Bank 5 was called on Saturday (3/23)…
Bank 5 was called on Saturday (3/23) morning with the intention of speaking with the Somerset MA bunch manager regarding a maturing CD. The phone was answered by a Bank 5 associate who said she could offer me the help I needed. The associate was given my 2 account numbers and explained the CD's were maturing on 3/30 and I wanted to check if Bank 5 could match competitive rates from other banks. The associate said she would put in my request to corporate and that I would receive a call back on Monday (3/25) with an answer. I have not as of today. Tuesday (3/26) received a call back from Bank 5. I am disappointed and annoyed by this experience and will pursue moving these accounts away from Bank 5.
