Don't get duped by juiced bikes' bait…
Don't get duped by juiced bikes' bait and switch pricing strategy or just don't buy from them at all. Especially not at their misleading "sale" prices. They advertise a false sales price throughout the year when that's the price that they keep most of the time unless they actually run a real flash sale where the bikes are discounted $1,200 to $1,500 off their "regular" price. It's a bait and switch type of pricing strategy that's really unethical since ebikes are a relatively new thing and consumers don't quite know what a deal for these bikes look like yet. I would'nt be warning buyers of this pricing scheme if they were ethical enough to take care of customers who received their bikes days before their actual sales with some kind of store credit or price matching. So look out for their misleading deals and or just buy from better companies that value their customers like Bolton e bikes or even Radpower bikes.
I purchased a hyper scorpion that was supposedly discounted from $3,500 to $2,800. 4 days after receiving it, Juiced runs a flash sale on the bike for $2,000 and $1,600 for the regular scorpion. Thats a large amount for such a short period of time and Juiced wasn't willing to work out any fair resolution at all. Not even store credit on another bike.
As many others have mentioned, they have the worst customer support. I read the bad reviews but still bought 2 bikes to use as part of my delivery business. I assumed that most complaints were due to mechanical issues and figured I was knowledgeable and handy enough to avoid needing to contact them for mechanical issues.
However, $800 is a lot of money in such a short period of time so I tried my luck with calling them and even offered to take ANY fair resolution such as partial store credit. They wouldn't do anything at all and litterally said it's because "no other online retailer offers price matching" which is obviously false. I shop almost exclusively online for everything and have never had any company tell me they won't consider ANY type of reimbursement solution due to a recent sale. Especially for something that was purchased this close to the day of it's discount.
I would have purchased 2 more bikes from them today for my business if they showed me they were a fair company to work with by offering store credit or something. Now I know they're just a bad company that's unreasonable and doesn't value their customers for all types of reasons. not just when their product fails.
If you're new to ebikes like me and don't know if their fake "sales" price is a deal or not, its NOT. It's literally their regular pricing and doesn't change unless they run a real flash sale. I recommend buying from a company that's reasonable and value's your business. Juiced is neither which is sad. I will be buying my other delivery bikes from another company from now on since good business practice is priceless
