Return policy has you pay for return shipping…
Return policy has you pay for shipping and boxing item to return. For this reason I actually kept something i didn't need. At this price point, having us pay and deal with returns is pretty obnoxious. I will probably buy elsewhere for this reason

We are truly sorry that you were unhappy with your experience with myGemma. We offer free fully insured shipping out when an item is ordered and simply ask that if you wish to return an item that you pay for the shipping back and return it within 14 days. We heavily subsidize the return (again fully insured label) down to $35, whilst it costs us a lot more than that to ship, especially with some of the larger bags we sell. We do hope you enjoy your purchase (and are glad you didn't return it!) If you do, please shop again with myGemma!

We are sorry to hear that you did not have a great experience with us. Unfortunately, we do not provide free returns. As we advised during the three conversations you had with the team, if we provide a fully insured return shipping label for a return, we pass on some of the cost to the customer. Our customers are more than welcome to self-send, but we try to make it as easy as possible (and as cost effective) to make that return should you change your mind on an item. As such, your refund was made less the $35 charge. We hope that you will give us another chance in the future.

As per our response from your original review, we are sorry that you felt the need to write this. Fortunately, as our (potential) customers see by reading the thousands of glowing reviews people take the time to write for us here, we are a very nice and fair company to deal with. In this case, you purchased a "final sale" item (that had been heavily discounted) and then asked to return it. As a nice gesture, we agreed to take it back for store credit. You accepted this and purchased another item. This new item was, once more, a "final sale" item (also, heavily discounted). Unfortunately, you then asked to return this item again. When we said we weren't prepared to take this item back, you 1) threatened us with legal action if we didn't take it back, 2) said that the item is faulty (it's actually how DeBeers designs the product; and we even sent you the product literature explaining this design feature), 3) told us the website was not clear on what "final sale" means even though we say in red on the product page that you ordered from: "Final Sale - Not Eligible For Return".

Dishonest business!
Dishonest business!! Sent in my Chanel bag for a final price quote. Received an email from Mark, who informed they couldn't accept my bag because "the serial # sticker came off and that I tried to put it back on." I was puzzled and told Mark that the sticker never came off. He sent back the bag which I received on 7/17. I checked the serial sticker and it seemed like WP Diamond peeled of the protected sticker above the serial # sticker which caused some leather around the sticker to come off. Then, they turned around and tried to blame me so they don't have to take responsibility. I don't have proof to prove their wrongdoing. So, i'm taking the whole experience as bad luck and strongly Not Recommended this business to anyone.

Hello Annie, Unfortunately, we think you are misconstruing what was said. Here is what Mark had told you after the handbag experts had closely inspected the bag: "The serial code is placed in a spot where we think it could present us issues for re-selling. It looks like the sticker came off and was replaced." We did not state that you were the one to do it, it could have been sold to you second-hand as such. When the sticker is not in the original location from production by Chanel, it presents issues for re-sale, so that is why we had to pass. This is not an uncommon issue and some companies will sell bags like this in the secondary market, we choose not to. We open and examine all of our packages under surveillance to refute claims such as this, and we can confirm after reviewing the footage that the sticker was absolutely not touched or tampered with. We always return everything in the exact same condition that it arrives to us in. We would never, ever do anything to harm a customer or their goods. We stand behind the amazing work we do in providing the best experience for customers which is clearly exemplified by all of the feedback we have. We wish you the best with the bag. --WP Diamonds Management

Attitude once I asked for my items back!
Initial process was quick and simple (although the chasing emails in-between were getting annoying) Received an Initial 'quotation' which was really low however I thought its just a quote and they hadn't fully seen the bag, so I sent it off along with a couple of other items. Received the offer same day as they received my bag and was shocked to find the offer was the exact quotation I had received before I sent the bag off. I kindly asked for my items to be returned, that's when the attitude and exclamation marks set in by ZACH. Quote ' I thought we set a price expectation well enough for you ahead of time before sending. Not sure why this was sent in the first place!' I replied that the price was just a quotation which is why I sent my items. I then received no further responses and had to send chasing emails to have my items returned. Thankfully got them back and in the meantime had an offer of double what these sent me. Complete rip off merchants with attitude problems. I used this company based off good reviews but should have paid more attention to the bad ones. Definitely will not use or recommend

