Our last experience with Buchroeders…
Our last experience with Buchroeders was absolutely terrible. We had an engagement ring repaired there - the neck of the ring had broken and a few of the side pave diamonds had fallen out. While we were there, we were solicited to get their “in-house insurance plan” which was suspicious. We were told her engagement ring was worth only 1/2 what it was purchased for, and the premium was double what I was already paying for the full amount through my current insurance? I digress. When my wife got her engagement ring back after repairs, the baguette diamonds they replaced it with were very noticeably yellow compared to the rest of the diamonds. When my wife called and asked why they didn’t match the color of the diamonds, she was told that this is a standard replacement and that there was nothing they could do about it. It wasn’t until I had to call and talk with a manager did it get resolved. Not even 1 month later, the crack in the neck resurfaced at the same place where they had apparently repaired it, and the baguettes fell out yet again. Since the repairs were done so recently and this happened, you would think that Buchroeders would take care of this right? Wrong. They told us to go back through insurance to do the repairs with someone else. Absolutely terrible service. I actively tell people to never go through Buchroeders. Their business is not about making the customer happy. Note* I have changed my rating from a 1 Star to what it is now due to Buchroeders response to my review.
