Loving Azlo!
I've had a great experience with Azlo thus far. It's simple and no hassle banking service for my business. I love being able to sign in and see and overview of customer payments that have come in via Stripe or PayPal. Overall, I'd recommend to any business.

Great Bank
Great mobile app, web app and customer service. Totally online experience, no bank branches and they've done a wonderful job with the transition. I definitely recommend for world travelers or digital nomads or even busy entrepreneurs that can't or won't do walk-in branch style banking. We have never had an issue. We are very pleased.

A great no-fee business account
Azlo’s a great bank. For a small business that needs a simple account, there isn’t an easier, more affordable option out there. -No fees and has enough integrations to get stuff done.

Azlo has been a great bank
Azlo has been a great bank to do business with. My only reason for giving it 4 stars versus 5 is that they don't have a savings account option. Otherwise, no complaints!

I LOVE Everything about Azlo except.....
I LOVE Azlo! I love everything about them except. . . . the ability to send a paper check. Azlo will send a paper check for you, but it is a little confusing and time consuming to try and do this online. I needed a paper check to attach with paperwork I had to send. For some reason the check could be made out to the payee but the address was mine. I believe I was told this is was the only way to send it to me, rather than have it sent direct to the payee. It just struck me as not very professional of me to send a check to them with their name and my address, like I didn't know how to fill out a check. But hey no worries! they cashed it :-)

Excellent online business bank
I really love utilizing Azlo as our small business bank. Transitioning to an online bank from a physical one felt a bit nerve-wracking - "Can I trust this?" "How is this going to work?" - but we have not had any issues, and Azlo has been absolutely amazing over the last year. I appreciate being able to send invoices directly through my account, and their customer service is stellar. My one comment is that I wish they provided separate business debit cards for married couples doing business together as a sole proprietorship. Otherwise, completely satisfied with Azlo and their awesome features and team.

Right now, we're able to issue cards to each owner (owning 25% or more) listed on your application. Unfortunately, for sole props, this means we're only to provide one card at present, even for married couples. If your business structure ever changes, this is something that we would be able to support! ^JW

So far it sucks.
So far, not a good choice. Week long wait on deposits. Odd holds on outgoing online payments. Unable to connect to Realtyzam. Overall, only good thing is it allows mobile deposit. Wasted because it takes a week to post. Will be changing to another bank with better access and useful business needs.

We don't place any holds on outgoing payments, but transfer times can vary depending on what time of day the transfer is initiated and the accepting institution. For instances where you need move money faster, we're working to offer an Instant Transfer option, which would allow you to instantly move money to or from a linked debit card. When it comes to check deposits, we know hold times are not ideal either. Though you may experience longer holds on your first couple of deposits, the good news is that these hold times will decrease as you build up deposit history. I thought this was going to be a great…
I thought this was going to be a great for my new home-based business. However, I soon found that transferring money between my business and personal accounts was far too difficult. First, I was unable to directly link my local credit union checking account to my business account in Azlo. Although I was able to link my FCU debit card, the verification debit/credit from my credit union took a full 7 days to show up in my Azlo account. (The transfer to open the account only took 2.) And then there are the debit card transfer fees. It will cost me 1-2% to transfer money via debit card. A $10 fee to transfer $500 IN to Azlo is more than my budget will allow. Sadly, need to find another banking solution.

Hi Robin— sorry you ran into these roadblocks. We use a system called Plaid to link accounts which is supported by most major banks, but unfortunately doesn't always work with smaller banks which have not opted into their service. The solution here is usually to initiate the link from the other account, and it sounds like you were able to do that. We definitely understand the frustration with those bank-to-bank transfers as well and those timelines can vary depending on the time of day, direction of transfer, and the other institution. While these transfers are 100% free, we know this isn't always ideal when timing is important, which is why we offer an Instant Transfer option. As with many other instant payment services, Instant Transfers are powered by a payment network which requires a processing fee for immediate money movement. Account Closed After a Week
I'd be wary of using Azlo as your main bank. I sent an application on 6/13, was approved on 6/17, received & activated my debit card on 6/26, but was suddenly notified on 6/27 that they've decided to close my account. I've kindly asked a couple representatives if they could at least provide a general reason for the account closure, but no luck. Thankfully, I still have my personal checking account to rely on, but I would've been stressed if I had counted solely on Azlo. Give them a try if you'd like, but know that even if you're initially approved, they may close your account without telling you why.

I applied and after about 15 days they…
I applied and after about 15 days they opened an account for me. I have good credit that I worked hard on after a really bad divorce and after they told me I was approved I had all my invoices sent out under my new company name. I went to activate my debit card which I received in the mail today and when I tried it stated that the account was closed. No reason for it, nobody responded and when I tried to call was on hold for over an hour. I am now stuck with thousands of dollars in checks that I cannot deposit. This was the WORST experience ever and I would not recommend to anyone. In fact, I am looking into seeing if I can file a complaint against this business practice.

Couldn't be happier
No-fee business account. Solid integration with QuickBooks, PayPal, Stripe. Relatively rapid transaction processing. Very pleased to have found Azlo. I've been with them for almost a year now.

I have been using these guys for a few years now and I can't say enough about how much it has helped me out. I can't stand going into the bank and having them offer me services and other stupid things I don't need so this fits the bill.

Account closed after a week!
Horrible. The account was approved, and i funded it. Shortly after funding it, the account was closed with no explanation why.