Hello Gemma, Thank you for your interest in working with us. Sorry you feel the way that you do. We make sure to provide accurate quotes ahead of time to clients to ensure that everyone is on the same page and the service is seamless. In this case, Zac was just surprised as we have never run into the issue of a client thinking our offer upon inspection would be higher than the offer we provided in the first place. It would be poor practice for us to operate as such. The overnight tracking number was provided to you the very next day and the items were sent back at no charge to you. Sorry you felt there was an attitude, but it was more just of confusion than anything else. We always make sure to treat our clients with the utmost care and respect, as the other reviews exemplify. We wish you the best, WP Diamonds Management

Hi, We are so sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with your purchase. All sale items on our website are clearly listed, in red, as Final Sale, underneath our sale price. This is clearly shown on the product page you are directed to from Tiktok, prior to checkout. Additionally, this was mentioned several times throughout the live. We have offered you the option to exchange your bag, something we do not typically offer in the case of an item on final sale. This option is still available to you! - myGemma team

Extremely disappointed
Extremely disappointed! First time using this platform and was very excited for my bag to arrive, only to find out when it arrived it was not the correct bag! The item description was completely false. Stated it was the large LV bag but in fact it was the smaller version. If you are going to authenticate something you should be an expert in the sizes of the various bags as well!

Hello, This is your third review this month of WP Diamonds. We would like to reiterate that we are very sorry to hear that you did not like the free price quote our luxury experts had worked on for you. We are afraid the disconnect was that the price you were seeking is what we would attempt to list this for, given that there are hundreds of this model currently on the open market. We are sorry we could not meet your personal expectations, but we, of course, wish you nothing but the best of luck in selling it. - WP Diamonds team

Unfair pricing and waste of time
I have successfully sold many designer bags elsewhere due to WP Diamonds offering the lowest price. I still came back with more bags as I liked how fast Zac responded and how helpful he was. I asked to book an appointment in their London office thinking I would cut time with shipping to Birmingham and then waiting for the bag to be returned if we did not agree on a price. Last minute I was asked to upload 10 bags on the portal for a quote. I asked if they wanted them all and the answer was "yes, but not the Balenciaga". It took me ages to upload as their system is slow with large high quality images. 10 min later, all my quote requests got rejected! I had already sent you the list and full images via Dropbox, Zac. You had all the details. Why still ask me to upload knowing you will reject them? The appointment seemed to be going well as David was very professional and kind. He checked my bag and necklace and asked to send his report to someone in NYC who has the final say it seems, but then all went downhill from there. After trying to hint at an item not being genuine or flawed, she still had the audacity to offer the lowest price for a Chanel jumbo even after I told them I was offered way more than that. I can now clearly see through these tactics after reading some negative reviews on Trustpilot. Knock it down, instill doubt in the seller, and then try to get yourself the best deal. FYI to David and the person in NYC. I took the Tiffany necklace to be valued and got confirmation it was genuine. The box and pouch are also genuine. I bought the necklace in 2009, so production could have been updated by now. What you are doing is not acceptable. I am writing this review so that others can save their time and effort. You can get triple their cash offers elsewhere. I write this as I happily await cash transfers for all 10 designer handbags I sold this week to fair and honest resellers in the UK and France. Including over £1000 for the Platinum diamond Tiffany. I do my research and approach many buyers, that’s how I know that WP offers are not fair. Update|: I sold the Tifanny necklace to a jeweller in Mayfair within 10 min. no fuss. Perhaps you need to assess your appraisal standards.

