They don't stand behind their sales
So once out of warranty you are out of luck if it breaks (and it will) you can't even pay for a replacement biometric reader or pay for out of warranty repair. Short sighted and business limiting. If I can't fix it I won't buy product again. I'm just one customer but when others realize it can't be repaired after a few years you will lose them too. Very disappointed with this company....was a good safe, when it worked

Unfortunately, the warranty on your safe has expired and we no longer have the repair parts from that particular production run. Later production runs of your safe utilized different electronic parts and not all parts are compatible with other production runs.
Even without power, your safe it will continue to work mechanically with the physical key.
