Azlo sets the bar high for ease!
Azlo has a great system in place and an even better customer support team. No problem is too minor for them to solve and they're true professionals! We're very satisfied with my decision to begin our business relationship with Azlo. Truly a step in the right direction for business relationships.

The application denied for no reason. They don't even bother explaining why. Go find a better bank they don't worth it.

Lack of quick response time is an annoyance.
Needed a business banking account TODAY for accounting purposes. After doing my whole application, I was told my application is in review and it can take 2 business days. Don’t have that time and not looking for a bank that doesn’t do same day verification. So if you need an account without a waiting period, avoid.

Hassle Free Banking
Honestly this bank is so easy and customer friendly I wish they offered personal accounts! Every year there are new features added and the customer service is amazing if you get Erin she will go above and beyond!

After a month or more of back and forth…
After a month or more of back and forth to get the account setup without a good explanation of what the holdup was, I had the account for a few months without issue. Suddenly and again without explanation I receive an email today stating my account was being closed. I tried to get details from support but just got generic replies. Now I have mailed checks in transit to deposit in jeopardy, account balance to move, and billing debits to redirect to another account. I suppose you get exactly what you pay for. I have learned my lesson. I'd rather pay an account fee from a big box bank than to save a few bucks and get treated like this.

Azlo doesn't know banking laws and is likely racist or discriminates in another way
Azlo bank rejected us for a business account. Any bank worth anything would know the laws regarding rejection of accounts have to list the reasons why an application is being rejected under Federal law. Left a message on the unstaffed customer service line and woman who called back had no idea about disclosure requirements and actually said that the bank isn't allowed to tell people why they've been rejected. They're required to do so by the Fair Credit Reporting Act so they aren't knowledgeable about banking laws. I would say your money isn't safe here. Look below at other reviews where people's accounts are canceled and Azlo won't give a reason why as they are required to do. My explanation? The account holder is likely Black or some other "undesirable" demographic. Otherwise it doesn't make sense to get rid of account holders who are doing business with them and haven't caused any problems. You are much better off anywhere else. Edited to reply to JW's reply below. Actually, for a checking account also you need to tell the reason so you can dispute it if it's based on false information. The purpose, as Azlo would know if they obeyed it, of the laws requiring disclosure are to prevent red-lining and other discriminatory practices. The fact that this bank can say "It's not a good fit" to have an account with them and can't tell you why is exactly why disclosure requirements exist. The idea that they want to help entrepreneurs doesn't set well with the number of people here complaining about having their account closed and their business jeopardized for no reason. Scroll down. A number of people have raised the issue of race/ethnicity.

I can assure you that the discriminatory practices you're describing could not be further from the truth. Unfortunately, applications can be denied for a number of factors that come up during the review process, and we don't always have access to those specifics. Because we don't pull a credit report, the conditions of the Fair Credit Reporting act are not specifically related to this aspect our application review process. We completely understand your frustration and are sorry that we weren't able to offer your business an account at this time. Waste of Time. Somebody named Early Warning System told them Not to Open an account for me
I've been banking with my real bank for 12 years but thought that I would give one of these quick and convenient sign-up online no-fee banks a try, especially if setting up a simple account was indeed simple, quick, and convenient...and free. What a waste and scam! Beware! They will take all of your confidential and private information online to open an account,then 5 minutes later send you an email stating "Sorry. We cannot open an account for you based on your information" It further tells you that they received information from some entity called "Early Warning Services" that warns them not to open an account..Neither entity would tell us the "secret" that Early Warning Services shared with them or "warned" them about, and of course, this "Online Bank" didn't provide a customer service number for us to call and have a human conversation about what just took place. It took us an hour to gather up all of the stuff they were asking for and get it scanned and loaded up to them. My business partner and I were simply trying to open a business savings account that we can make deposit into every so often to cover my taxes at the end of the year! The so-called "Quick" and "Easy" to apply and set up is not true. Stick with your regular banks! They may charge you a few dollars a month in fees but at least you know that you are dealing with a real bank and real people! Never even heard of this "bank" or these Early Warnining people before today!

Really dropped the ball during COVID.
Really dropped the ball during COVID. Instant Transfers have been down for a month. EDIT: They randomly announce they are shutting down for good and give 3 months notice. This is a BANK. How are people going to move their assets and establish elsewhere in only 3 months? It often times takes 6 weeks to establish a new banking account. This place is beyond a joke - it's now pretty much a scam and I will never use their new parent company. BBVA should be ashamed of themselves.

SLOW
My company is at a standstill. Checks that are supposed to clear in 2 days, take 4 (and I did clear the 4-6 day tier). Cant buy material, cant pay my workers, customer service has me on 10/15 minute holds. I'd rather pay the $12 fee at chase than deal with this. Theres always an excuse for why checks are on hold.

a few suggestions
a few suggestions: - Invoicing app needs to be enhanced to give us flexibility to modify eg invoice numbers. eg re-sending invoices eg sending in PFD format - Loan offers do not match small business needs. A more holistic suit would be great to have. Would love to have a place "free of noise", vetted by Azlo.

Great for New Micro Business Owners
As a new business owner, I was looking for a bank that I could access 24/7 and that didn't charge me tons a fees just to have a business checking account. Although I would have liked to have business checks and a business credit card through Azlo, I still love my bank. I would definitely recommend Azlo Bank.
