You sent email after email saying the item ordered would arrive in 30 days but it never did. Very hard to pay 1k and get emails every 30 days. Poor service.

I ordered a bed but when the delivery company arrived 1 of the 3 boxes had chairs in it. So I had to refuse the delivery. I am still waiting to hear back from the company.

Bought stools in November and you sent…
Bought stools in November and you sent 3 correct stool and one swivel chair. Did everything you asked of us and the process to get the correct stool took about 3 months. Kept getting the run around and promised a call for delivery for weeks and finally just got it. Your customer service is not good and I will never order anything from your business again!

Order took forever for shipping then was damaged
Ordered the table 2.5 months before it showed. Very difficult to get ahold of consistent customer service at kathy Kuo and then the courier delivery service was even worse. Delivery was delayed three different times then when they finally showed they tried to delivery 2 tables instead of one. And there was chips in the table. Very unhappy with the whole experience and will not shop at kathy kuo again.

Wrong item, company can't figure out how to fix it
So, I ordered a chair before christmas. Come the end of january, it was delivered. They sent the wrong color. I've had wrong items in the past, no big deal. WRONG. I've been waiting about three weeks now for the item to be picked up, with two different carriers, the first saying they don't pick up items in boxes, the second saying they don't have any routes. I've had to spend literally hours on the phone trying to sort this out, at least 5 hours so far. I don't even care when the replacement will be here, I just don't even want it anymore. I wish I just ordered from wayfair.

I ordered a wedding gift from here and it took almost a year for the couple to receive it. I contacted customer service several times to inquire about the issue and was told they would find out and get back to me. They never reached back out to me and when I would call to follow up I was told they had no idea where the order was and did not know if it would ever be delivered.

I am not one to publicly criticize but it seems only if there is a public critique there is followup from this company. I ordered a chandelier and understood after a couple of emails that it was not in stock as I thought. Fine, I get the delays. Then the product was delivered. No issues at all. I then called to schedule an electrician to wire and hang. When the flat box was opened the night before electrician appointment, one of the arms was disconnected from the bottom base. This would have been fixable if iron, but it was metal, so no sawdering. This was a $1200 chandelier that I got on sale. I have been trying to get assistance for the last 2 weeks, finally following what I have seen in reviews to not go through customer service or claims, but go through interior decorators or new orders via phone. I am out of the cost of the chandelier and the electrician who came to install. I am hoping that as others have complained on here I will get assistance. I am hoping that Kathy Kuo's responses that it appears that the customer is working with "XYZ CS rep" does not apply. I have got a hold of a couple of reps, but barely any follow up except to say we will advise you within a day.

An $1,800 dresser arrived damaged with…
An $1,800 dresser arrived damaged with split wood on the front doors (not design destressed), along with a warped (read: bent) right door that does not close, and a warped interior shelf that does not lay flush. As a dissatisfying comment - the color of the photos on the website and in the delivery pamphlet do not match the actual finish of the item. The initial response from the customer service rep was to contact they manufacturer and they offered to send someone out to repair the furniture. This item was purchased NEW! - not damaged, in need of repairs. This is a terrible attempt at a first resolution and poor representation of what Kathy Kuo Homes intends to be.

Unprofessional experience.
15% promo code was not deducted after repeated attempts. Delivery was the worst experience. Stools were dropped off on the sidewalk. No call. No nothing. What do I do with a pallet.

Deceptive and Poor Service
In October 2022, we ordered an item from KKH that was listed as "in stock" and it would be delivered in 3-4 weeks. One month later received email from Kathy Kuo stating that delivery was canceled and now would be delivered first week of January. We bought item to be used over holidays so that was incredibly disappointing. Wrote to them last week of December 2022, representative writes back saying "yes, it will be delivered first week of January." First week of January is here, we got a message saying it will be delivered in April. Classic bait and switch- take your money- no product and nothing but excuses. DO NOT BUY FROM KATHY KUO. Avoid deception and poor customer service!

