and saying that I have a skin condition that makes my face red and "this skin condition will get worse IF untreated". Like in previous reviews I experienced being a "hostage" of the "charming" Kedem Sales Man; and the stuff he came out with! Just a few examples here: "you must get rid of your Moustache (caused by sun). THIS skin serum will do it"; "your skin will look terrible if you continue to not use any cream for the next ten years"; "what does your husband say to your unattractive dry skin?" and on an on he went, adding "gifts" to the skin package he wanted to sell me e.g. Bodylotion and Aftershave for my husband. I kept saying to him that I work part-time and he asked me if the £240 would really make a difference to my bank account??? "Would that really make you poor today or tomorrow" he asked me. "You are investing in your future with these products" he kept telling me. Seriously, in retrospective I should have just run away!!! At the end I spend £240 for three different skin products and he added fife other products as "personal gifts" for me. I am left so, so angry with myself for being so stupid but I am also appaled by the sales-tactics of this young Man and others from this Company (I have been talked into buying a Salt Scrub a few years ago). Also, I would like to add and that is perhaps even more appaling than anything else: the products are not that great at all !!!!! Of course I don't have experience as I have never used stuff on my face before but I have not noticed any difference since using the Kedem Products. The Sales Man had asked me to email him a "before" and "after" photo of my face - there won't be one as I am not looking any different after using his products of poor quality. STAY AWAY from this Company. Please.

About
Our story begins in a distant place many years ago. It involves a woman, a queen named Cleopatra, who changed the conception of beauty until this very day. She discovered natural treasures that helped her revive her beauty and youth: Dead Sea minerals and Gold. Cleopatra recognized the beneficial effects of the Dead Sea minerals on the skin and their unique therapeutic and beautifying powers, and went to great expense to obtain exclusive rights over the Dead Sea area. At her command, pharmaceutical and cosmetic factories were built near the Dead Sea.
