Zero stars-- Account verification and customer service are awful
I have used zero interest payments to make many large purchases over the years from furniture to bicycles, even a kayak. So when I wanted to buy a solar set up for my camping trailer I thought it would make sense to spread it out. They offered getbread which I'd not heard of,but given a very high credit score I thought piece of cake. I uploaded my REAL id as requested, and then got a reply saying more information was needed to verify my identity. It was the weekend so I figured I'd now need to wait til monday. I didn't hear from them Monday so called on Tuesday. They asked me 4 ridiculous questions about people I might know (not previous addresses, or vehicles owned, etc...). I didn't recognize any of the names but then I know thousands of people but I surely don't remember them all. So none of their questions would rule in my identity. 48 hours or so later I get an email with a rejection notice, saying they . When I call they can't give me any information and on top of that were quite rude and dismissive of my concerns and would not provide me the ability to speak with a supervisor. I will never ever consider them again.