Hello Mai, We are sorry to read about the experience that you had. As we are keen merchandisers, we do unfortunately sometimes need to reject bags for style. In your case, most of the bags fell into this rejection category, but obviously this could only be ascertained once you uploaded the photos for each. The final bag that we liked the look of from the photos actually appeared worse in real life and so we felt the need to lower the evaluation. The corners were heavily worn for example, which we could see not see in any of the uploaded photos. We try to give a range to capture eventualities like this and in 95% of cases we do fall within the range, but in this case it was beyond the norm. We are glad that you did find a new home for them though! As for the Tiffany necklace, we have stringent quality controls when purchasing and too many potential issues were discovered. If we are not 100%, we pass on an item. If we see issues with the piece, at a minimum it raises quality control issues with the brand (and our customers want items to be "as-new") and in the worst case situation, we cannot afford to sully our reputation and be selling counterfeit items. In this case, two of the stones were darker in color than the other two, which raised some red flags. Again, so sorry for your experience and we wish you the best. --WP Diamonds Management

Bad business
Beware to those who send items for quotes! The guy who is the head of client services named Mark Salirano is rude. He is not only behind the lowball quotes but he does not accepts too many items to be quoted only to be declined! He complains that it took him awhile to process estimates whereus us who are sending items to them took more than forever to submit due to their user unfriendly system. save your time and submit your items to Fashionphile, not here..their quote is not worth it and the this guy is rude!

Hello Chatt, We are sorry that you felt compelled to write a negative review for Mark. He certainly did not mean to be rude at all. As you can see from all of the glowing reviews mentioning Mark, he is highly regarded by our customers. Having sold him 35 bags in the past year, you know what a professional he is. Mark was simply passing along feedback from management that stated that we are no longer going to be able to quote items for you moving forward. You recently submitted 30+ items that our team spent several hours carefully evaluating based on all of the photos provided and the current market and every single quote was quickly dismissed. We understand you run a resale business and therefore have invested a lot of money into your items, but if the market prices we are offering do not align with yours, we cannot have our team spend precious time quoting your items. As such, we are obviously disappointed that you would retaliate in this manner. We wish you luck in your business venture. —WP Diamonds Management

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service. They may have great reviews for those buying locally in the US but be very, very wary if you’re buying from overseas as the import taxes are not clear at all. I paid $136 shipping fee then they added an extra $870 on top for taxes!!! This should be part of the buying process especially as when you first enter the site it asks if you are buying from Australia. The bag I bought was initially $4800 which was deducted from my credit card straight away then 5 days later I noticed the charge had increased to $5103.!! Then and extra $900 on top is just ridiculous. Not happy.

Hi, We are very sorry to hear that you were not pleased with your experience at myGemma. We do state on our website, that for international deliveries: "Please note that you will be responsible for any duties and taxes in your home country on import of your purchase. These costs are not factored into our sales price and will be charged to you by the carrier prior to delivery." As such, the carrier would have asked you for payment prior to delivery. We do not collect these duties. This is an Australian import duty/tax collection by the carrier, not myGemma. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at [email protected] - myGemma

