WARNING
The experience that my husband and I have had with Homebridge has been horrific. Our mortgage was initially serviced with the Homebridge in Georgia. We found out that our mortgage had been sold to the HomeBridge in New Jersey. My husband and I were unaware why our loan was sold. Unfortunately there was not enough money going into our escrow account for our taxes. We were almost $7000.00 in arrears. Our initial servicer had never informed us that we needed extra money going to the escrow. Now we are in a repayment plan because we missed payments because we did not know and we needed time to come up with the $4500 that was needed. Our escrow continues to be negative, our credit took a hit because Homebridge reported our mortgage 30 days late. I have since lost my job. My husband and I have asked for assistance while I look for employment. The process is so slow, 30 days or longer meanwhile we're still behind two months with our mortgage and escrow. I'm not sure how everyone says this company is helpful and great. From our experience with HomeBridge, they are HORRIBLE. Stay away.