Good Luck if you receive the wrong item
I ordered matching Artwork (2 pieces) and received two DIFFERENT pieces of art, two different sizes. An obvious mistake from the factory and what I thought would be an easy fix from Kathy Kuo. I called and let them know the problem and that I would like the correct art shipped to me and I would return the wrong one. WOW...what has happened since that call is NOT what you would expect from a major retailer. I told them I wanted the correct art and their response was that it would be a 20% restocking fee to return. That's not what I asked and why would I pay a fee for Kathy Kuo mistake? I again asked for the correct art to be sent and again, they had no interest in what I was requesting...the rep then offered me $300 to keep the order as it was sent. NO, IT'S INCORRECT, I JUST WANT THE ART I ORDERED. It was clear at that point I was not talking to a person interested in making the problem right, they were simply reading a script, how disappointing. I then reached out directly to the customer service supervisor, Rhea Roxas, that explained I would need to send a bunch of photos of the art and the boxes and the labels...21 pictures later I received another email that I needed to send more pics. I believe at this point she was intentionally making things difficult for no apparent reason. I complied, unpacked the art again and sent further pics, none of which showed any more than the original 21 pics I sent, with a note that she would get back to me within 3-5 days. It's now been 16 days and two emails checking on the status and I have NEVER heard back from Rhea Roxas, Claims Team Representative for Kathy Kuo or anyone else, completely irresponsible. I have since cancelled another order for expensive nightstands that I had pending with Kathy Kuo as there is no way I'm going down this path again. I also disputed the transaction with my credit card company. Kathy Kuo and specifically Rhea Roxas has failed miserably in the most basic function of their job, to help a customer that received the wrong order. Shame on you Rhea Roxas.

I purchase a coffee table with a marble top and base. There was a significant wait. It was delivered by the freight company and was extremely well boxed. No way could I have checked the piece before signing. Anyway, when I unboxed it their is a chunk out of the marble. It was the weekend. When I called and sent photos there was one reply, but they made it clear that I did not meet their expectations of speed. They never responded further despite their promise. I am fine with keeping the table, but I payed a pretty price for a coffee table that wasn’t damaged. It would be reasonable for them to offer to reimburse a good amount. Buyer BEWARE!

How can I get someone from Kathy Kuo to help me?? The bench I received is the wrong color and very scratched up. I was finally given permission to return my bench with no restocking fee on 10/10. I was told to give them a business day or two. I have not heard anything back, and they will not return my calls or emails!

Kathy Kuo should be embarrassed. I wish I would have read these reviews before buying. I ordered two matching pendant lights; one arrived the wrong color. I contacted Kathy Kuo in September and returned the fixture (after 3 solid weeks of emailing/calling asking them to send me a RA#) now it's been another 3+ weeks I still do not even have confirmation of an expected ship date, no response from Claims in weeks. I would definitely NOT recommend buying anything from them. Still waiting on any communication of when the correct pendant light, that was long paid for and returned, will arrive. This is not how I'd expect a high-end retailer to handle their exchanges, especially when the incorrect product is sent out.

10 month wait; scratches; no resolution
I waited 10 months for a simple outdoor table that cost 500. Customer service kept me posted each time delivery was delayed. However, when the aluminum table finally arrived in early August, the top had many scratches and marks. I contacted claims immediately. They sent email right away and I sent lots of photos. They will not respond to follow up emails. I do not recommend buying expensive furniture from this company.

Wish I would have read these reviews before purchasing my kitchen table at Kathy Kuo. I waited for 3 months for it to arrive, and it came in two pieces, with screws not long enough to go through the base and into the top of the table. On top of that - there are no pre drilled holes in the table so we can line up where the screws would even go. I contacted Kathy Kuo claims 9 days ago, they responded asking for more info - I gave it to them and 4 emails later - no one has responded to me. So unprofessional. Now I am requesting to return the table, they can come pick it up and refund me or I'll dispute with my credit card company.
