Visitor Coverage Insurance Upsell, Fraud and Misrepresentation
Visitor coverage did misrepresent to upsell a very expensive plan (US Visit Pro) with a longer coverage period than was needed for my parents. The sales team assured multiple times in calls and emails at the time of selling that I would get the refund if I canceled the plan earlier (which I informed in advance). Thus, I trusted them and bought the insurance. Later, on the day of cancellation, I re-verified with the support team, and their support team's email confirmed the exact dollar amount to be refunded. However, the insurance company denied any refund as the tenure that was being upsell to me was the minimal. Hence, there would be no refund. I raised my concern to Visitors Coverage, and their support team has been making false promises for the past 7 weeks that they will issue refunds within 24-48 hours. I've all the proof and communication emails that clearly justify Visitor coverage as yet another insurance company with a sheer motive of upselling who doesn't care about people's emotions who just want to have medical coverage for our parents and elder members of the family. It just wanted to take our hard earned money to earn their commissions. I'm filing this complaint to BBB as well so that they can take appropriate steps for such fraudulent businesses and save people from getting trapped in future. Update: Visitor Coverage refunded the dues within few days of the complaint.

This has been fully resolved and a refund is issued. We also reached out and confirmed from you for the same. We do apologize that this specific case took longer than expected, as there was some dependency on the insurance administrator and necessary coordination among a few departments. Deceitful Marketing & No Accountability
Bought a travel policy from them specifically because it said it had quarantine coverage, which I need to travel to Argentina. They didn't put this on the Visa letter, so I called to see if they could add it. Told me I'd have to extend the policy to ~3x the length and contact the administrator for the letter. Called the administrator and they told me they can't help me and I'd have to call another company. Called that company and they said they also can't help me / there's no reason I should have been sent to them, I don't need to extend to 30 days, and it will be impossible to have quarantine added to my visa letter. Now I have to figure out how to cancel this policy and buy another one because of their deceitful marketing and lack of accountability. Wouldn't recommend to anybody

Not happy
Not happy. I wanted to buy another policy for my other child right after this one, typed all the info in twice and it was rejected because the dates overlap. This is for a different person, on different dates. Very frustrating. Also I can't call you as you are now closed. These are siblings, not parent-child so it said I couldn't buy both at the same time (plus different dates). Not sure if I would use your company again. I hope you can contact me and fix this.