TERRIBLE experience with WP…
Had a terrible experience with WP Diamonds. I am looking to sell 2 diamond rings that I no longer wear, these 2 pieces are on the smaller sides from my collections, and because they have been just sitting there, I was thinking either to sell them or perhaps convert them into pendents. After looking into getting a couple of estimates, I decided to go with WP Diamonds, because their estimate was $150 more than others, and Mark, the rep that I have been corresponding was more professional and helpful. Upon my visit to their office, Mark's demeanor was a bit rude, I almost thought perhaps this was not the same person I was corresponding with over the email. Once the gemologist checked and confirmed the piece, "Mark" came in and told me that their final price is $xxxx ($150) less than quoted. I asked what happened to the the estimate he had mentioned to me via email? He said that was the highest of the range and that the diamond's girdle was thick. Excuse me? I had provided the GIA certificate for their estimate and on the certificate the girdle thickness is very clearly indicated, but now WP Diamond is trying to stiff me $150 because "the girdle is thick"? In other words - this company provides quotes higher then others, knowing that this will bring in more customers, and since most people who sell jewelries are typically in desperate situations, they won't walk away because of $150. Well, I was already loosing $5,000 from what I paid for. So I told him - "No, I will keep it. Thanks." He was very rude, didn't even bother to look at me and then pointed to the exit for me to leave. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. Edited to respond to WP's response: Interesting that their response is very detailed and a LOT more than what Mark had said to me - he literally said to me "because the girdle is thick" when I asked him why is the offer $7,000 and not $7,150? There was no "Do you have any questions? Can I explain how did we come to the $7,000 offer?" NOTHING. He just pointed to the exit for me to leave. As for your excuse of me not negotiating? Isn't by me asking "Why is the offer $7,000 and not $7,150?" the start of a negotiation? You're buying diamonds at a ridiculously low price from people, yet you want to make me out to be the unreasonable person here. I hope my review will be serve as warning for anyone who is looking to sell their diamonds.
Date of experience: February 23, 2022
Hi Stephanie, Thanks very much for taking the time to come in. We enjoyed hosting you and are very surprised to read what you are stating. The information referenced in this review is certainly different from our perspective of what happened in your appointment. There was no animosity, rudeness or anything of the sort. If you were to read our other reviews mentioning Mark, this review indeed reads very oddly. When you inquired with us to sell the ring, a very clear range was provided to you of $6,750-$7,150 for your 1.20ct F VS1 Medium Blue fluorescent Round diamond ring. This was communicated over the phone, and also over email (the same email chain that you and Mark were communicating on). We provide a range because, even though a GIA grading report contains a lot of information, the true look and nature of the diamond is a combination of the statistics and the visual peculiarities of each unique diamond. In addition, as your GIA report is from 2004, it does not have a Cut Grade, which is a key determinant of pricing. Upon the final inspection, the gemologists informed Mark that due to the girdle of the stone, it will end up as a Very Good cut grade as opposed to Excellent. As such, we offered $7,000, which is towards the high end of the range. We feel we offered a very fair price (in the upper half of our $400 range) and your response was that you would like to keep the diamond. We do not apply pressure in customer interactions and there was no attempt by you at a negotiation, so Mark did not push. We are sorry you did not appreciate the outcome of the appointment and we wish you the best with your sale elsewhere. --WP Diamonds Management

DO NOT USE, SCAM
DO NOT USE. THEY WILL LOSE YOUR WATCH AND NOT COMPENSATE YOU. I shipped my watch out months ago and it was then "lost in transit". Zachary Learned was talking to me in a rude manner in the MONTHS worth of exchanges for me to get compensated. Once Malca (the insurance company investigating the case) concluded that the watch was lost in transit, I was to be payed out for my watch. Zachary asked for a picture of my ID, when i sent the picture he claimed it was photoshopped. I have been treated like an animal by a company that claims to be professional. Zachary has absolutely no interest in his clients and their satisfaction, especially when they are in risk of a massive loss. Not only am I horrified at such terrible service, but also now in great loss. This watch was my most prized possession until it was "lost" and no compensation was given. This company does not care about it's customers. AVOID AT ALL COST.
Date of experience: January 24, 2022
The response to this comment will be more so for any potential onlooker and less so for Mr. Mullins. This individual was involved in an attempted insurance fraud regarding a parcel he attempted to send to us. We are thankful that we were able to catch a fraudulent insurance claim before the money was paid out, and this claim has now been rejected by Malca after further investigation. There were several red flags during the shipping process. The client suggested that they lived in Florida (this review was posted from overseas), however gave the address of a Postal Company in Delaware as their return address when asked for their home address in case it needed to be returned. He then shipped it from another address, but the FedEx tracking suggested yet another one. We always try to give the client the benefit of the doubt, so we proceeded with a claim to be investigated despite these facts. When asked to provide ID, the customer provided two fake IDs (one with a poorly photoshopped photo of a ~60 year old man and the date of birth of a 32 year old, and the other with a photo of an entirely different person). The two IDs had the same license number apart from one digit, but the same name and date of birth. The customer still maintains that the ID is real despite it not being possible and our verifying it with Florida DMV. When asked to provide banking details, he requested that the funds be deposited into someone else’s account (another major red flag). We passed these details onto the insurance company who then decided it needed to be investigated further given all of these red flags. Upon doing so, they were able to determine that this was not a legitimate claim and no watch was ever sent. While we had every intention to pay this individual, despite our doubts, it was ultimately deemed fraudulent by the powers that be. As several dozen pages of reviews suggest, this is an isolated scenario. We have faith that there will not be others like this, but we unfortunately cannot control the malice of others and as a company working with the general public, we are unfortunately at times exposed to these situations. We urge anyone with any doubts, concerns or questions to please contact [email protected] and we will happily discuss further.
