I received an insulting offer for the price of a very beautiful valuable engagement ring , saying that the valuation certificate was invalid despite having it done by a reputable family company in Hatton Garden very recently . The emails I received were confusing and inaccurately described the diamonds with the wrong carat . They offered me as little as £400. There is a similar one used on eBay with a very similar spec to my ring for in excess of £11,000. So I can’t help but think that this is daylight robbery .
I would be very careful selling to them and not believe what they say your precious items are worth .
